I'll start by saying that the coffee is absolutely impeccable. Truly unbeatable for Weehawken. The food is alright, but pricey for what it is. Customer service is straightforward and gets the job done, but not welcoming. That said, don't expect Manhattan quality on this side of the river. This place is in my opinion similar to Starbucks. Their apple brie sandwich, which my girlfriend ordered, had mealy apple with ultra bland brie. Neither of us were able to finish it. My turk panini was somewhat better but I found the honey mustard way too sweet and would have preferred dijon mustard. Also the chips they served with the sandwiches are ordinary bagged lays chips, which I was not a huge fan of. I can't speak to their coffee and more cafe oriented offerings but based on my experience I will not come back here for a genuine meal. read more

Cute little coffee shop with spacious interior and delicious coffee in a neighborhood that badly needs more good coffee shops (though beware, the prices are NY prices). They also have a very clean bathroom. They should also consider adding more sweets to their menu and fixing the way the hallway in front of the bathroom looks. read more

Hello Steven! I'm your neighbor and have been excited to see you open (for months)! I love your food selection (it gets bigger) and your coffee! I know the price point is relatively high in this area in general, but consider the target neighborhood, it makes more sense. Some recommendations to make your business even better: Be more upfront about your offerings: perhaps have a more extensive menu on the wall instead of having everything on the folded menu, cuz I might have walked straight out if in my first few seconds in the cafe, all I see are a few coffee selections on that wooden board. (I.e blue bottles or Starbucks hanging menu) Have some promotional events, such as happy hours (like those Starbucks ones) on certain days to attract more traffic, especially on weekends. Perhaps have some special coffee offerings weekly or every two weeks (I.e. simple flavors) Have some loyalty program, simple stamps maybe. These are some general observations and not sure of what I said are feasible to the business. But from a consumer standpoint, this is what would increase my stickiness to the establishment! Raisin roll pastry was stale. My husband and I ate half of it and put it through the garbage disposal. Ham and cheese panini was not a panini but a sandwich. They did not use the right bread and place the sandwich down on a grill press. Please don't call your sandwich a panini. Iced americano was packaged in cheap cups with mismatching lids. It caused the coffee to spill everywhere and tasted watery. I can't believe that a cafe with these prices could package coffee to go this way. Appalling. Go to Starbucks down the street. read more

As a baby vegan I still crave certain foods and everything smells good. But i start my morning off with a shot of turmeric and then I have the refresher juice. I love the look of this place and the always fresh pastries. They have really solid bagels as well. Unfortunately it's not a full kitchen so you can only get select breakfast sandwiches. So if I'm looking for a bagel with a couple of eggs, I'll stop in here. I'm not the biggest fan of the coffee but it's still gets the job done. I ordered the Milano coffee which is $5 and asked for it to be iced which is a $1.25 charge and 2 extra espresso shots which added up to being $10 in total...This is robbery. Love making a #treatyoself stop here on weekends when I take a nice leisurely stroll along the waterfront with my hubby or bestie. The iced lattes with almond milk are my go-to and super delicious. A little pricey at nearly $7 -- but since it's not a daily purchase I like to think of it as a little end-of-week indulgence. My hubby and friend have had the donuts they sell (which I believe are brought in from another bakery) and loved them. Staff is always prompt and friendly; cafe and bathroom always clean. The coffee here is the worst. Ordered an iced latte and was given a hot one. When I mentioned this, the barista took the hot latte, poured it into a cup of ice and handed that to me. It doesn't take a scientist to deduce that now you have the most watered down cup of coffee ever. Took two sips and tossed it. My husband got a cold brew and asked for almond milk. Barista takes it behind the counter and hardly pours anything in it and gives it back. Why isn't there milk available for self serve? This is worse than Starbucks. The only thing worth your time are the croissants they get from the Montclair bakery, Le French Dad. Go across the street to Porter where they actually know how to make a cup of coffee. read more

So happy to discover this great and much needed cafe, not far from the Port Imperial Light Rail station. Nice menu with breakfast options and bagels, plus salads, wraps, sandwiches, paninis, yogurt parfaits and more, in addition to their many coffee choices, muffins, and pastries. I had the Mediterranean chickpea salad, which was delicious. Looking forward to trying their coffee and a muffin on my next visit. read more
