This shop is nostalgic for me bc I loved little shops like these with aisles of cute stuff to peruse. I ended up getting a retirement gift for a friend and a little something for myself. I'm a big kid who loves miniature stuff. There was a rack of tiny toys - functioning board games the size of keychains. I carefully selected Blokus LOL. I went in to mail something (they have a postal office window). There weren't bubble bags for shipping smaller items so I went off to Staples for one. It's a great place to shop for gifts if you needed ideas. A variety of items packed into this little store. Surely, you'll discover fun items for gifting - even if only for yourself. read more

Hallmark is a good place to get Christmas items. I also heard that you can buy items as gifts here and for mailing. I wanted to shop here for a snow globe, but most are overpriced here. They cost between $15-20 for small ones and the ones that function are at least $30. I can probably get those functional ones about the same price from Target as the small ones here. They do have good products here, but I'm better off shopping at Target or other places with snow globes at a cheaper price. read more

This store is still convenient to mail greeting cards, postcards in the mail. You can definitely still mail these articles. But you can get a free priority mail boxes and envelopes from here. However, I was gladly informed that you can deliver your packages at any local post office in your area. Thank you for informing the changes especially anything that you need to deliver to the recipient. It is just convenient to get a priority envelope and boxes at the Fremont Hub. My daughter "needed" three new Webkinz which she did not realize had been released until she refreshed the app. She ordered the two available from Steve's Hallmark, then wrote an email about the third one, which it turned out they had in stock. What a great store! I just came to pick up one item out of several that I ordered online. The rest were no longer available. However, the people here went the extra mile and were able to find the items I wanted. Everyone was helpful and kind. Browsing the store brought back so many memories of holidays past. I found more things I "needed", plus the perfect gift for a coworker. Wonderful place to shop. Great selection. Fantastic service. Easy parking. Post office services. Not sure how these stores manage to stay in business when online shopping is that much more convenient and available but glad to have small shops like these to browse around. After Christmas sale ranged from half off ornaments to 70% off non hallmark products like some holiday apparel, candles, decor, and books. Looked like most people cleared the merch quickly after the 25th when I went on 1/1. Store staff was helpful in helping me get the last available hanging ornament on the wall and went to the back room to get the original box as well. Squishmallows is probably the highlight of the store here, quite a variety available, including Sanrio ones! read more

I went today to this Hallmark store with a couple of friends. I know, very brave to go there the day before Christmas Eve! I wasn't even planning on going there today. My friends and I had brunch at Frodo Joes and one of them mentioned how they forgot to order their mom and niece calendars, which happens to be a tradition for them. They are not really brick and mortar shoppers because they tend to order more online. Well when they described the type of calendars they were looking for I assured them that Hallmark would have them. This Hallmark was very close to where we had brunch so I talked them into going there. They pretty much were resigned that they would have to give the calendars after Christmas. Well long story short they found the calendars. Also they still needed to buy their neighbors a gift. They found this really cool charcuterie board. They also found a couple of other cute things. Brick and mortar store to the rescue! They could have ordered the items they bought but it would have arrived after Christmas , so it was great that we could go to a store and buy the items and have them in our hands and before Christmas Day! It all worked out well. Also, I want to say thank you to everyone working there. I know they most likely were extra busy the whole month and they were especially busy today, being that it was the day before Christmas Eve. I know it's not easy dealing with customers all day long. I also was impressed on how well staffed they were and at how helpful the staff was. I say I was impressed because it's hard to be well staffed in retail jobs , especially during the busy season and it's been even harder after COVID, so kudos to them. I was able to find an associate to ask them where the calendars were and she walked me to where they were. I was looking for New Year's card and a different associate overheard me ask my friends so she came out of this room and showed me where they were. Also when we were looking at the charcuterie boards one of the sales associate mentioned how popular they are. It was nice to hear an associate give some input. The cashier was routine but professional. I have a phone number with them, I prefer entering my phone number instead of saying it out loud. I wasn't given the option to enter it and I can't remember if they even have the option of entering. I think that's never bothered me before because usually it's not as crowded. Next time I will write my number so they can enter it. Many of their cards are still pricey but they also have a good selection of cards that are better value. Plus I had some coupons I was able to use, so that helped. Their merchandise is not overly expensive. They have a good price range. Hallmark is a great place to shop for a nice gift because they have a variety of items to select from. They always have been a great place to buy gifts. read more

As far as the Hallmark store itself I give it 5 stars, I love it. The staff are so helpful and kind. As far as the post office goes I give it less than 1 star. For some reason the people that have worked there and work there now are so rude and have no personality at all. I don't really understand why but they are. People only go buy stamps from them or drop off mail or a package. There's no reason to be rude. read more

I'm giving this place a one star because I have never been so appalled in my life. I also felt so unwelcome I came in to use their USPS services I'm standing outside the lady unlock the door looks at me and walks back in first, and then I come in she walks away doesn't acknowledge me doesn't say anything I say good morning she looks at me with disgust and says good morning in the mouse and cheerful tone. I go to the back to the gentleman at the window I say good morning to him to doesn't say anything at all I'm not sure what's wrong I'm not sure if they're having a bad day but if you're going to run the business Please keep customer service in mind . I'm all for people having bad mornings but that's no reason to treat other people like that. I eventually decided to take my service is elsewhere after not getting any help whatsoever from either of them. read more

Sometimes I come in here to look for something I know I may need... if not then and there... but in the future.... Hey, you'll always need cards!!! Whoever thinks of what to write in there is oh-so-coolio!!! That would be a fun, fun job to have! And to be able to now mass produce cards with fancy AND homemade looking embellishments---PPSSHHAWWWWW!!!! My new favorite thing is their Gold Crown Membership Card. You sign up, you get a card for free, and get points for each purchase. At the end of the year, you get a free coupon!! Wow!!! Trying to contact them in regards to a return/exchange of a Mickey statue that my husband bought ! And being told you can't return/exchange Christmas. Never told that we could not return/exchange I went on 12/30 and was given Steve's number and been calling and he has not return my call and it is no help! The main door is actually on the otherside of the map, facing toward the perimeter of the shopping area, (East Side). At first glance, this is your normal Hallmark in size and cleanliness. The staff are friendly, but if you spend a bit more time in this shop, you'll see a lot of cool things hidden away. I like the Jim Shore Disney Collection, and they have some pieces here that are not even available at the Disney Museum in San Francisco. This is a nice place! read more

This review is with regard to the "US Post Office" prominently advertized on their sign. I spent most of the day trying to accomplish a simple goal: buying a gift card for my mother and sending off her card. Well, overstock.com lies because they do not sell their gift cards at area supermarkets contrary to the claims on their website. So, I gave up on the gift card and decided that simply getting a card to her on time would be the goal. When considering whether to drive to the actual post office off of Thornton, I remembered that the Hallmark at the Hub has a post office and since I wanted to go somewhere to get some work done, it sounded more efficient to go to the Post Office at this Hallmark to mail my card. Well, that didn't work out since this clearly not fully-functioning post office doesn't accept credit or ATM cards! That's ridiculous. I try not to make my specific needs determine a good or bad review, but I don't see how a supposed "post office" doesn't take either forms of payment. A) they are in a Hallmark which most definitely accepts these forms of payment and B) the US Post Office also accepts these forms of payment. How can you claim to be a US Post Office and not offer the same services? It was seriously frustrating and I took my business directly to Thornton even though that post office is hellish and busy around any holiday. read more

Totally dissatisfied with this store. They sent me an invitation to purchase an ornament. I in fact did order it on May 4th for shipment in October. Now that October is here, they have cancelled my order. I feel like this was a bait and switch to encourage me to purchase other items in their store of which will NEVER happen again. Horrible customer service. This is obviously not company owned. I have worked in retail and specifically hallmark and the customer always comes first along with awesome customer service. The store is cluttered and I don't understand their display window. It was woman's clothes! So I wasn't sure if I was walking into a hallmark or a clothing boutique. 2 sales associates both talking to one customer. Both ringing her up and talking about their life and one decade later I am rung up. Well one ringing her up and the other talking more to the the customer. Maybe one was getting trained but seriously didn't want to be like hey can you ring me up you're just standing there! Anyways, I was in a hurry and finally a girl clocks in and rings me up.
