After visiting Killen's Burgers and leaving without eating due to an awful experience, I was still craving a burger. I made my way over to Stomp's and I'm happy with that decision. I ordered a cheeseburger and tots. The cheeseburger was cooked to a perfect medium well/well done and had lots of flavor. There was an ample amount of toppings on the burger and the cheese was melted and gooey - just as it should be. The tots were fried to a golden brown. Washed it all down with Raspberry Tea. Stomp's is fast casual but yet they still offer table service. Amber was phenomenal - so incredibly personable and genuinely happy that we were there. She even recommended a fried brownie for dessert, sadly I was too full to indulge but will definitely return to give it a try. We ordered a Texas Tumbleweed burger, regular cheeseburger. onion rings, licker skillet enchilada dip, carrot cake, and coconut cream pie through DoorDash. Everything arrived hot and tasted fresh. The burgers were some of the best we have had in Pearland and we really liked that you could pick a wheat bun. The onion rings breading stayed on and they were still crispy, even after delivery. The onion rings were thick cut so we would like to try the thin cut the next time. The dip was probably one of our favorite things- we were definitely fighting over the last little bit hahaha. Decided on stomps today for lunch since my coworkers recommended it. It was pretty good size portions. I got the coleslaw burger with side of fries and a drink. So the sides itself are separate as well as the drinks which makes the meal kind of pricey if you're hungry for anything else but the burger. They do give a good amount of fries but for the drink size it's in a standard to go cup nothing special but for almost $3 it is small for a drink. We had a large group at lunchtime and all orders went well except the one that was supposed to be with out mayo due to an allergy. It took a long time to get the correct order and check was a nightmare. Eight of us checking out at once with one cashier. Another cashier was checking out another guest but never helped. The patties were overcooked and dry, and not nearly thick enough. The onion ring breading crumbled off too easily. It took over 45 minutes to get our food, which is a little excessive for burgers. I have been a customer of Stomp for over a year and I have never had any issues with the service or food, however today I was slightly disturbed about inconsistency that has occurred over the past few days. The ladies on the register have always been amazing and have great customer service hands down but when i asked why my order came in a different size than it came the other day someone either in the back or a manager raised their voice at them. I have always received a certain size or larger and if it cost more I am more than willing to pay the price. The young ladies should not be held responsible or fussed at for doing their job.
