Awesome bar whether you're a biker or not. Drinks are cheap, food is amazing and service is quick. Probably one of the only bars in town that still have a pool table and even do tournaments on Wednesday's that's open for anyone to join in and try to win some money. Not a bad looking server in the building. Also have live trivia, live bands, Lingerie night, and of course bike night. It took visiting a couple times to figure out what this place was about. What can I say, I'm dedicated. It seems like Stingers has changed hands a few times recently because it's had a different name at one point and the concept has been tweaked here and there. Well now, the best physical image I can offer is a newish-looking suburban bar crossed with a biker bar that happens to hire fit women wearing tight fitting black gear. Rock on ladies! It's a clean, modern place with a bunch of televisions, decent pub food and they're main clientele happen to ride in on their Harleys. They also have a shot wheel. It's kinda gimmicky but at the same point, how can you not love the suspense? Whisky? Tequila? Redheaded Slut? You can't lose. And some nights, they have live bands too. Never been here for one but appear to be ok. I debated between 3 or 4 stars. Sometimes their help leaves a bit to be desired. But in the end, I think they like it this way. And to be honest, maybe it's their thing. If they have sexy women with little clothing on, yeah, maybe I am good with it. And maybe it's just more attitude than anything....kinda like the bar overall. read more

Decent food and bands are good. However, waitstaff is rude and seem to careless that you are a customer spending money. Maybe if they were a little more personable, you would spend more money and give them bigger tips. Sorry to bother them with our business. read more

The waitresses are tatted up and generally hot. There was a decent rock band playing cover songs. DO NOT get the nachos. They are disgusting. I'm pretty sure the cheese is canned as well as the chicken. On the other hand, the burgers are quite good. read more

Been coming here for years and love the place! The fact that I ride may be a contributing factor to my enjoyment of this place. I'm surprised that some of the reviews mentioned the wait staff in such less than nice terms and described them as inattentive. All the women that work here are hard-working, pleasant and attentive. TC (the owner) and his wife have gone out of their way to create a quality establishment that serves great food and serves great drinks. Yes, it is a "biker bar" and on Thursday Bike Nights there's a bikini bike wash. Yes there's a lingerie night and other specialty nights. Don't come here expecting table cloths and water goblets. Its an ok place. The waitstaff are half-dressed and will crawl on the floor and dance during the band or dj's session for extra attention/tips. Not really sure if I would really classify it as a biker bar, but it's the closest thing Wixom has to one! My husband and I flew in for a dinner theatre performance we are doing at a casino in Mt. Pleasant and decided to try and find somewhere local before turning in for the night. We found this place on Yelp where a couple of reviews described it as a "biker bar", but friendly and cool. We decided to give it a try. As we drove up, the only motorcycle we saw was the one on the picture of the sign for the place, not usual, I imagine as it is late November and 37° here. We were greeted inside the door by a cute girl in a black stingers tank top and cut off shorts (contrary to the 37 degrees outside - lol). She was very pleasant and asked us if we wanted the bar or a table. We chose the bar and she gestured over to the very clean bar with a couple of local brews on tap and a Wheel O' Shots. (I won "Fireball"). The clientele at various tables and bar stools looked like local hardworking people here to relax and have a good time. The cover band's name was Damage Control. They had a really good repertoire of older songs, country songs, pop songs, and rock songs. There were two guitarists, a keyboardist, drummer and a female singer. The guitar players and keyboard player also sang. They had great harmonies and were having a lot of fun. Definitely a good fit for this place. We ordered the Buffalo Tenders and 2 pints of Bell's Two Hearted Ale, an IPA from a local place - Bells Brewery in Galesburg, MI. (Commercial description: This India Pale Ale has American malts and enormous hop additions that give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.) My description: it was yummy. This place has the most awful customer service I've ever experienced. I only clicked on 1 star because that's the lowest one. I called there several times to inquire about being a part of their live entertainment. Every single time the people answering the phone were extremely rude. I got an email address to send my inquiry to, but no one ever responded. When I called to try to follow up, I got hung up on after the person on the phone told me that she "had no answers," then proceeded to hang up in my face. Great way to entice newcomers! read more

Well, it's been over year since I've been here. As I look around it reminds me of Hooters for the biker crowd. The waitresses seem friendly to their regulars and are chatting them up, but their interaction with me is pretty much by the book. There's nothing to really complain about, but yet I feel like my waitress is trying extra hard to keep her conversation short and sweet. Of course, this could all be in my head....I could speculate, but I won't. I don't see myself coming back here, but I don't think they'll miss me. I only have one piece of advice : Engage with ALL your customers, because Wixom/Novi is changing demographically. 3 stars because the mushroom burger was decent. Been going to Stingers for a while on Wednesday for Karaoke since the Blue Moose stopped. Food and drinks are ok, not too pricey. Waitresses tend to visit friends that come in the bar more than serving the other higher tipping customers. Good eye candy but they should pay attention to all of their customers. My biggest gripe is the Karaoke, it's been starting later and later then one of the owners buddies will sing 4 to 6 songs so it's 11PM before the paying customers get to sing. Not going back to a place that won't cater to the paying customers. They also don't respond to emails. read more

You won't find a local bar this dedicated to great food and entertainment. The owner takes real pride in having a great menu of food that is actually prepared, not reheated. The beef stroganoff will change your life. There is always something going on. Lots of live bands, Karaoke on Wednesdays, Beer Pong on Sundays. Yeah, there are motorcycle parts on the walls, beautiful waitstaff and a Bouncer/Manager guy that always has a smile! We love this place!!! read more

Go here often for lunch, nice place. Great beer specials. Food is usually good. Sometimes hit or miss with the fried foods being overcooked or older oil. Wish they had better side options... you need to order a full basket of fries for $4 rather than being able to upgrade your chips to fries on your meal. Great staff. read more
