This is a nice little local coffee shop here on Dixie Highway. The staff is friendly, helpful, and likes to chit chat with you. The prices are quite reasonable and, most importantly, the coffee is outstanding. I bought a coffee they call "the bee charmer" for the first time (after a recommendation) and was blown away by it. It has honey, cinnamon and maybe a few other ingredients, but that is the one that is my recommendation. The place is kept clean and at a very comfortable temperature during the different seasons, There is limited seating, but no fewer seats than most other larger coffee shops. There is a very open feeling about the layout of the place. It has more of a family style feel to it, and it's one of the things that attracts me to it. Having had our kids in there to eat donuts, while my wife and I drank coffee, they seemed to fit right in, whereas I don't feel as welcome with them at more "trendy" places. It is conveniently located quite close to the street and around other larger retailers, and it's worth the trip off of I265 instead of diverting to a Starbucks, or some other national chain. I love this place everyone is super friendly all the time and it helps that one of the male baristas is super good looking! Over all good coffee and service! If you are unsure of what to get the baristas are always nice and answer any questions you might have. I think I asked about half their menu and they were very patient with me I love it! This the cutest coffee shop in this area, you can really feel it's family owned and the owners are really nice. You can't go wrong with anything you order the coffee is strong but it's very good. I love coffee but my boyfriend hates it but we was surprised he found something he liked on the menu and the barista was the one who helped us pick it out. He explain the different drinks they offer. If your not a coffee lover like my boyfriend try the black tea with mango iced it's amazing. What I love about their coffee the most is as soon as you get it and take a sip it doesn't burn your tongue like Starbucks, it's hot but not too hot. And not to mention I ordered 3 drinks for $10!!!! My boyfriend and I have been in here on 3 separate occasions, and each time they did not have cold brew coffee. Maybe I'm being critical but I feel like a coffee shop should have cold brew coffee. On another occasion, I asked for a cortado with a pump of caramel - I have gotten this at almost every coffee shop I have been to in almost every city, state, town, etc. I have travelled - and the person working told me he doesn't normally put a pump of caramel in cortados because it's unconventional. I was confused because no one has ever questioned my order or looked at me like I was an idiot for wanting to add something to MY coffee that I was paying for. It also doesn't make sense why a caramel macchiato and caramel latte is no problem to make but a caramel cortado isn't. The only reason I gave this establishment two stars is because the coffee is delicious and it's only because it's Sunergos. Safe to say I will not be returning and will take my business elsewhere. read more

Can't say enough nice things about this place. The owner and his wife have brought a truly one of a kind place to Dixie Hwy. I am normally a little sheepish at other coffee places to ask about a drink or a combination, and will get something simple. At Stomping Grounds, they are more than happy to walk you through the different types of coffees and serving styles. The owner truly knows coffee and loves talking about it. He talked me into trying a Chemix, which was alien to me. He did the entire process in front of me and explained each step as he did it. The coffee became more of a presentation at this point, and was wildly fascinating as he explained the science behind the process. It took like 10 minutes, but resulted in one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had. I would never have dared try that somewhere else. They have an old record player there with a great selection of old albums and they encourage any and all to play something, or even bring in your own if you have vinyl at home. Pastries and doughnuts are wonderful, brought in from another local place in the area. Smoothies, teas, shakes, soda, you name it they have it. I strongly encourage my friends in the Southwest part of the county to frequent this place. It's not often someone brings something so great to this end of town, so forget Starbucks, go local, you won't regret it! read more
