Yummy chicken. Ordered the spiciest chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was very spicy and had small notes of sweetness to it. The burger had 2 chicken patties inside. It's a really hefty chicken burger. BIGGER than KFC or Popeyes sandwich. Along with the sandwich I upgraded my combo to have snow fries. I shared fries with my friends and we could all agree very different very good. I encountered the owner who was so nice despite the language barrier. I had asked to have the sandwich cut but because it's very messy they gave me gloves, a butter knife, and more napkins to do it. I've had their chicken before when they had a bar/restaurant in Kunia. I tried Steve's spicy chicken sandwich combo. It's good and not overly spicy. The pickles and thinly sliced raw onions were the perfect foil to the gochujang sweet spiciness of the tender chicken. Nice soft onion bun. Fries could've been just a bit crispier for me, but they were perfectly seasoned. The drink cup, while a generous size and cute was pretty flimsy so be forewarned. Still had the old Bomb Chicken sign and they still were using the Bomb Chicken papers and containers and even the receipt . That time, had the snow chicken and rice. Absolutely loved the chicken - plenty of "snow" (sweetened Parmesan cheese). Promised to return and came back tonight. Their sign was up, their menu was up, and it was cool to have both chicken sandwiches and wings in one place, AND they had rice! (For me, fried chicken of any kind needs rice, and other chicken places are beginning to discontinue the white rice offering on their menus.) So...This will be my chicken go to from now on. Steve, the owner is friendly and talkative. There's a young man actually takes the orders and rings everything up and he's very nice, too. Both of them were there the two times I've gotten food from. Today, daughter ordered the honey garlic chicken sandwich. It was nice sized and she enjoyed it. Came with lettuce and onions. I tasted the sauce and it was pretty good. Fries were ok, too - thin and crisp. She got the combo and the drink was pretty big. It was a good deal. My combo of original (plain) and garlic shoyu wings were good. Only ate half since it was essentially two orders. Original is very plain, needs something. Garlic shoyu was tasty, and a little different from most other wing places, it had a slight tang to it and the sweetness seemed more from honey than sugar. Receipt still says Bomb Chicken and the papers in the take out container do, too. Guess they got a good deal from a bomb Chicken? As my friends and I were figuring out what to eat for dinner, the owner had been calling out to us to advertise the food. They very kindly explained to us their menu and had great hospitality. Finally got to try Steve's Chicken as I LOVE some good KFC. Ordered the 10 piece Garlic Soy and requested for it to be spicy as the cook in the back said he can make it spicier if desired. Best tasting chicken sandwich everrrrrrr!! Moist, crispy, flavorful and spicy! Damn..... After tasting how delicious the sandwich was I was expecting the wings to be dope as well. They looked delicious as you could see all the garlic bits on each piece of chicken . Sadly on the first bite, it was a big dud. No spice and the garlic soy was too sweet and no pop in flavor. I took the order and said it was supposed to be extra spicy and there was no kick. The cook came out with a squeeze bottle of hot sauce and drizzled it on the chicken and also gave extra in a small cup. While the sauce had a kick, it did not blend well with the garlic soy. It tasted like the same spicy sauce in the chicken sandwich which was awesome, but on the KFC it did not leave the same epic impression. Definitely recommend the Mom's Spicy Chicken Sandwich as it will slap all the rest of the chicken sandwiches out there! You name the place and Steve's will lay a beat down! As for the KFC? They were very joyful and helpful, they made my 2 daughters day. The chicken was amazing. We tried the Steve's Hot sandwich and the BTS Hot Egg Sandwich. The sandwiches were huge and delectable. The chicken was juicy yet crunchy. We also had the Shoyu Garlic wings which were also delicious. Some of the best chicken wings I've had. They have a big list of flavors you can choose from and I'm determined to try them all. My favorite so far? The snow cheese wings; it's on the sweeter side which I enjoy because the flavor reminds me of those Filipino cheese ball snacks. The prices are a bit steep but you really are paying for the quality.
