This place is an absolute rip off!! My brothers truck was stolen and recovered a week later and towed by them. We got to the tow yard less than 2 hours after they got the vehicle. Do not go to this towing company. The people who work here are inconsiderate and I hope they get what they deserve. Horrible CROOKS! These people are bottom feeders. My car was parked in a red zone with hazard lights on as I was loading laundry into my car to go to the Laundromat in my own apartment complex. I was away from the car for literally 3 minutes and came back to find my car gone. This place, who has a contract with my apartment complex, towed my car in under 3 minutes. Total scam for money,. $400 and 4 hours later I got my car back. This company is scam artists that are manipulating the system to their advantage. I filed a police report (the policeman was nice and understanding and encouraged me to review this company on Yelp and report them to the Better Business Bureau). You can already tell these workers have horrible jobs when they have to hide behind 2" thick plastic so people don't strangle them for towing their vehicles. The lady at the counter is completely rude and hates her life. It is evident in the way she interacts with customers that service is not her forte. It's understandable that this business will have angry customers coming for their towed vehicles but there's no need to add fuel to the fire by being rude. I'm pretty sure if the workers there didn't have that thick plastic wall to hide behind, they wouldn't act so rude. I called my insurance roadside assistance because I needed a jump start. Unfortunately, they sent out Steve's Towing. They were 30 minutes past the estimate but that was by itself forgivable. The guy said that they were there for a green Toyota, not the black BMW that I was currently driving. It looks like my insurance messed up because the green Toyota is another car on my policy. They towed our brand new 2016 car that is two days old from my apartment complex (that I pay extra for to have my car parked inside the gate) due to the parking permit not being visible. Once we arrived at Steve's towing, they claimed that there were damages already on the car and scratches, they showed us an image of a car that wasn't even mine and filled out a report claiming that the car was in fair condition. AGAIN, this is a brand new car, we would not have bought the car if there were prior damages on it. We refused to sign the papers and took pictures of the damages. I ended up having to pay $277 to release my car. They were extremely rude and on top of that they are LIARS!! They will definitely be hearing from us to follow up on the damages done to my vehicle. My recently wrecked Lexus needed to be towed to the body shop. My insurance company contracted Steve's Towing for the pickup. They were scheduled for this morning before 8, and I got a call just before 8. They were courteous, timely, friendly, and took care of my car. I'm not sure what all these other people are expecting from a tow company (maybe entitled asshats think the world revolves around them, and that a tow truck should magically appear for them), but I have been very satisfied with them. For example, killing their headlights/engine while towing your car before you can notice what's happening. Horrible customer service. Scheduled a tow for a motorcycle through insurance company and had an appointment for 130-2. Appointment was scheduled because of specific circumstances that needed to be addressed before driver arrived. Received a call from a dispatcher to verify vehicle. She had a REALLY bad attitude and her customer service skills were definitely lacking. Driver ended up arriving at 1 which in this case, wasn't good. Driver left to answer another call and said he would be back by 2. Come 3, no driver. So we rescheduled for next day at 2. Next day, its 2 and received no verification text of driver or appt. Called and spoke with different customer service rep, Eric. Another one lacking in customer service skills and demeanor. It's 206, still waiting. Boyfriend even told me he called an hour and a half ago to let them know they could come early. Were very rude over the phone, did not want to comply with California Vehicle Code 22658 and stalled on releasing my vehicle so they can charge me an extra $52 for the 24 hour storage day.
