Went to try this place after seeing the reviews. Food was amazingly satisfying. I grabbed a burger (can't remember which one, was a while back) and some wings. Both were uuuuuhhhMAZING!! I can only post a review about the veggie burger. I have one almost every week "backyard style" and it's simply off the chain. Paired with the lime drink you can't go wrong. Stewart & Grub has amazing food! The quality blew me away. The burgers are so juicy and have a ton of flavor. I met Joel, the owner, who told me about an item from the hidden menu called "The Glen." It is essentially a Tommy's burger, but with bacon, fries, and a fried egg. I am a huge fan of Tommy's, but this wins. All the flavors worked so well together and give the burger the "Wow Factor." For a fully-loaded burger, the ~$10/burger price is reasonable. All I can say is that I really hope the hidden menu gets posted. read more

Finally came here after always lagging it and I wish I didn't wait so long! This food was DELICIOUS!!! My man and I got The "Apollo" Burger and "The Carpenter Burger". Both burgers were super flavorful and a decent size! It satisfied the taste buds. I also got the regular fries which are crinkle fries and they were also good and seasoned right with salt. read more

One of the best burgers I've ever had. This place was recommended by someone at my terminal. She raved how good the burgers were so I had to see for myself and she was right. My co-worker and I went and we not disappointed. I had the Rio (Bacon, Cheddar & Avocado... I left off the Avocado) and he had the Reaper. They use fresh ingredients and the meat patty was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Truly delicious and worth a try. Parking is tight and seating is outside only. Since firmly switching to a plant based diet its been hard to find a good burger, locally. This veggie burger is goooooodddddddddddddd, really good. My lunch mates got the Grub burger and, I think they are called Grub fries, but it all smells so good, no time for pics. It tastes so good, no times for pics. I live about an hour away so whenever I'm in the area i make sure to stop by, this place gets super busy and usually takes 15-20 mins for the food to come out but it's totally worth it! I would rate them 5 stars but the fact that they don't have a restroom for customers is a bummer! read more

Finally tried this place and I want to go back already! We had The Harvey Burger, Patty Melt, side of seasoned Fries and buffalo sauce 6 pc. Wings. Everything was delicious!!! They use 100% all-natural angus beef cooked to perfection. Their buns are toasted to a golden brown and they use their own special sauce too. This is a Newly discovered Downey gem for me and will definitely be coming back to try more of their items, that btw are named after Downey locations, streets, and people, which makes it even more enjoyable. I enjoy driving out for some wings and Stewart Fries. The food is worth the 45 minute drive. The only downfall I would say is the customer service, specifically "Julie" I believe that's her name if I'm not mistaken. She does not have the friendliest attitude or the best demeanor when taking orders. I tried calling consistently tonight around 7:30pm to make a phone order and the line was disconnected and little did I know when I showed up her excuse was "the phone was not hung up correctly" so no phone calls were even going through thus no orders were being taken. This is not my first encounter with this employee as she always has the same attitude. Other than that all other staff have been great, especially, Hannah. I hope you encounter Hannah if you ever call for a phone order. read more
