    Standard Pizza
    Mike S.

What an awesome spot! I was looking for a place to eat pizza in Philadelphia where we could dine in. After scouring yelp I stumbled upon Stina. What a find! Since it was Good Friday we stayed away from meat. The couple next to us ordered a Filet Kabob that was on special. It looked and smelled amazing. It was cooked to perfection and they were raving over it. We started with the Tryopita. It was spectaucular. I am lactose intolerant and I couldn't get enough. The Standard pizza was light and airy and fed the both of us. It's a BYOB off of Passayunk Ave. Dessert was awesome as well. We got the chef's special which I can't spell or pronounce but it was Awesome!!! Service was great and the head chef came to talk to us and we raved about his dishes. We can't wait to go back and try other things. Has a very cool thrift store vibe as well. With all the paintings on the wall. If you are in the area or looking for a cool spot, go check them out. Takes reservations but you will be charged if you cancel in less then 24 hours.

Stina rocks! Easy, cozy, and made for an intimate night. Eggplant pizza, mezze, and that fresh feta tomato salad all hit the spot. Great pies, charming service, a really good time.

Goodness, I want to eat here all the time. Wow - I can bring my favorite bottle of wine and then just order some of the greatest food - it's such a treat! We walked into this cute establishment and truly did just that, the crab gnocchi we had was so tasty and fresh - it was as if we were eating the beginning of summer. The anchovy pizza was perfectly salty and heart warming, and we had a little site of labneh that we used for dipping - honestly great call! The carrots were just so good - I love me a carrott that is glazed and cooked perfectly - this was! The service was kind and friendly, the space was cute and adorable, and the desserts were oooh so good. The Chocolate Tahini cake was fantastic, and with an espresso, even better! We'll be back!

The food here is amazing! You can get traditional pizzas, Mediterranean pizzas (called "pides", which are like open-faced calzones as our waiter described it), pasta dishes, side dishes, and more. On my first visit, I enjoyed a traditional pepperoni pizza, a spiced lamb sausage, mozzarella, and tabbouleh pide (Turkish flatbread pizza), and sides of lamb manti (dumplings) and fingerling potatoes in paprika. And of course dessert... walnut orange cardamom baklava with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and crushed Oreo wafers. The pizza dough is pillowy soft... like so soft you might want to sleep on a pillow made with this pizza dough! The lamb in both the pide and manti were spiced nicely and never overpowering. The decor is quaint, comfy, relaxed, and unpretentious. It's a BYOB so bring your own fave wine.

Everything about Stina was wonderful. The place was fairly small but the decor was super cute and the service was excellent. It was BYOB which is always a nice change from the usual high price of cocktails. The carrots were delicious and came with pistachios and a yogurt sauce (we actually ordered a second helping they were so good!) Also the pizza/pide is a must get while at Stina. They were honestly all great so it's really just a matter of personal preference!

This place has all the charm of a cozy romantic European Café. The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. The food was amazing everything we had we loved. I'm so glad I finally got here I've been wanting to come here for a while. My guest felt exactly the same way about the food and service. This is a neighborhood gem!

One of my favorite restaurants in Philly The food and service are always stellar. They usually have specials too and definitely keep an eye out for those. The chocolate tahini cake is also one of the best desserts in town

Food- the food tastes good! The portions were a little small but that's just because I have a big back. We got the glazed carrots, lamb ravioli, spanokopita? And baklava Service- our waitress was very nice Ambiance- was very good. A lot of pictures on the wall a lot like NY. We sat right by the window which was really nice

This weekend I returned to Stima with friends as they had not experienced the culinary delights by Chef and Owner Bobby Saritsoglou. Stina was absolutely packed with folks enjoying the delicious food and chill vibes. I was a little worried because I didn't have a reservation, and I know this place is always popping. We got it though, and the service all the way through was top notch! Billy made us aware of the specials of the day while we reviewed the menu. We started with the Mediterranean Dips which is a great start, to sample everything. The homemade hummus and tzatziki pair lovely with the in-house made pita bread from their wood-fire oven is delightful. Hot Tip: Order extra pita to get all the dips in Chef Bobby sent us a Tyropita to try and I must say, I have never experienced such a smooth and silky combination of cheese and filo dough and a touch of honey that melts in your mouth! From there we had the Spanakopita, Chicken Kabobs, and Pide. Our table was silent except for the Mmmmms of approval from each delectable bite. The balance of sweet and savory in every forkful was incredible! Even though we were stuffed, we tried all the desserts, because we couldn't resist. The baklava , chocolate cake and a 3rd that I don't recall the name but was another combo of filo dough, cheese and more took us over the top! While eating, we couldn't help but notice the lovely decor that made us feel like we were chilling in someone's home. Stina definitely has a home feel which compliments the food in an awesome way. Final thoughts... Go hungry. Make a reservation, Enjoy!

    Octopus and watermelon salad

Went there for a solo date for myself for my bday. I got the octopus and watermelon salad which were perfect because I was craving both. The layout is cute -- very laid back but with personality. The staff were attentive and I definitely need to come back to try the pizza.

    Ashley K.

Food was delicious and we wished we came sooner!!! Ordered the octopus as an appetizer and fungi pizza and plain. Their iced tea was delicious and dessert was mind blowing. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu.

An extra small pizza like this didn't feel worth it. I know I ordered it, so that's on me, but the combination of honey and pepperoni just didn't work, the flavors didn't blend well. I also prefer my pizza crispy, but this one was a bit soggy for my taste.

    their chocolate cake is unreal!

    Is this a byob?

    Yes it is.

    Does Stina offer Take-out?

Yes! One of my friends shows up when everything is booked and people look apprehensive for her getting to sit down, but she smiles and says my food is already made and brings Stina home for herself.

Probably order something different next time just to try more of the menu, but I'm getting that ricotta again no matter what.

While I might choose another place for takeout, when the goal is a night of pizza, wine, great atmosphere, and authentic neighborhood vibes, this is usually where we end up. The space is bright, industrial, airy, and thoughtfully designed but unforced. White walls, warm wood, considered lighting, and a floor plan with real breathing room. The vibe recalls Bucktown, Wicker Park, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint: design-forward but genuinely local. There's a great bar, and booths near the kitchen with glass windows that let you watch the staff. Our three-year-old was mesmerized, and the staff was warm and playful, smiling and waving while they cooked. A small detail, but memorable. The crowd feels local. Good music, friendly people, hip but never pretentious. It's just a fun place to be with great service, too. The food is outstanding. We usually order the chicories caesar with grana padano and breadcrumbs, and the lettuce salad with shaved vegetables and creamy oregano dressing. For pizza, we love the arrabbiata (the Angry pie) and tomato pie with sausage and pickled chilies. My wife enjoys the ice cream. A note on bringing kids: I don't think this is a family restaurant, but if your kids are curious and well-behaved, it's absolutely worth bringing them earlier in the evening. We've gone around 4:30 or 5:00 on weekends and always felt comfortable. One time, our daughter had a full meltdown, and we were mortified, but the staff couldn't have been cooler. They packed everything to go, kindly and without any judgment. That kind of grace is hard to fake, and it genuinely stuck with us. Pricing is fair for the quality of the food and the experience. Places like this can seem overrated or overpriced, but this one doesn't. It offers real value for a memorable night out. The whole restaurant feels like a microcosm of Philadelphia's progressive, creative side. There's real ambition behind it, but it still feels human and grounded, nothing sterile, nothing corporate, nothing over-engineered. Just smart people building a cool neighborhood place that others actually want to spend time in. Oh, and make a reservation. Great spot, Joe. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

The hostess took our coats (a nice touch!) and then a rotation of two servers explained the specials and we ordered. I love that the menu is on the shorter side and they rotate the pizza offerings, so even if you're visiting on a regular basis, you'll always be able to try something new. Additionally, when a menu is only about 2 pages, you know everything on those two pages is top notch, as was the case at Pizzeria Beddia. This evening we got the meatballs (didn't take a photo, was too excited, but they were HUGE and excellent) and the beef, pork and veal balls with a rich red sauce was outstanding. Came in an order of 2 but one was plenty for each of us. The Pizza we got had potatoes on it, and we added sausage per the servers recommendation, and it was cooked perfectly and all of the flavors blended so well together. We are so lucky to have an amazing (and nationally recognized!) pizza spot in the neighborhood and it's always nice when you can walk in without a reservation from time to time.

The polite smile that says "it's fine" while the eyes say "it is absolutely not." Totally understandable. No one loves a near-close order. I even acknowledged it out loud--apologized, explained we weren't from the area, and that we were just trying to grab a quick bite because it was one of the few places still open. She said it was okay. Her face said otherwise. Fair enough. Here's where it turned around. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and legitimately impressive. Not "good for late night" good--just plain good. Every bite was fresh, the ingredients tasted clean, and the pizza clearly hadn't been rushed or phoned in despite the timing. Hunger probably helped, but even factoring that out, this was a standout. Honestly, I was kicking myself for not ordering an extra one to go before leaving the city. That's how good it was. We did try to get drinks, but were told the soda machine was down. The nozzles were off, so I'm guessing it was a cleaning/end-of-night thing. I won't ding them for it--though let's be real, tossing nozzles in sanitizer isn't exactly a marathon. Still, not a deal-breaker. Restaurant was clean, but of course, they were near closing. I tipped her a few bucks for staying late, and left genuinely satisfied. Bottom line: the food carried this experience completely. If you're visiting Philadelphia and need a reliable, fresh, late-night bite, &Pizza is absolutely worth the stop. Sometimes the places you expect the least end up delivering the most. I plan to 100000% return (and it'll probably be near closing time again, too)
