    London Fog Tea Latte
    Scott W.

I have been checking out and reviewing lots of coffee shops in the Milwaukee area, and what I'm finding is that Stone Creek is becoming my favorite local chain. For context, I think a local chain has to have three or more locations. Their attention to the overall coffee shop experience really sets them above many other shops. This location has some great attributes. They have friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. They offer a wide variety of quality beverages and food items. And the design and feel of the dining areas are upscale yet casual. I came to this location Saturday around noon. There were plenty of people inside, settled into different areas. This is also the location for various training classes. It was a short line to get to the register. Got a super friendly greeting. Ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (little vanilla, little lavender) and a special scone flavor, Gingersnap. Got the latte in a ceramic cup, and the scone warmed and plated. It took a few minutes to get the drink and food, which means they took the time to properly steep the tea. The latte was very good, though next time I need to remind them to make it a bit hotter. The scone had great flavor and texture, with little bits of crystallized ginger. The atmosphere was relatively quiet. No loud conversations, and nobody playing videos for the whole room to hear. It's a great spot to relax, catch up on work, or meet friends.

Swung by stone creek factory after getting off the Milwaukee Amtrak station. The place is unique in the sense that it's both a store and a cafe. They have great food and coffee options, however, the seating is a bit limited. When I went to order, it was still pretty early in the day but they were out of a lot of food options. I tried the cardamom latte. It took ages to get my order. The latte tasted weird, almost bitter, cz of the syrups they used. I was definitely left a bit disappointed as I was hungry but couldn't get a sweet treat and the coffee was bad.

The most charming and architecturally exceptional coffee shop. We later learned that this is the HQ and roastery location of the Stone Creek Coffee empire. It was a stunning find and a delightful way to start our morning. There are so many quirky items within their storefront to peruse. Some great vegan and GF options within their bakery case. The coffee selection was fun and unique as well. The cereal inspired lattes were great fun and had a wonderful nostalgia to them. I stayed classic with a drip coffee and it was smooth, hot, and strong. All of the things I needed. My sister tried the cinnamon toast crush inspired latte and appreciated the nod to the cereal by way of the cinnamon sugar sprinkle. Overall, a great experience. My only complaint was that the cup for my hot coffee was terrible. It leaked the whole way home and was disintegrating at the seam.

Classic coffee shop. Warm, trendy interior design. Lots of coffee options on the menu. I got a large iced horchata latte and the almond monkey bread. Both were kind of meh, honestly. Not much flavor from either. The staff seem a bit surly. Maybe it's a hipster Milwaukee thing. But I definitely don't feel welcome. It's a nice space to hang out in and if I wanted to sit and read this would be a good choice.

Local chain cafe in a unique location with tons of indoor and outdoor seating next to the train station in Milwaukee. I enjoyed a nice Oat milk chai latte and croissant because they have better options and a cuter vibe than what's offered in the station.

Great coffee spot downtown! Stone Creek is my favorite coffee in the city and while they have many locations around Milwaukee, this is the best one. It's the home of all their coffee roasting and is cozy and inviting. There is plenty of seating and tables where you can crack open your laptop or just lounge on. The exterior has the iconic cream city brick Inside you are greeted with a wood burning fireplace. The Learning Lab offers classes and tours on Sundays. They have a nice selection of bakery items to choose from too. The Intermodal train/bus station is next door so parking can be at a premium. Overall this is a great spot to get some work done or just hang out by the cozy fire while sipping on a delicious latte or matcha.

Beautiful peaceful warm friendly. I wish I had a place like this to sip coffee at. Love the brick and real wood fireplace. So close to the Amtrak and Greyhound train station.

I visited Stone Creek with some friends on a morning to do some work. While this location is sort of "tucked away" upon entering I was so surprised and impressed by the ambience and atmosphere of the coffee shop! the shop was very cozy, with lots of seating and table areas for people to sit, chat, do work, and enjoy their coffee and drinks. the shop was lively, with the baristas very friendly! the coffee selection on the menu was extensive, with seasonal drinks and a variety of syrups and customization options as well. I ordered a Cortado with skim milk, and the presentation of the drink was beautiful and the coffee was excellent, not burnt, sour, or bitter at all! I did not try any pastries however they did have a large selection of sweet and savory. I would definitely return for a nice coffee and environment to do some work!

Stopped in to get some work done, perfect choice! The inside is so cute, typical Milwaukee rustic factory vibe. There is free WiFi for customers and plenty of seating with outlets and tables. Coffee was great too!

We have been wanting to stop by Stone Creek for a long while and it just hasn't worked out. We finally made it work this visit and now we wish we had always gone. It's delicious! The location is convenient with plenty of street parking and the building is large, spacious with seating, clean, and welcoming. It gives off chic, urban, hipster vibes. We loved it! The moment we walked in the wait staff greeted us with warm welcome and were immediately helpful with all that we needed. Furthermore, prices are reasonable and the ingredients are top notch! We each got the black cold brew and loved the rich toasty flavor! I got the caprese stuffed bread (pretty much a savory danish) and my husband got the sausage and egg stuffed bread. We both loved our respective foods and ate so quickly that we didn't think to offer one another a bite. Whoops! We sat outside on the outdoor chairs/tables because we were sweaty from a Run. So this is an option open to folks! The outside isn't super scenic, but it's comfy, spacious, and gets the job done. We look forward to our next visit to MKE so that we can stop by Stone Creek again. It is delicious and a whole delightful experience!

pistachio cardamom latte with ham & cheese croissant
    Jessica S.

Found this gem on a recent work trip. Truly one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been inside. Loved the variety of menu items, especially specialty latte flavors I don't often seen. (I got pistachio cardamom - so good!) They were sold out of the savory item I wanted, so I went with the ham/cheddar croissant -- a little slick, but tasty. I would have sat there all day and ordered even more if I had the time. Highly recommend!

This is a great, spacious café in downtown Milwaukee! There's plenty of seating for anyone who needs to study including numerous outlets for laptop users. Everyone is really friendly too. I love stone Creek coffee and lattes, they never disappoint.

Since this coffee shop is located inside the Public Market in the Third Ward, it was very crowded when we visited. We were able to place our orders right away, but there were easily twenty people waiting for their drinks. The baristas clearly had a lot going on, yet they handled the rush extremely well. Everything still moved smoothly, and the crowd was surprisingly patient. I ordered a 20 oz iced caramel latte ($6.75), and it was incredible. It was so creamy and rich and reminded me of those Werther's caramel coffee hard candies in the best way. My friends all took a sip of mine and ended up liking my drink more than their own, which made it even better. Honestly, this was one of the best lattes I have ever had. Despite the busy atmosphere, the quality of the drink and the efficient service really stood out. I would absolutely come back the next time I am in the area.

It was I believe and 'Blue and Grapefruit' - and that wasn't my favorite as someone who doesn't really care for grapefruit that much. I got it thinking it would be diluted a bit, SO, if you like grapefruit, I'm sure it's perfect for you. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte, with a little lavender and a little vanilla, in a mug. The barista did a nice job and gave the tea a good long steep. It had excellent flavor, and the temperature was right (about 140°F). It would have been even better with a bit more foam on top. For bakery items, they had a big pile of large cookies (cowboy?), but not much else. The food menu is a little sparse but has some good options for breakfast or lunch sandwiches. I ordered a Cubano sandwich, which turned out to be an excellent choice. It came out hot, with nicely grilled bread and savory meats inside. The roasted pork was especially tender and flavorful. It came with a small container of slaw, which was a little uninspiring. Service: The person who took my order and made my drink did a nice job. She took her time and did a good job with the drink. I appreciated that they delivered both the drink and the food to the table. She was a bit soft-spoken and a little hard to hear with the music playing. Efficient, but not especially outgoing. Atmosphere: The space has a bit of an industrial minimalist feel. High ceilings with the mechanicals in plain sight, along with colorful paint and design elements. Seating can accommodate groups of different sizes, though there aren't too many spots ideal for couples. The space can be a bit echoey, and the volume of the music could make conversation challenging at times. It's a nice spot for groups to hang out, and there was a larger table where people were working and collaborating. A decent spot for hanging out at lunch or later in the afternoon.
