Came here on a Saturday night and their first floor was busy. They said we can go to the second floor, but we would have to order off the QR code. This was perfect since we didn't need much attention from the server. The only issue we had was that we ordered the bucket of tots and hot tea first & separately from our main meal and they were last to be brought out. Whenever you put in an order, you're required to pay at that time. So there would be separate bills if you wanted to order again. Mango sticky rice was amazing!

The food was soo good. The atmosphere was cool as well. The bartender was very slow. And the music was bad. I got the coconut shrimp with vermicelli noodles it was sooooo good. So many pieces of shrimp lots of veggies definitely worth it. The hot saki was great as always. SAMURAI SHRIMP was cooked well. The sauces was really good despite the slow service with food was really good and i definitely recommend this place.

Really good with friendly staff and cool decor. The sesame tofu appetizer was delicious and very filling!

This place is a vibe. Spoiler alert, It can be pretty busy depending on the time you go and it can be a little tight inside if your dining in. I typically visit during slow peek hours so I can really enjoy the place. I do visit during there peak hours and find it can be a bit more tighter inside and noisier. The food is always excellent, the customer service is great and the drinks are really pleasing.

Just sat down and was immediately assisted, the Habanero Margarita is absolutely delightful and our server brought the drinks within 5 minutes. We got the Edamame appetizer and coated it in soy sauce, it was hot and really crispy. We ordered Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, Godzilla Roll, Rainbow Roll and SP Sushi and Nigiri Combo but all of it turned out delicious! Especially my Godzilla Roll!! Probably the best sushi I have had in DC within the past two months The bathrooms here are gender neutral but most definitely subpar, as a woman I wouldn't sit on the toilet seat (I'm pretty boujee though). The fried oreo dessert was also so amazing!!

Small restaurant on H street, serving Asian fare and tons of tots. Service was kind, however it took a while for the food to come and the restaurant was slow. The food was subpar, and not worth the hefty price. Unfortunately would not recommend as the food isn't tasty.

I went to Sticky Rice this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the food! For sushi we ordered the Club Vegan Crunch Roll, Hot Hippy Roll, and Dragon Roll. All these rolls tasted amazing, with my favorite being the Vegan Crunch Roll. The food came out so quickly after we ordered too! We also ordered the Garden Balls and Vegan-A-Pore w/ Rice Noodles which were so good highly recommend getting these two options. Overall the food was fantastic and service was quick. The price point also wasn't as expensive and everything we ordered was Vegan which was amazing. The only reason I'd say this wasn't a 5 star place was because of the ambiance. It's extremely loud and is definitely a bar vibe. It's hard to hear the people in the same booth as you as the music they're playing is so overpowering. If I return, I'd probably order takeout next time.

The food had tasty vegan options! The only thing that disappointed me was the mock chicken tasted like it was fried in old oil.

Got into town pretty late and was looking for someplace to eat near the Airbnb I was staying in with friends. So we walked to this place and it was about 9:15 PM and they were closing at 10 PM but they were able to get us in but told us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes so we had to order quickly! The food was actually really good. The drinks were really good as well. Decent place.

Cool restaurant on H street with lots of vegan options and an especially great and extensive vegan sushi selection! Everything vegan is clearly labeled and the staff understand what vegan means. Everything was really delicious. Service was helpful and efficient. The vegan chocolate Panna Cotta was a top tier dessert. It had a burnt sugar topping that was really special. I look forward to our next special occasion at Sticky Rice.

This is one of my go to happy hour spots because they have hours between four and seven. I really like the Mongolian beef and the sweet potatoes sushi roll they have. I think it's called sante fr? The millennium is also reallllyyyyy good. I'm also a sucker for some hot sake so it's nice that they also serve that here.

I had never been here before but we decided to try it out. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was really good. I felt like the way to order was pretty cool too (you scan the QR code and the table number automatically populates, you pay for everything with card or Apple Pay and the waiter brings it over). I ordered the Szechuan shrimp and my beau ordered the Singapore noodles. The food was DELICIOUS! He left no crumbs but I took some with me to enjoy for later. Overall, we've determined we will be coming back to try more things.

Ordered takeout tonight, and we were pretty underwhelmed. Despite being there before the order was ready, the tempura roll was already very soggy. I also found some fish bones in one of my sushi rolls. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out. The menu is gigantic, so that should probably have been a sign.

I think they take reservations but we were able to grab a bar spot. Are drinks pricey? What do you think? It's a cocktail bar in DC. The drinks we tried were pretty tasty, even the mezcal one which I thought was a refreshing take. The wall shows some of the drinks on the menu and the ingredients/glass it comes in which I thought was a nice touch. Bartenders were friendly but not too chatty as they were super busy but you never waited long for a drink. The bourbon drink with the whipped honey was our favorite but the gin drink that was pink was also fantastic. For food I did try the buffalo chicken dip, pretty large and tasty (not too spicy) and loved the super crisp celery and the fritos. Clean, trendy bathrooms, nice vibes throughout the whole spot for pictures, great for a night cap or pre-dinner drink.

They don't take revelations and the place fills up fast. It's a very cute spot and feels so comfortable and fun. Our bartender was Gaylan and he was great--had great reccs, laughed with us a bit, all around great guy. The 'let me just say this' was so soo good! It tasted like a rainbow--just bright and with a really delicious after taste. I should have stopped at the rose but after my trying my friend's, i had to have one! We initially came for happy hour, but moved to the cocktail menu. The hh was a bit limited, but the drinks were priced overall pretty reasonably for the area. My one complaint is the wine glasses were so teeny. Overall though, I would recommend this bar. Bonus: cheese balls when you sit down! I believe there is also a limited food menu (think nachos) for the after work or late night crowd.

Providencia has been on my to-try list forever, originally recommended by a bartender friend ages ago, and it wasn't until a recent trip that I finally was able to work it into my schedule to come for pre-dinner drinks and light bites. The spot is tucked away in a back alley off H Street, and honestly I'm not sure I would've found it if my Uber hadn't dropped me at the door. Reservations are required and you have to put down a $10 nonrefundable deposit that goes toward your bill, which makes sense because the space is small. Ideal for 1-3 people, not a group spot. The Salvadoran/Taiwanese flavor combo infused throughout this menu is its calling card. It's such a unique flavor combination and genuinely something I haven't seen before, and the menu does a beautiful job of letting both cuisines shine without one overpowering the other. The drinks are inventive but actually well-balanced, and the food does the same thing in small, snack-y portions perfect for pairing with tasty cocktails. My (kind of indulgent, but well-worth it) pre-dinner drinks order: - Lights of the Night Market (Ford's gin, Mal Bien mezcal, genepy, pandan, coconut). A great intro to how well the Salvadoran/Taiwanese flavors play together. The pandan is so pleasant here without being overpowering. - Run Bing with Nai Nai (Salvadoran white rum, Nardini rabarbaro, Licor 43, mazapán, oolong tea, lemon, milk, served with a little mazapán candy on the side). Nutty, beautifully balanced, sweeter than I normally go for but so unique and well-made that I didn't mind it at all. - The Big Chip and Salsa (tomatillo salsa, matcha chip): So fun and so tasty, a great small bite if you don't want real food. - Roasted eggplant pupusa (eggplant, squash blossom, gruyère, tomatillo). SO delicious. A really lovely mix of salty, tangy, and sweet! I'd come back just for this. - Plantain & hojicha tiramisu. Looked like a work of art, incredibly tasty but not heavy. The hojicha flavor is lovely and light and works so well with the plantain. It doesn't taste overly banana-y, which is always a worry of mine with plantain desserts. Overall, Providencia is doing something genuinely different flavor-wise than any other cocktail bar in DC right now and doing it extremely well. The cocktails are creative without feeling gimmicky, the food is thoughtful and delicious, and the whole experience feels intimate, cozy, laid back, and personable. The staff was so kind and helpful.
