This place is such a gem! We came up to the area from San Diego and found it on Yelp. I wish I could give it more than five stars. The coffee, pastries and breakfast options are delicious and of top notch quality. I also appreciate the family owned aspect of the business and the great service they provided. We were coming down from Yosemite on the 140 and were very hungry and needed coffee. Found this shop on Yelp and decided to give it a try. They not only had great lattes, but their selection of toasts and sandwiches was great. I got the chicken sandwich and my husband had the avocado and egg toast. Both were exceptional, with lots of ingredients and flavors. We also shared a delicious toffee cookie. It was cold, so we sat inside, but they also have a nice big patio area. The shop is part of a small historic motel site, and Mariposa itself seems like a cute town with lots of interesting shops and history. Next time we will spend more time exploring!
