    Huevos rancheros

Super cute diner-style restaurant in the heart of Mariposa. To say our breakfast was absolutely amazing would be an understatement. I had the huevos rancheros and was a bit skeptical about how they would taste, but I was absolutely blown away by how incredible they tasted. The food was definitely worth the wait. We went on a Sunday morning and it was busy, the servers were working hard and I loved just how fresh everything was. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because our server could have been a little bit more attentive, but considering how busy it was, she still did a great job. The booths were a decent size, but a bit cramped to fit 4 adults, 2 kids and one toddler. The restaurant does not have high chairs, only booster seats. However, I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

Cute little farm to table spot in downtown Mariposa. Had a little wait due to staff shortage during brunch, but after we got seated, our food came quickly. I enjoyed the breakfast tacos, which were great! The fresh fruit side was tasty and fresh.

We were passing through Mariposa hungry after a hike and craving breakfast. We saw this restaurant from the road and after seeing the yummy plates of food others had gotten, we decided to eat here. This was an incredible spot with exciting and unique menu items. The portions are huge and they have something for even the most adventurous taste buds. This will be a recurring favorite for us.

Had an excellent breakfast here in December 2025. Delicious food, and nice service. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Mariposa!

Wonderful clean and welcoming cafe with great food. Farm to table is true. For example, the mushrooms are grown specifically for them and are the oyster variety! Produce and pork come from their farm 3 miles away and you can easily taste the difference. Very friendly and kind staff in spite of being short handed and very busy. Very impressed with them working so well together and be kind and helpful towards each other. Sat at the counter and enjoyed conversation with the chefs! Loved the biscuits and gravy perfectly seasoned with lots of sausage. Added two eggs over easy. A little dash of the super tasty (and spicy) hot sauce and had a great breakfast. Also had the omelet with the mushrooms and ham along with fresh fruit and toast with honey butter. Coffee was hot and plentiful. PS - Chicken fried steak is HUGE and comes smothered in sausage gravy. Definitely recommend visiting when in Mariposa!

Came for late lunch. They close early at 3pm Thursday thru Monday . They have an upgraded cafe vibe. Got the butterfly lemonade Very floral and reallly good . We shared the mushroom melt on sourdough. It was very good we were surprised by the sweetness. The flavor was good it just seemed like it could have use more mushrooms and cheese. There were several bites where it was just toast, onion and aioli... otherwise good flavor. Also got the garlic fries they were good but could have used maybe some Parmesan or truffle oil... it was ok just again missing something... believe this place could be killer just a few things could use some extra pieces to make it wow!

A lovely dinner. Super clean with friendly staff, especially Melissa. Ordered the beet salad and a coke. As we arrived right before closing we just ordered something small and light. Would definitely come back here again.

After my surprise birthday trip ( I also got engaged whoop whoop ) we stopped here hungry from hanging out on a farm and when I tell you it hit the spot. It was fantastic and as a poc and a lesbian I didn't feel mistreated. Obviously in small towns people gawked but it was uncomfortable. It was like shock and then they just moved on.the butterfly lemonade was FANTASTIC. I crave it everyday now everything was so freaking fresh. If I had the money I'd just hire the chef to work for me lol o love it all. Maybe they can cater the wedding lol

The food was underwhelming and service was fine. It was just unmemorable but a nice pit stop. I didn't like the Hollandaise sauce on my eggs Benedict but couldn't pinpoint why. Country fried steak: nothing to write home about. For two people, the bill was about $50 or so.

So I'll preface this by saying it would be a 3.5 if I could, but I'm giving the goat the benefit of the doubt. The interior is very welcoming and pleasant to be in, with a very pleasing white and green diner style seating area. The menu is expansive but not too intimidating, however for a farm to table restaurant we were shocked at how few salad options they had. That said we opted for a couple of sandwiches to get a feel for the fare. The chicken sando was a little bit of a miss for us, some fermented flavor permeated it and we think somewhere between the buffalo sauce and whatever fermented flavor we were picking up made it a bit of a flop. Nice and spicy and if you like that sort of thing it would be delicious. The Mariposa fire burger was good! A bit overcooked as we ordered medium rare and it came out medium well, waxy tomatoes and no onions were a bit of a disappointment, but our server was very pleasant and brought us some when we asked. The sweet potato fries were good and overall I enjoyed my meal I'll definitely be trying something else next time, but I will definitely give them another shot. It's worth mentioning there is a dearth of decent food in Mariposa so this is definitely worth a look.

This was such a lovely restaurant, and we all love brunch all day. We were a party of five and admittedly the booth was a little crammed for our group, but we made do. Normally I'd order eggs Benedict but by the time we were eating (1pm?) they were out of them. Instead I went for a mushroom burger and holy cow that might've been one of the best, most satisfyingly umami burgers I've ever had. (Maybe more sandwich sized than burger sized.) I did get garlic fries with the dish, the fries were okay. I think they felt like a slightly upgraded in-and-out fry, where it's somehow too potato-y in texture, so I'm sure some people would appreciate it, but I wanted something more fried-tasting. I also ordered a lavender lemonade, and was disappointed they ran out of butterfly pea syrup. That was the entire point! But the drink itself was quite tasty. Realistically I'm not going to come back here again any time soon (I don't live anywhere near Yosemite), but I'd recommend it if you're looking for a place to eat!

Came here for breakfast and it was delicious! Service was good and quick and fresh food! So good that I came back for their French dip sandwich later on which was perfect.

Inside, you're greeted with the delicious smell of their cinnamon rolls and a bright, cozy atmosphere. Here's what we ordered: * Almond butter toast with bananas and chia seeds, $7.70 - I didn't try it, but my husband enjoyed it. He said it was filling and tasty. * Chia pudding, $9.60 - Loose texture but big serving. Not bad. Good if you're craving something lighter to eat for breakfast. * Smoothie, $7.70 - Tasted like it had real fruit, but tasted a little watered down. * The works cinnamon roll, $11.50 - So delicious! Fluffy, sweet, and served warm. * Acai bowl/smoothie bowl, $9.60 - Large bowl with a good amount of acai sorbet. I enjoyed it. * Black coffee, $2.90 - Perfect paired with the cinnamon roll. Was served hot but not too hot. * Orange almond pastry of the day, $3.90 - Not too sweet and had a nice orange touch, but wish it was more flaky like a scone. I found it a little dense. After tax and tip, we paid a total of $63.53. Although there were some parts of the food we ordered that we didn't enjoy, overall we did enjoy our meal. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Seating was comfortable and there was a nice clean bathroom in the back. Looking at the local art for sale was fun too. I would give a rating of 4.5 but rounded up to 5 stars. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area! Get the cinnamon roll!

Fun and neat idea for a coffee shop, considering the town receives lots of tourism for Yosemite. ORDER * Iced White Chocolate Latte -- I ordered the latte with oat milk. It was okay. It has a good espresso flavor. I appreciated that the drink wasn't made overly sweet. The white chocolate is subtle. There are a ton of flavors for lattes, but all are syrup-based. * Iced Oat Latte -- My SO ordered this, and it did its job. Overall, The Coffee Shop has a wide selection of drinks, and its mission is to caffeinate you. Give this locally-owned shop a visit.

This same lady put her hoodie on and left and ended up right in front of us in Amanda's line checking out. These two conversed then we walked up. We said hello, no response. She kept her head down the entire time and refused to make eye contact or acknowledge us. That's fine. I ordered a Chocolate Covered Strawberries Frappuccino, and sat down. I loved the fact that they had electric outlets near the indoor seating, but, when I discovered that I had forgotten my headphones, I decided to go outside. (It was too noisy for me inside.) Luckily, it was a nice day, and I was the only one outside. I stuck around until my laptop battery died. If there were somehow outdoor outlets, I might have stayed even longer. The next time I came through, I had been planning to do the same thing, but they looked super busy. Even the outside seating was crowded. I went through the drive through (where there was no line), and tried to order the same Frappuccino. It was no longer on the menu, but the batista said she could make it for me, anyway.
