After she zipped it up for the first time, the zipper broke and the dress was brought back to have it fixed and Nam said that the dress was too tight for my girlfriend, which was the reason why the zipper broke in the first place. We were promised to pick up the dress with a new zipper on Thursday (4/20) but even though we arrived on a Saturday (4/23), it was still not ready. We then came back around 4 PM on the same day and then attempted to pick up the dress but then Nam said he wanted to see my girlfriend wear the dress to see if there's any issues. After he saw her wear the dress, he again mentioned that the dress was too tight even though she was able to successfully zip it up with no issues and started arguing with my gf that it's not his problem that the dress doesn't fit and he won't fix it again because he's losing money (I was taken aback here). I highly recommend anyone that's looking for a decent tailor to skip this place. Nam lacks any sort of customer service skills and seems to be a mess in terms of organization and keeping promises of when to pick up garments. I will NEVER come here again and if you read the other 1 star reviews on this page, you'll see the exact same issue with Nam. He uses cheap quality zippers and blames the customer for his issues.

The spot is cash only, if I remember correctly, but they give you a quote and they let me pay at pick up. I dropped off my father's suit because there was a stain on his pants. The attendant said that it…read morelooked like a superficial stain. Either way I was going to have them try it. I knew they wouldn't go as far as to damage the fabric as they told me as such. When i went in today to pick up the pants I was told they got as much as they could without destroying the fabric. I asked if that meant they could not remove the stain. I was told no. I took the pants to the card & lo-and-behold, there is no teammate of the stain to the untrained eye. I honestly don't know if they're inexperienced or just have never worked with a Black woman's curves before, but not one, not two, but three of my dresses were completely botched. I also had a top altered and it came back lopsided. After the first round of alterations, the owner tried to gaslight me, saying they had only adjusted the strap for my burgundy dress (which was never the main issue). I initially asked for the sides to be taken in because the bust area was too big, but somehow, that got lost in translation. So I paid AGAIN, for all to be fixed and what I got back was even worse. Everything felt rushed, uneven, and downright sloppy. I bawled my eyes out because these dresses were meant for my birthday trip. The white dress? It was the most horrendous one, imagine the outline of Sarah Baartman on a modern-day garment. That's how distorted the shape was. Even after a third attempt, the seams were still crooked and the dress was unwearable. I'm now left dressless for my trip and out of money. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
