There's something about cold meat that doesn't do well with my pallet in terms of texture and taste. The other oddity, for me, is that there were very little noodles and mostly sprouts and lettuce. My thought is that somehow the meat got overlooked and getting heated up because I've never had a vermicelli ball with that cold of meat in the bowl.

The Rockwall roll is sweet with coconut shrimp wrapped, topped with spicy crab mix and coconut sauce. It's delicious! The atmosphere is very nice and intimate. The steak was cooked exactly to the temperature I requested, but it (along with the vegetables) arrived slightly cold, which took away from the experience. The fried rice also lacked a bit of seasoning and could have used a little more flavor. While this wasn't a bad dining experience by any means, I'm still on the search for that standout spot in the area that truly checks all the boxes. The other was the King of the Sea, with lobster tail, salmon, shrimp, and scallops in curry sauce. Both included a choice of soup and steamed rice, and both were fantastic. At $35 each (it's 2026!), I thought they were a pretty good deal, especially considering everything that came with them.
