    Mango peach, not good
    Lawring W.

I wouldn't go back. I tried the mango peach drink which just tastes like fruity syrup with water. It's a little bit sweet without any adjustments. I asked for no ice, but the drink is already cold. It's $6+ which is way too pricey for something so plain. They have a huge menu so maybe other flavors are better, hopefully. I wish I read the reviews before getting something. It's very spacious inside and quiet. The staff was friendly.

Ordered strawberry fresh milk with boba. It was incredible, surpassed my expectations! Very polite and quick service and great flavor and texture. Really cute shop, well decorated, modern and clean.

Drinks: There seems to be quite a few interesting options! It feels like you get a good variety of different drink types versus a few other places. The drinks have a great flavor to them and you can customize the sweetness and ice amount. I do highly recommend getting 0% sweetness with a lot of the drinks! We got Love Potion and Rainforest but since they do use fruit syrups or puree of some kind, imo it'll add in enough sweet for you. The good thing was that they tasted fresh and not artificial. I was able to overlook the sweetness since the fruity flavor and tea flavor all tasted really nice. Overall, not bad! Service: Super sweet and friendly. Since I was sticking around for a bit to put the straws in the drinks and take a pic, she even said she'd remake the drinks for me if the sweetness wasn't to my liking! While the knowledge wasn't fully there yet since she had to rush to get the ingredient cards to tell me what the Love Potion was, I still appreciate her kindness. There are a lot of drinks so I totally understand. Vibe: To be honest, the emptiness of the place feels a bit awkward but it gives you a quiet place to stop by for a drink! It'd feel more inviting if they played some light music or something. The place is kept nice and clean but the lack of customers spending their time inside also means there's not much to clean up. Feels bad to say this but this isn't a con for me for the place! If you want a change of pace from your usual spot, give this a try and support a smaller business! For those who love drinks extra sweet, they even have a 120% sweetness option I'd totes swing by again to try the drinks with the 0% sweetness option because I think I'd like them better that way!

The boba was okay. I'm more concerned about the working situation. There was one guy working with all of these people coming in. It ended up being almost a 20 minute wait for 2 fruit teas. I feel bad for the employee.

Love dropping in this cool and relaxing cafe with many refreshing drinks. What makes this place so extra special is its unique atmosphere. The drinks are custom crafted so you'll be able to specify exactly what you want. Please come and support these amazing businesses-- built with love and passion!

This place is cute and aesthetic- they have nice wall art. It was VERY hot in there though, like literally started sweating and I was there for less than 10 min. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing & it's not always like that. I've never had boba so the owner was very welcoming & helpful. He gave suggestions of what to try & let me sample the boba itself (not my preference). The drinks themselves- my mom enjoyed her thai tea & I rly liked the mango fruit tea. He offered no sugar and no ice and it was just right! Not too sweet, but not flavorless either & the temp was perfect. They do charge a fee when paying with card. Owner was SO helpful that when I couldn't poke the straw in the drink top, he gave me a new straw and poked it open himself LOL

Love coming here for their boba. They have neat flavors to choose from and get to customize your order as well. I got the mango sticky rice boba and if you are a sweet lover then you will love it. The store itself is pretty neat with drawing all over the walls with plenty of seating. They also offer games there too if you planning a hang out. Unfortunately there are no public restrooms.

HIGHLY recommend this adorable spot! The service was so friendly and the cashier took the time to ask us for our boba preferences before recommending drinks! We ordered the pink panther slush and the mango sticky rice milk tea and loved both. The pink panther slush was super creamy and refreshing and the mango sticky rice was very unique! Can't wait to come back and try more drinks!

The drinks are really good. Not too sweet. I usually order 25-50% sweetness and the grapefruit tea was great as is. They don't technically have it on the menu, but he subbed it for me. He was very kind and suggested a great drink for us. The Vietnamese coffee was soooo tasty! But 3 sips and it's empty, as it has a ton of ice: but it's perfect for this very hot day. Cute packaging and great branding. I really liked it and will come back!

I believe the one who had our orders was Jason and the owner. He was very charismatic about his drinks and wanted the best one catered to the customer's tastes. I loved his enthusiasm and vibrant personality. He asked me and my girlfriend what we preferred or liked then gave us a few drinks to decide from. She got the Mango Sticky Rice Milk Tea w/crystal boba and I got their Pink Panther w/lychee jelly and icecream. All their teas come with a free topping I believe. He even gave a free sample of the pink panther for my girl to try. The mango sticky rice tasted exactly like its name but I wasn't a huge fan but my girl loved it. I was a huge fan of my own drink; the pink panther. The strawberry with the icecream tasted so creamy and refreshing. I'd definitely come back to this boba spot!

I tried the mango peach drink, but it wasn't great very watered down and not sweet. The boba wasn't fresh either. They have restrooms available for customers only and a sign indicating they charge for water. Parking is either on the street or in a nearby lot. The store has a funny name, but I'm not sure if I'd return. It was $7.50.

    So delicious!!! I loved it!!

I came in today for the first time and ordered the mango sticky rice with crystal drink and it was AMAZING!! Refreshing and the perfect balance of mango and unique flavors! The young lady who helped me was named Tiffany and she was kind and friendly! The place was clean and spacious and parking was easy and accessible. It's a nice addition to our little town! I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because they should not charge a 3% fee for using a debit card! That's a bit ridiculous! I will probably return but with cash in hand.

The quality of their teas are also regarded as high-quality as you can taste the genuine tea fragrances in the drink despite the added milk or toppings. They have unique tea flavors and toppings that differentiates them from so many other boba houses in the 626 area. 1. Pistachio Coconut Velvet (5/5) A summer/seasonal drink that is worth raving about. It's super refreshing from the coconut water, yet creamy and luxurious from the velvety pistachio cream. They are generous with the pistachio bits that they coat on top of the pistachio foam. I devoured this drink it less then 2 minutes and almost went back for a 2nd cup. 2. Tea-cube Special (5/5) This is a simple, yet, satisfying cup of traditional milk tea. It's made from a black tea base + milk + tea-cube topping. The tea-cube is made from fresh tea then made into a jelly cubes. Super creative, yet delicious. It pairs well with almost any milk tea based drinks. 3. Mango Pomelo Sago (4/5) If you like mangos and like fruity drinks, then this is a good choice. It comes with sago toppings, which pairs well with the drink. When it's fresh and icy, it's super refreshing. However, if you wait too long and it melts, the drink can get a bit too sweet. 4. Osmanthus Rice Milk Tea (4.5/5) This drink is a Jasmine tea base with osmanthus rice paste, milk and crystal boba. You certainly can taste the osmanthus flavor. My favorite thing to do is get it with their house-special tea-cubes. My go-to boba place whenever I am in the area.

The interior has a modern and classy feel. There's a tree with everyone's wishes and hopes. The store itself is super clean. The menu was extensive and had so many options. The ordering kiosk displayed all the choices aesthetically and had appropriate descriptions. I liked how you could choose what kind of tea you'd get for some drinks (jasmine or black tea!) The tea cube special sounded unique so I gave it a try. It had a strong tea taste. The tea cubes were squishy and had a firm jelly texture. This drink would definitely fall more towards the chocolatey side. I felt that it was still sweet at 25% sugar, but I'd still get it again! I haven't stopped thinking about the drink since I had it yesterday. Definitely will need to stop by again soon to fix my craving for it.

When I asked the employee how it was different from getting a black milk tea, he said that the brown sugar milk tea didn't actually have tea in it. Therefore, I went with the Iced Black Milk Tea with Boba ($6.25 + $0.75 for honey boba). When I asked for 75% sugar, the employee (who was very nice) said that he would try his best to make it less sweet. I'm not sure how other reviewers were able to customize their sweetness by percentage level, but the employee did a good job. The tea flavor was light, but still present. I think the ratio of the drink was a bit skimpy on the boba for the price. This ended up being a good thing, since I disliked the texture of the boba. While the pearls had good flavor, they were EXTREMELY soft - not mushy, as it still had some chew.

The pineapple tart is more like a dessert drink (I don't think it has caffeine), and it's probably one of my top 3 favorite drinks. It tastes like a pineapple milkshake without being blended. I…read morewaited a very long time in line for a peach drink, and it was genuinely one of the best boba drinks I've had. I hadn't gone back since because I'm never in San Gabriel, but when I heard that Chicha San Chen was opening in Arcadia, I was super excited, since I live near the new Arcadia location. Since ChiCha had a stellar reputation for their teas and quality of drinks, and since I'd had such a delicious drink at the San Gabriel location, even when they were absolutely packed and SWAMPED, I assumed Arcadia would maintain the same quality. Unfortunately, I was sorely and utterly mistaken to think that. I first visited Chicha San Chen in Arcadia on Halloween 2025, and it wasn't super busy despite it being a brand new location. That should have been my first warning sign, that there were many better boba spots to spend my hard-earned money on. I can think of at least eight different boba spots off the top of my head within a 1-mile radius of ChiCha, where I can be guaranteed a drink that at least tastes like tea. Depressingly, I had the misfortune of spending my Halloween and my cash on a dong ding oolong tea at ChiCha instead. The Ding ding oolong tea, despite being one of the best sellers at the time, was very watered down. Oolong tea is a very strong and fragrant brew, especially when you choose lower sugar and ice levels like I do, but somehow ChiCha managed to mess it up. It wasn't just me as well, my friend also ordered the Ding dong oolong tea without cream, and he agreed that it was watered down. Adding to the experience was the fact that there was absolutely nowhere to sit, despite the location being pretty empty besides people picking up their drinks and leaving. After that absolutely amazing first impression of Arcadia's ChiCha San Chen, I have avoided this location like the plague! Sadly, I received a bubble milk tea as a gift this Friday. Someone had asked me what I'd wanted from another nearby boba shop, but unbeknownst to me, had changed their mind and gone to ChiCha. I spotted the drink on my desk, saw the ChiCha packaging, and prayed against reality that they had gone to a location besides the Arcadia one, especially since the presumably TEA drink looked suspiciously WHITE. Still, I held out hope that maybe, the sad state of my past oolong tea had been an unfortunate fluke; perhaps I'd come on an off-day, and maybe they'd improved since then. Alas, my spirit of good faith was for naught. I should have know from the color, or lack thereof, of the drink. Despite being a bubble milk TEA, presumably using black tea like most traditional milk teas do, the drink is BARELY OFF-WHITE. However, don't let the vague beige-ness fool you. That beige is not from tea; it's from the brown sugar syrup that's mixed with the boba. The drink looks like those brown sugar boba MILKS that used to be so very popular in the mid-2010s, and boy, does it sure taste like it. I was looking forward to some caffeine, but at that point I wasn't even sure if they put any tea in the drink. It was watered down, I tasted almost no tea, and somehow it was worse than the Halloween oolong tea. It's funny because I could literally tell which location the person who gave me the drink went to just based on the taste, or should I say, the lack of taste, of the bubble milk tea. I asked them later to confirm that yes, they had gone to the Arcadia location. I LOVE milk tea, but I really don't like just milk, so I ended up throwing the drink away after I was out of sight of the person who gave me the drink. I only drank about a quarter of the drink. Honestly, it was genuinely impressive how a renowned boba tea chain can't figure out how to make a basic bubble milk tea properly where you can actually taste the tea. However, I will give them props for one thing -- the boba itself, as in the actual tapioca pearls, were perfect. I understand ChiCha is known for their fruit drinks, so I wonder if that's why I don't see more reviews saying the tea is watered down at this location -- perhaps people got fruit teas and those fruit teas were good. Which begs the question: if your location can only (presumably) make fruit teas decently, then why bother having any milk teas in the menu? Boba drinks are expensive, it really sucks to pay so much for a drink, expect an at least DECENT milk tea, and getting watered-down, subpar disappointment instead. What a shame; this location seems to be the only ChiCha location that's like this. I will not be going back, why bother coming here when I can go to literally any of the other million boba shops around the SGV for a basic decent milk tea??
