Buyer beware. The price was right and they had the product I wanted so I signed up with SoneAge to install new quartz counters in my kitchen. Big mistake. The reason other companies were quoting me a thousand less than other businesses was that they could not make my counter with out using scraps or having me buy a second slab. That cost me $1,100 The sales person totally forgot about my request for small square remnants to be used as cutting boards, then after they were made she forgot to set up the delivery. It took 4 tries to get that resolved. They cut the counter incorrectly and my stove would not fit so I had to take off work again to meet the installers so they could cut 1/2" off the edge. The materials they used to caulk the edge between the counter top and backsplash is not antibacterial and has collected mildew and dirt. Now that has to be redone too. The installers even had to borrow my power tools, they forgot their's at the office. I tried to address these issues with the install manager. I asked why any one job would have so many problems, the response was that they are short staffed. He decided to stop communicating with me altogether shortly after. I was displeased with their service so I challenged the charges on my credit card. Stone Age provided my card company with altered documents and got my claim denied. I had to take them to court to get any resolution. When they sent me my check they still could not see any validity to my claims and disagreed with the judge. They were so upset that they included a unprofessional letter telling me to never come back to their business and specializing about my motives. Do yourself a favor and never give them the time of day. read more

This place doesn't have adequate customer sales rep. I had my granite done by this company but it was very hard to talk to my sales rep. After he took my money, he was always busy with other customers (when I called or visited the store). They don't have enough sales people for the number of people. The installers didn't warn me about the amount of debris that are left inside your cabinet when they removed the tiles. All my cabinets were full of debris after they left. read more

Btw they have a nice coffee bar in the corner of the store; as many times as I had to go back to reorder my "special order" backsplash, that Vanessa measured incorrectly, they never offered me anything.... Although plenty of middle eastern people were enjoying nice beverages. There are several tile stores on that street why settle for this place. So sorry I gave them 1 penny. We have had a fabulous experience working with Lila Milbes at Stone Age Tile. She is an absolute pleasure to work with. We wanted new kitchen countertops, and Lila came to our home with samples. She has an amazing eye for detail and her suggestions were spot on. She suggested that we go to the showroom in Anaheim to choose specific slabs of quartzite, which we did, and we are thrilled with the results. All the work was completed in one day, with minimal disruption. Lila responded quickly to our questions, followed up to make sure we were happy, and came back out to see the finished work. My wife and I loved all the choices for our bathroom remodel which Vanessa was very good at helping us pick out. The reason for the low review was we went with them on doing all the work and it was one mistake after another. A month into the project she said " do you need doors for your shower, that will be extra". Wrong shower floor tiles, wrong bench tiles, crooked tiles, wrong baseboards. I could go on and on. So if you just want to buy materials this place may be okay but don't let them do the work unless you want them to have to keep redoing everything and take two to three times longer to finish the job. She would ask for a list of things that needed fixed but than they would only do a couple items and than you give another list and so on. Don't be fooled by an initial lower estimate. I'm a cabinet builder and installer in south OC and have used Stone Age on several of my kitchen remodels. The client has always been very happy and I am a picky contractor, so the work needs to be perfect. HOWEVER, like all other counter top installers, they make a mess inside the drawers and areas they end up cutting around. HEY GUYS...BRING A VACUUM AND CLEAN UP YOUR MESS. We purchased our kitchen countertops through Stone Age and we're very happy with our updated kitchen! Ohan was great with helping us choose the right product for us and very patient as my husband and I debated over colors and fabrication options. Nope, never again. I'm so tired of calling them to find out when they will finish all the countertops that I ordered.... ugh. they act like they don't know what you're talking about. Lila's a flake and just gets the sale and then forgets who you even are. Not one follow up and I'm still waiting for the last of the countertops to be installed. So again, I will call, and again they won't know what the heck I'm talking about. Yes, they threw in a small remanent with my order, but I did pay for the labor for it to be cut and installed. We used Stone Age for our kitchen countertops. Freddie and his staff of installers did a wonderful job in installing the granite. They were here two days and cleaned up after themselves! Very impressive. The only ding I would give is, being first time kitchen granite countertop buyers, we didn't know that the installation of faucets, water and gas lines would be needed after the granite install. Probably a big "duh" from those who have remodeled before - but we would have welcomed a "head's up." Would most definetly use again. Highly recommended. read more

I've read the other reviews and am somewhat confused. Some are really bad, but my experience was exactly the opposite. A friend of mine invited me over to see the installation of new granite in his kitchen. Since I'd been considering doing mine, I went over and watched. The end result was beautiful, and with him, no problems at all. That convinced me so I took the plunge. My wife and I went to Stone Age and met with Ali (who did my friend's job). He walked us through the process, explained all of the options, and gave us pricing on three different stones from drawings I'd done (I'm an engineer so i was ready). He explained that the pricing was an estimate based on my drawings, and that the final; price would be determined by the guy who came out to actually measure it. Allejandro came out to measure and he was excellent. I had a lot of questions about how the grains would go and how he would finish certain edges. He had all the answers almost before I asked them. He's probably done hundreds. I finally asked him if it was easier or more difficult to work with an engineer. He laughed and said "more Difficult". We both laughed. He also suggested that I come to the shop and help make decisions about where on the slabs each piece of counter top would be cut. I followed his suggestion and was glad I did. I got the best parts on the main slabs and the leftovers on the back splashes. Ali was on his day off so Zach jumped in to help even though I was not his customer. Great service! The installation went in flawlessly. The guys in the shop and the installers (at least the ones I got) were truly artists. The finished product is stunning. Every surface is perfect and even though there is one seam (joint) you can't see it at all. Finally, the price was exactly what was quoted. Over all, an excellent experience and a beautiful product. We read through all of the comments before hiring Stone Age to fabricate and Install the granite counter and seat in our Master Bathroom. We do not understand the reviews that were not positive. They did a wonderful job, were on time, kept all of their promises...couldn't have been any better! We had agreed to a price for the materials and labor and were more than pleasantly surprised when the quantity of granite, after measuring on the job site, turned out to be a bit less than agreed upon, and we were given a reduction on the final billing. Mind you I ran my own construction company for thirty years and I know what a good job looks like! Our sales person was Yoram Mimum and he was very helpful during the process, kept every promise that he made and was very pleasant to deal with including a tour of their production facility. read more

My husband and I have used Stone Age for multiple projects over the last few years. Each time we have used Jesus as our advisor. He not only listens, but has worked hard to find exactly what we were looking for each time. This last project, not only did we purchase tile, and granite, but we had a few pieces made on their water jet. One piece was a custom design in my entryway, that I had sketched on the floor with a color pencil. They came out, took pictures, and worked with me until my doodle came to life. I was very satisfied with my experience with Stone Age tile. I recently had my kitchen remodeled. They have a good variety and selection of granite at competitive prices. My granite was installed in a timely manner and they cleaned up after they were done. The craftsmanship was also excellent. You cannot even see the seams where the granite joins the backsplash. My husband and I visited this place a few weeks ago, and we were very impressed with the service we received. Our contact was Chris, and he was very helpful and professional. Even though we weren't in the market for the more expensive custom cabinets, he prepared an estimate for us as we waited and he even stayed past closing! I'd definitely work with them if cost wasn't an issue, as they were meticulous and detail oriented with their paperwork. The showroom was large and a little overwhelming. Tons of selection, especially their beautiful quartz countertop options. The cabinet quality seemed to be top notch as well. I purchased my quartz counter top and backsplash tiles from Zack Habaibeh on a Saturday. He was extremely helpful and his price was reasonable. We shopped around and his price was good especially for the brand we were getting. On Monday Zack called and said the manufacturer did not make the size I ordered and that I may have to purchase the bigger size. I was upset but Zack told me to wait and he'd would work something out with the manager. He came back with a deal on the larger size that was more than reasonable and I agreed to the change order. The next morning Zack called me saying he was able to put enough pressure on the manufacturer to find my original size that I ordered. He has a contact there that they did a lot of business with and that person was able to locate a couple of pieces. I did not have to pay anything extra! We needed these in a rush on top of all this and Zack was able to bring the slabs in 2 days to their store for pick up. He texted me the picture of my purchased items as soon as they arrived which was a nice touch. I never bought anything from this store before. The way Zack and the manager were able to work this out the problem and make me happy in the end really impressed me. This store went far above and beyond for customer service and Zack saved the day and my $$$! read more

Every once in a great while a company comes along that exceeds your expectations and Stone Age is it! They are the most professional, courteous & knowledgeable group of people I have ever worked with. We have a large home in Tustin Ranch and have remodeled 2 bathrooms and a huge kitchen and this company is far above and beyond all the others I used previously - no comparison - & I am very picky! I wanted to design my own table so I selected a gorgeous slab of marble and gave them the specs to build it. They were extremely patient, helpful & gracious as they worked with me [especially as I changed the specs on them]! The table came out even more spectacularly than we imagined! Absolutely Perfect! On another note, they were kind enough to store my slab for me when I couldn't take delivery on time & the guys who did deliver it were ultra-careful! Everyone who works here is just great! The owner, Roger, was very responsive to my needs and when I texted him he always texted me back immediately. Who does that! The Cambria stone is beautiful material; and, in all respects, Alex and his installation crew did justice to it by masterfully installing it from start to finish (demolition, cutting, fitting, cleanup, etc.). We hired Stone Age to do our Kitchen and family room remodeling for a home we'd just bought. The entire project involved replacing flooring (hardwood/carpet to porcelain tile) on about 1800 sq ft area including the kitchen and family room, kitchen remodel where the existing cabinets and appliances as well as an island was completely removed and replaced with new island, custom cabinets and appliances and lastly, removal and replacement of cabinets in the family room. We were looking for a company that would be a one stop shop for material, design as well as execution of the project and Stone Age was the ideal fit. I thought they were reasonably priced - I wouldn't call them cheap, but they weren't as expensive as some of the other quotes we got for the project. We worked with Zack Habaibeh and I am glad we had someone like him working on our project. Zack is a good designer and an even better project manager. He was able to translate our requirements for the kitchen and family room into reality with a great blend of his vision and our ideas. He is full of energy, was always be on top of things and excellent in keeping us up to date on the progress. We needed to move in by Christmas which gave Stone Age about two and half months to complete the project. Given the different teams involved in the project and the coordination required between them, Zack did a fantastic job making sure that the project was completed on time. A project this size will see some problems along the way - and there were a couple of hiccups here and there, but the important thing is that Zack was able to address these satisfactorily almost immediately. Special shout out also to Jim, who did the cabinets and was always very patient with my requests and had a solution for anything I threw at him. Luis and his team did a great job with the electricals, plumbing and installing the appliances - even coming back a second time without fuss to redo because we wanted the in-sink-erator installed on the left sink instead of the right. We are now enjoying the results of the project and couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. I would definitely recommend Stone Age for your next remodeling project. Our experience with Stone Age - unlike some of the reviews I see - was great. We worked with Shushu and she was pleasant, responsive and knowledgeable. We purchases two slabs of granite for our kitchen and one for a bath - and Shushu coordinated the visit to our home for measurement and the installation. The foreman Mynor and his team did an excellent job and the counters look beautiful. Mynor made several recommendations that would insure ancillary items (faucets, cabinetry, appliances, etc) would fit appropriately or maintain their appearance - and the team cleaned the kitchen and bath are thoroughly after the installation was complete. I can't comment on anyone else at Stone Age - but if you work with Shushu and Mynor I expect your experience will be as positive as ours was. read more

One Advise - Stay away as far as possible. The rating is actually a -VE 5 Star I wanted to write review earlier but there were no review sites earlier. I had horrible experience and would never ever suggest anyone to go to them. My friend had warned me not to engage them for remodeling but their selection was better than anyone else and I decided to go with them: --Wrong measurements and then wrong estimates - I had to physically measure and gave them pictures for that and then it was corrected. --Wrong piece of granite - Put the wrong piece of Granite --Broke the Granite slab and despite acknowledging it no one ever came to check. --When I put a charge back on CC - They never responded to it but instead after six months gave threatening calls. I fearing for safety of family gave the money and decided never to go with them again am still living with broken granite slab and cursing them every time I see it and at the same time kicking myself about why I did not hear to my friends advise. This is one of my worst experience dealing with business in United States. read more

AMAZING. Couldn't be happier. We went in and met with Kave. After listening to us he showed us the granite that was just what we were looking for. It was pretty busy but we were never rushed or pressured. We had our 2 children with us and he never seemed annoyed. There were several slabs with the color that we needed and he tagged them while we we went home and decided. I must have called at least 6 times during the following week and Kave was always available, helpful and offered great design suggestions. Alex came out to do the measuring and he was also extremely nice, happy and helpful. The next day we were back doing the layout with Alex and Kave. I even got a tour of the workshop. We remodeled our kitchen once before but Stone Age makes the process sooooo much easier. What makes Stone Age unique is that you only pay for the material that you need and not for the waste. Due to the design of our kitchen we needed 3 slabs and there was a lot of waste we are not stuck paying for the extra material. I checked with our contractor and we would have paid much more if I just bought 3 slabs and had them fabricate. When you go make sure you ask for Kave and Alex. You won't be disappointed.
