First visit since they have changed hands and renamed the restaurant. Came here for dinner, restaurant was very dimly lit; it was a stormy night and too dark inside - I had to use my phone's flashlight in order to read the menu. Chairs seats were worn and uncomfortably hard. Had the meatloaf dinner and upgraded to a side of brussels sprouts. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were very good, but the brussels sprouts were not as they were overcooked and flavorless. They have a handful of craft drafts along with a full bar. Have not been here in ages! Came and ordered a Mushroom and Swiss burger with French fries. Service was swift and prompt! The food came out very fast and hot. My waitress, Chyanne was delightful and attentive. I asked for a frosted glass for my beer and she accommodated beautifully. Beer was cold and the perfect accompaniment to the burger and fries. The hamburger was 2 smash burgers perfectly cooked with crispy onions (think green bean casserole onions), melted Swiss cheese and a garlicky buttery bun. Just perfection! Come to B&B and you will not be disappointed! Ask for Chyanne to be your server. She is such a joy! She suggested to try a Pepper Jack burger for my next visit. Great food! My friend and I had lunch here and the food was terrific. We both enjoyed our lunches immensely. The service is slow, though, so don't go expecting to have a quick lunch here. There were some hits and misses but overall it's okay and worth a visit. If you are hungry start with the nachos. The thick chips held up nicely and there was plenty of toppings throughout each bite. It was a generous serving. I would say they were the highlight of the meal. The pico was bland. They were out of the pretzels that was one of the reasons I came in for. Maybe next time. The brussel sprouts were a little undercooked so the flavor was good but they were a little hard. The side of sweet potato fries were tasty and decently seasoned. I would order them again. Overall the service and food were alright. I will come back at some point to try a few more items. If it's better than this visit I will update. We checked out B&B Free home for dinner. They had live music and great vibes. We started with the brussel sprouts, mozzarella sticks, and diablo shrimp. The appetizers were delicious! The brussel sprouts come with bacon. The mozzarella sticks were delicious with the sauce. The diablo shrimp were great and the jicama was refreshing. For the entrees, we got the grilled salmon and the chicken & shrimp pasta. The salmon was amazing and came with grits and asparagus! The pasta was alright. For drinks, we got the Heart of Gold and the Bourbon Smash. We got 2 rounds and the 1st round was delicious and the 2nd round was alright. I think different bar tenders made it. My faves and what I would highly recommend are the mozzarella sticks, diablo shrimp, salmon, and the drinks. read more

First time trying this place. For appetizer, we tried the Buffalo Chicken Nachos. The chips were big and crunchy. It held the toppings well when eating. The flavors meshed well together. The drinks we got were the Smoked Chili Paloma and Fig-N-Tini. Loved both. The B&B Blues Burger was a bit too sweet for me. The Spicy Jack Smash Burger wasn't spicy. Both burgers were charred on the edges- a little over cooked. But the good thing about the burgers were they were juicy. The blueberry cheesecake was delicious. Some part of it was too sweet (I think it was the topping) but the cheesecake was just right. Love it. Our server Martha was super sweet! I loved how she recommended things along the way. It helped us out a lot as new time customers. She was super welcoming. The ambiance was nice! I love the live music. The music brought me back! He made me feel like I was at a concert. B&B is one of my favorite places in Cumming. Good consistent food, fun drink specials, and BRUNCH! (yes, this is a theme in my other reviews) They typically have themed dishes for holidays like St. Patrick's Day and Cinco de Mayo. Check out their website, it's up-to-date and full of upcoming events. Menu options are good for all types of eaters. Everyone is friendly and you feel right at home when you walk in. I love the long table right in the middle of the restaurant. It's good for a big group, but also gives small groups to sit next to each other and get to know each other. Usually, there is live music during the dinner hour, which keeps the atmosphere lively. If you need a space for a larger party, they also have an event space right next door. It's as beautifully decorated as the restaurant side. read more

Also, the pretzel was good and food came out it a reasonable amount of time. The Challenges: The food wasn't great. It was passable for the area, but not well executed. All the burgers were grey and dry. The steak and cheese was obnoxiously small and they cut the wrapper with a cerated knife which got little pieces of aluminum all throughout the 2 sandwiches. I had to pick it all out. Very disappointing considering the cost. The green beans should have stayed in the can and off the menu. The lack of quantity on all the sides besides the side salad was distracting. The mire I think about this culinary experience, the more I realize I am being generous with the 3rd star. Daughter's New York strip was pretty low quality - super fatty. Only recommendation -- we got asked if we would be ok sitting at a high top. Said that was fine. Which we immediately regretted. Sitting in the bar area with a kid isn't recommended. Could have been an "off night" but, the bar crowd isn't one you would want a child around (language and topics of conversation). Consistently delicious. The staff is friendly and always happy to see you. I often get take out/delivery from here and even though the food has traveled to get to us, it is always fresh and hot and so so yummy! This little place was amazing when they first opened a few years ago. I loved the fried chicken, meatloaf, jicama slaw, peanut butter pie, and tacos. Lately I have been less pleased with the execution of the dishes even though I can tell the recipes are the same. We often try to get this to go but only to find they either forgot an item or the items are overcooked. I STILL LOVE the peanut butter pie as it is my favorite peanut butter pie in the area, but the kitchen staff needs to up their game when it comes to consistently producing quality orders. I check back frequently and for now even though it is hit or miss, I still go back sometimes just for the desserts! read more

I've also had the fish tacos.. small disclaimer is they're pretty small, no sides and pretty pricey so beware. They are tasty but too small for the price. Choose something bigger around the same price range. Pretty dark in there during the day, I feel like I'm in an old western saloon but otherwise the food is pretty decent. Disappointing. Two orders of salmon were delivered to our table, one looked great but the other was subpar. I talked to the manager who attempted to explain that they both "weighted the same". I guess one was a fillet and the other the butt. He wasn't concerned with the quality of the food (the asparagus was also cold) and certainly not interested in customer satisfaction. As a restaurant that advertises itself having "Intentional Expectations" (per their website "Intentional Expectations means serving every guest and team member with kindness and respect. I've been to B&B a few times, but today's visit was worth writing about. The food has always been good. The burger is excellent, as is the chicken cheesesteak, and of course the fries. And the bar drinks are very good as well. Today, though, we had even better service than usual. Chad not only asked a thoughtful question about one of our drink choices (causing me to change my order, which turned out great), but he also on his own suggested various dipping sauces and brought them out and urged us to try them. He was spot on, they were excellent. Chad also suggested we go with a wrap instead of a sandwich when one of us mentioned carbs, and he was spot on - the wrap was tasty without too much bread. Finally, he was attentive throughout the meal, and personable. B&B, you have a good one there. We look forward to returning. read more

Food was served partly frozen after taking almost 45 minutes to come out, the manager was cold and unhelpful, food was meh at best, the floors are sticker than a waffle house, the list goes on. Was very pleased with my visit to B&B. Food and drink were delicious. I had the spicy jack smash burger. It was cooked perfectly. The bun was soft as well. My wife had the blackened Mahi Mahi. The gravy that came on it complemented the dish. The potatoes and asparagus were tasty as well. I also had a couple of old fashioned and they were not overwhelmingly sweet and had a nice balance. Our server was nice and pleasant. She also made nice recommendations and made sure that we joined the rewards program. I would definitely like to try more things here but for my first visit it was great and I look forward to returning. read more

Wow!! I've frequented this location and seen it change names a few times. Some better than others! On my first visit to B&B I am very impressed! I was greeted warmly by everyone I encountered. I happened to ask for a draft that needed a keg change and while the bartender was taking care of that one of the beautiful servers stepped in and asked if she could take my food order. Obviously not her responsibility but definitely has the customer in mind. I ordered the Ahi Tuna that is served with fresh diced cucumber and delicious avocado! Slightly spicy! Another wonderful experience at BnB tonight! I was taken out to dinner and drinks Tuesday evening for my birthday. We had special attentive service, once again, from Emily. She is a consummate mixologist with a flair for high end cocktails that leave nothing to the imagination - just perfect. She was also our server and was super attentive. Our food came out quickly and piping hot. Finished off with a molten cake. Everyone who reads this must try BnB (although we'd like to keep it a secret)!
