I visited Steve's Chicken with my gal pals. With a wide selection of food places of in the Pearlridge Food court, I was intrigued by the friendly and welcoming staff. I ordered the mom's chicken sandwich and the 5 piece garlic wings. My gal pal and I decided to share the food since it was a late lunch. The order came out fast and it was piping hot. The food came with gloves, which I appreciate since it's hard to eat saucy wings when you're out with friends. It's common to have gloves or hand wipes with finger foods in Asia. Anyway, we had to let the sandwich and wings cool for a bit. You could tell the food was fresh because of all the steam coming out. Once the food cooled down a little, we took a bite. It was so delicious. The wings were flavorful and had a crispy exterior. The sandwich was tall and filled with chicken and veggies. My friend and I happily ate the food and raved about how delicious it is. I definitely recommend trying this place. Usually mall food courts are slim pickings, but this place was satisfying and has good portions.

I'm surprised I never ate at Steve's in uptown Pearlridge. I guess no better time than doing it today, huh? First impression leaves me liking what I see in terms of the options. I guess since I was kind of wanting to try something different, I opted for the Sweet Chili Sandwich. And...I gotta say, I'm impressed by what they're doing. The coating of the chicken isn't thick, and the vegetables were great to complement it well. The sweet chili sauce definitely comes out with each bite, and there was just enough of it to enjoy the meal. Overall, it's very good for what you get. Maybe next time, I should try another of their flavored chicken sandwiches/wings if I ever go back there again.

Went for a quick bite to eat for dinner at the pearlridge uptown food court. My cousin got a chicken sandwich here and she said it was really good. So I decided to order a chicken sandwich myself. Customer service here is top tier, super friendly and helpful staff. I was having trouble choosing which chicken sandwich to get because they came in so many flavors! But the employee explained and broke down the menu for me. I opted for the honey garlic sandwich. Let me start off by saying that the sandwich is HUGE! The chicken is THICK but packed with so much flavor. It was sweet, salty & savory! The fries the comes in the combo were delish too. Very comparable fries to Zippys or jolibee if you're into that. I really really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be coming back to order more chicken sandwiches or even try their chicken wings.

Gotta love walking up to order for the first time with my family and being serenaded with: "La La La Lava Ch Ch Ch Chicken Steve's Lava Chicken, yeah it's tasty as hell Ohhhh mamacita now you're ringing the bell Crispy and juicy, now you're having a snack Oohh super spicy it's a lava attack!" Automatic 10/10 for putting a smile on all our faces, being attentive to not only my husband and I, but also super engaging with all our boys as well. We ordered the boys: 15 piece original wings with rice Steve's hot chicken sandwich Once the boys got their food, we noticed Uncle at the counter watching them enjoy eating and even went out of his way to hand deliver some shoyu with furikake! Who does that?! Mad props and respect to him! Thank you for making Steve's Chicken a great experience for them! As far as the chicken, my boys loved it and considered Steve's to be TOP 5! Can't wait to come back!

I'd always wanted to try Steve's Chicks in Kunia, so I was bummed to see it close. I was excited when they opened a new location in Pearlridge and finally got the chance to stop by! Steve's Chicken is a fast casual Korean fried chicken spot located in the uptown food court. We were greeted with friendly, upbeat service as we looked at their menu of sandwiches and wings. We ordered two jumbo chicken thigh sandwiches to share. Honey Garlic Chicken Sandwich - Juicy chicken, cheese, lettuce, pickles and a super buttery and garlicy sauce! Think garlic shrimp in chicken form. Would definitely order again! Spicy Mom's Chicken Sandwich - Crispy chicken with cheese, onions, lettuce and a drizzle of hot sauce. Surprisingly spicy and delicious! The price is definitely high but the sandwiches are large and quality!

Stopped by Steve's Chicken in the Pearlridge Mauka (Uptown) food court. We ordered the honey garlic chicken sandwich, the Italian basil pesto chicken sandwich combo (comes with fries and a drink), and a 2-choice order of chicken wings with the supreme and snow cheese powder flavor (10 wings total). The sandwiches use chicken thigh, which makes them extra juicy. The breading is light and crisp but not as crispy as other Korean chicken spots. Portion is huge! It could easily be feed 1-2 people. The honey garlic is sweet and savory and kinda reminded me of a honey mustard, and the Italian basil pesto was herbaceous. The wings are bone-in flats and drumettes. The supreme flavor wings reminded us of a sweet BBQ with a mild spicy kick. I wish they offered that sauce as a side for the fries, I would totally purchase. The snow cheese powder had that nostalgic cheesy flavor similar to Doritos or Cheetos. Service was quick, and the staff were genuinely friendly. We're pretty sure the owner was behind the counter, chatting with customers and playing with the kids. You can really feel the local, family-run vibe here.

Mother cluckin' good chicken sandwiches. Thanks Aron N. for the recommendation. Putting this rating into perspective, Popeye's, KFC, or Jollibee chicken sandwiches are all one star. Eighty Chicken Sandwiches, the best chicken sandwich in Hawaii, is five stars. These are giant, weighty sandwiches. Three large chicken thigh tenders in hearty potato buns slathered with whatever tasty sauce makes up your selection, piled high with veg that interestingly is tossed with a sweet dressing. Sliced dill pickles finish up the creations. The best part, the chicken isn't over salted. It allows the flavors like the pesto and shaved parm of the Italian Basil Pesto Chicken Sandwich to stand out. All is not perfect. The fish for the fish and chips is processed and taste like it's been frozen too long. The fries are oddly rubbery. Inexpensive in tariff town 'Murica averaging $15 each. Very friendly service. A solid, albeit different take on chicken sandwiches that are well worth a visit to a mall food hall.

I was just walking by when the owner called me over. He was very kind and started explaining the various items on the menu, i ended up going with the snow cheese powder chicken wings. The wings were VERY tasty and the flavor was like no other wings i've had before. After i paid he even gave me a choco pie on the house! I will definitely be back soon to try other items on the menu or to reorder the snow cheese powder wings again.

We were searching for a place to have lunch. Steve's Chicken was highly recommended by our fellow Yelper's. Located in the Pearlridge Shopping Center on the Macy's side food court. Service is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. They cook everything fresh well worth the short wait. Today we tried Mama's Chicken Sandwich Combo and the Original and Snow Chicken Wings. The sandwich was delicious and the wings totally cravable. Dine in at the food court seating or take out available. Definitely a great place for Fried Chicken

I just ate the largest chicken sandwich I have ever seen. I mean, you might think that Popeyes and Jollibee have large chicken sandwiches and you are right! They are large. But Steve's chicken sandwich is ridiculously LARGE! There must be twice the amount of chicken in this sandwich! The container couldn't close and the sandwich was bursting out of the container! Is it good? Yes! But let me get into the specifics..... The sandwich is so large that it actually suffers from being too big. My first bite needed way more flavor. The chicken itself is not heavily seasoned so it's actually quite bland. Adding salt doesn't help - it needs more herbs or spices or brine. It is a large piece of chicken and it needs some kind of brine or seasoning to make that bite sing. However, all is not lost, the sandwich actually does pack a punch (I got the pesto sandwich BTW). The punch and flavor is on the bottom! Unfortunately I was several big bites in before I realized it. The onions, sweet pickles, dressing, pesto, cheese was mostly on the bottom. I took a bite from the bottom and it was a sweet delicious concoction! But by then my sandwich was falling apart. At that point I used a fork and knife. Even then, I had HUGE pieces of chicken that I had to eat. So maybe the answer is to turn it upside down in the wrapper and eat it that way? The sandwich was around $14 for the sandwich alone so it's pricey - but you get a lot. Overall, quite an experience and good service. If you are hungry and want the biggest chicken sandwich you have ever seen, go to Steve's! But take it from me, rotate the sandwich before eating and you will enjoy the first few bites a lot more!

To go establishment features a combo choice of fries or rice and fountain drink for extra $6.99. Thin, crispy fries ideal for dipping in excess sauce. Raspberry iced tea with perfect amount of crushed ice was refreshing on a hot day. Worker and Owner are very friendly. I asked the worker, "Which flavors are popular?" She mentioned the flavors are garlic shoyu, snow cheese powder, and seasoned chicken wings I can choose either mild, medium or spicy. I'm thinking, "Wow! I'm sold on the flexibility of choices for spice level in seasoned chicken wings." Worker asked me, "If I'm ok with waiting 15 minutes as they will make more chicken?" Owner apologized for wait time due to making a big order earlier this morning. I said, "Yes." Worth the 15 mins wait. Located in Pearlridge Mall Food Court ground floor. Garlic shoyu and snow cheese powder chicken sounds appealing on a future visit.

Something's you try things twice. I think I'm addicted. I tried mom's chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint-- twice! They got the good soft sandwich bread, chicken was super moist but COOKED (iykyk) and mom's sauce is on point. I know it's a bit much for a sandwich, but it fills you like a plate lunch. The sandwich is BIG. Go try yourself!!! read more

For starters, the owner and workers are all very generous and hard working people! As my friends and I were figuring out what to eat for dinner, the owner had been calling out to us to advertise the food. They very kindly explained to us their menu and had great hospitality. The owner even gave out snacks to our youngest friend. We ordered the combination meal with two flavors of chicken and fries + drink. The wait time was short and the food was of amazing quality! Everyone was very generous and gave us the best service. They thanked us once again as we left and were very sociable and easy to converse with. Yummy chicken. Ordered the spiciest chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was very spicy and had small notes of sweetness to it. The burger had 2 chicken patties inside. It's a really hefty chicken burger. BIGGER than KFC or Popeyes sandwich. Along with the sandwich I upgraded my combo to have snow fries. I shared fries with my friends and we could all agree very different very good. I encountered the owner who was so nice despite the language barrier. I had asked to have the sandwich cut but because it's very messy they gave me gloves, a butter knife, and more napkins to do it. I've had their chicken before when they had a bar/restaurant in Kunia. They closed down to open up this place in Pearlridge. Next time I will definitely stop by for the wings. All in all, would definitely go again. read more

Was excited to see Steve's Chicken in Pearlridge's Mauka (or Uptown) food court, as I didn't have the chance to try them when they were located in Kunia. Being my first visit, the employee was very friendly and helpful in making my mind up, selecting the 5 pc BBQ chicken wings for 13.99. The sauce is a smooth combination of bbq sauce and mayonnaise. And it was delicious! I made it a combo for 6.99 and enjoyed the furikake rice with the chicken. Before my order came out, I met Steve who was friendly and appreciative of trying his store! Based on this impressive first visit, I plan to return to try their many other menu choices! I very much recommend Steve's Chicken! read more

I tried Steve's spicy chicken sandwich combo. It's good and not overly spicy. The pickles and thinly sliced raw onions were the perfect foil to the gochujang sweet spiciness of the tender chicken. Nice soft onion bun. Fries could've been just a bit crispier for me, but they were perfectly seasoned. The drink cup, while a generous size and cute was pretty flimsy so be forewarned. Young man who took my order was polite. All in all, a solid 4 stars. I'd like to try some of their other dishes. read more

It's located in the food court uptown in pearlridge. They're fairly new to the island my friends brought me over to try it and I gotta say it's a great spot. You get the options of 5 pieces or 10 pieces, they also have the share combo which you can pick 2 flavors of your choice. They also got different flavors of chicken sandwiches that my friends love. Their food is very filling for lunch or dinner. Their customer service is amazing super friendly and the owner is really funny and very engaging if it's your first time. Cashier is great and walks you through the menu and gives great recommendations if you don't know what you want. The pricing is at a reasonable price. read more

Service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered 4 sandwiches mom's chicken, mom's spicy chicken, Steve's hot chicken & honey garlic chicken plus 2 fries. All the sandwiches were neatly put together, sandwiches were filling. The spicy chicken and Steve's hot sandwiches had heat to them. All the chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Service was good. Ordered the honey garlic chicken sandwich, about $16 including tax. Waited about 10min. Sandwich came out hot and chicken was very crispy. For $16, the sandwich was pretty big. It was filled with lots of veggies (onions, lettuce, pickles), cheese, and 2 chicken patties. Honey garlic sauce was good. Couldn't finish it so I took the rest home and ate it later. Overall, would definitely go back and try their fried chicken wings. read more

First stumbled on Steve's Chicken on Feb 12, before they even had their sign up. Still had the old Bomb Chicken sign and they still were using the Bomb Chicken papers and containers and even the receipt . That time, had the snow chicken and rice. Absolutely loved the chicken - plenty of "snow" (sweetened Parmesan cheese). Promised to return and came back tonight. Their sign was up, their menu was up, and it was cool to have both chicken sandwiches and wings in one place, AND they had rice! (For me, fried chicken of any kind needs rice, and other chicken places are beginning to discontinue the white rice offering on their menus.) So...This will be my chicken go to from now on. Steve, the owner is friendly and talkative. There's a young man actually takes the orders and rings everything up and he's very nice, too. Both of them were there the two times I've gotten food from. Today, daughter ordered the honey garlic chicken sandwich. It was nice sized and she enjoyed it. Came with lettuce and onions. I tasted the sauce and it was pretty good. Fries were ok, too - thin and crisp. She got the combo and the drink was pretty big. It was a good deal. My combo of original (plain) and garlic shoyu wings were good. Only ate half since it was essentially two orders. Original is very plain, needs something. Garlic shoyu was tasty, and a little different from most other wing places, it had a slight tang to it and the sweetness seemed more from honey than sugar. Receipt still says Bomb Chicken and the papers in the take out container do, too. Guess they got a good deal from a bomb Chicken? Will definitely go back when I'm in the mall and hankering for fried chicken. There's other flavors to try, but so far my fav are the snow wings. read more

AMAZING!! We came looking for our chicken spot and we're surprised to see Steve's Chicken in it's place. We were greated by owner operator Steve and his staff. They were very joyful and helpful, they made my 2 daughters day. The chicken was amazing. We tried the Steve's Hot sandwich and the BTS Hot Egg Sandwich. The sandwiches were huge and delectable. The chicken was juicy yet crunchy. We also had the Shoyu Garlic wings which were also delicious. We were also treated to a sample of the Snow Fries, my daughters were skeptical but absolutely loved them. We all did. We are sure Steve and team will keep up the delicious work. Some of the best chicken wings I've had. They have a big list of flavors you can choose from and I'm determined to try them all. My favorite so far? The snow cheese wings; it's on the sweeter side which I enjoy because the flavor reminds me of those Filipino cheese ball snacks. The prices are a bit steep but you really are paying for the quality. Like the snow cheese wings I mentioned earlier? Yeah, they don't just do a dusting of cheese powder, that stuff is packed on. Service has been A+ every time I've visited, they've got a returning customer with me for sure. read more

The Korean fried chicken here is a little bit different than what I'm used to (e.g. bb.q Chicken, Bonchon, maybe Von's), but it's delicious. The flavors available are your typical Korean flavors, such as soy garlic or gochujang. This is also where I had my first Korean fried chicken sandwich - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, yum! read more

Finally got to try Steve's Chicken as I LOVE some good KFC. Ordered the 10 piece Garlic Soy and requested for it to be spicy as the cook in the back said he can make it spicier if desired. I was stoked to hear that as I love spicy . For good measures I also got the Mom's Spicy Chicken sandwich. Food was prepared in a decent time and attacked the Mom's Spicy Chicken sandwich first. WOW! Best tasting chicken sandwich everrrrrrr!! Moist, crispy, flavorful and spicy! Damn..... After tasting how delicious the sandwich was I was expecting the wings to be dope as well. They looked delicious as you could see all the garlic bits on each piece of chicken . Sadly on the first bite, it was a big dud. No spice and the garlic soy was too sweet and no pop in flavor. I took the order and said it was supposed to be extra spicy and there was no kick. The cook came out with a squeeze bottle of hot sauce and drizzled it on the chicken and also gave extra in a small cup. While the sauce had a kick, it did not blend well with the garlic soy. It tasted like the same spicy sauce in the chicken sandwich which was awesome, but on the KFC it did not leave the same epic impression. Definitely recommend the Mom's Spicy Chicken Sandwich as it will slap all the rest of the chicken sandwiches out there! You name the place and Steve's will lay a beat down! As for the KFC? Not sure I would want to try the other flavors as Garlic Soy is hard to mess up and unfortunately Steve's was lacking in flavor and boldness. Aloha! read more

We ordered a couple of massive chicken sandwich meals and some delicious chicken wings. The sandwiches were gigantic and bursting with flavor, easily enough to feed two hungry people. The wings were the real showstoppers. I went for three different flavors: Shoyu Garlic, Supreme, and my favorite, Snow. The Snow wings were perfectly seasoned, with a savory dry rub coating every crispy, juicy bite. The Supreme wings came drizzled in a bright citrus sauce that elevated the flavor to the next level, such a perfect balance of richness and tang. I was so bummed when Steve's Chicken in Kunia closed its doors. Steve, the owner, was such a friendly and welcoming guy. Thankfully, I found out he opened a new location at the Pearlridge Shopping Center! I had to try it, and let me tell you, the Garlic Shoyu Chicken did not disappoint!
