While I've heard good things about this place, I've been unable to have much of an experience here. I've tried twice and both times I and my party felt so unwelcome in the cramped, crowded space that we've walked right back out. A little acknowledgment from the staff would have gone a long way. read more

Great lunch spot, or a spot for drinks and to watch the game. Last visit though was a bit harsh. Waitress was a total B. Rude, sloppy, and she acted as if she was rushed and so busy that when she RAN to the table every time she slammed stuff down, spilling beer, and dropping silverware. Then our food (cold salad, and fish tacos) took an hour and a half. read more

Went here for a business lunch. Had the French dip. Nice place, clean and great service and nice bar / tavern atmosphere. Great sandwich. I had the salad instead of fries with great dressing. My friend punted and had burger that look real good too. I will definitely go back here. read more

I like Stone Hut--the servers are nice, great greasy bar food, and an adequate beer selection. It's an interesting crowd though...I've seen some oddly hostile people the two times I've gone. Maybe weeknight bar hopping isn't such a good idea. read more

Today I am saddened. I love the stone hut and came today to watch the raider-chiefs game.... they don't have NFL Sunday ticket!! I thought this was a sports bar. We could either watch Seahawks or bull riding! Another reason for the rating is that after being seated it took 10 minutes for someone to get our beer order and another 10 to get our beer. Needless to say I am not happy with my Stone Hut today :( read more

Food was good and the beer was better, but the lack of service brought it down to 3 stars. When we came in and sat down it took a while to place it drink order. When I asked for the drafts choices I was merely pointed at a piece of paper. As a first time patron I did not feel welcomed but instead I felt a bit out of place. But the meal was good. Oh well.... it took 20 min to get drinks, and order, they were not busy.... 30 min to get the food, and everything was cold.... Poor Service, Bad Food! when I told the server the food was cold, I got the Deer in the headlights look, and she dropped the bill and walked away..... read more

They do good bar food, with some of the best burgers and meaty sandwiches I've had in town. The beer selection isn't amazing, but it has enough micro-brews to satisfy me. Of course, being a sports bar, it can get crowded during games, and the parking lot is a bit small. read more

We've always loved this place but, as out-of-towhees, had never gotten to try breakfast there and how busy it is. We'd heard great reviews of the breakfast poutine and wanted to try it. Arrived this past weekend to a practically empty place that no longer offers the breakfast poutine even though it still appears on the TV slideshow. Disappointed, we ordered different items. Which were equally disappointing. Farmers Market omelet inside ingredients were cold. Entire omelet had NO seasoning. Hash browns weren't done in the center. Our other dish had a rock hard biscuit and completely flavorless sausage gravy. Very obviously not at all fresh... canned gravy and frozen biscuits. So sad to see a once great place go downhill. read more

We had a great time here. The service was amazing, food was delicious and when we had a little too much fun, they paid for the cab ride back to the hotel. Classy place and doing a service to the community. I'll definitely come back here next time in town. read more

Over an hour from when we ordered to finally get our food. Food comes out and it's made wrong. Had to remake our nachos. .... NACHOS....... used to love coming here. This was my first time in a year or so because I moved away. Can't believe how bad the service has gotten. Btw chicken on the nachos was cold even after being remade for some reason, fried with the French dip was cold, and the gizzards were way overdone. The only good thing was the bartender, who took over for the server because he was apparently too scared to deal with us after giving us bad news over and over again all night. read more

Traveling for business. This place hit the spot. Not too over done on anything. Let the waitress order the meal and it came out perfect. Great Stone IPA, French dip that was not greasy for a change and not over loaded with onions. The fries OMG you looking for something different than the standard frozen bag of fries get the cactus fries. I will come back every time I'm in town. read more

Recently moved to the area for work and love trying new restaurants! We tried 2 different pizzas (the man and garlic chicken) and the jalapeno popper appetizer. The pizzas both had a smokey flavor that over-powered everything else on it (possibly the bacon?) and made it difficult to even finish a slice. For what you get it is VERY overpriced and they charged a $1 for every item on the to go order! Although it is close to our house we will probably not eat here again, much better options in the area! read more

When We have been to the Stonehut before, we were always happy with our meals and service. The service was great, although we waited quite a while for our food. The salad I had must have had a whole onion in it. Other wise the salad was fresh. But if I order this again I will request no onions. My husband was unhappy with his Philly-Cheese sandwich. We will give it another try, hope this was a one time issue. read more

This is definitely the best bar & grill in the WW area and the bartenders are very nice and friendly and the food is great, the bar can be a little bigger but I can see why this place is very popular among the bar and grills and it's also a great place for a bunch of friends to get together and hang out read more

Literally the worst service in Walla Walla. Every single time I go there service is slow and rude and generally just lacking. At times, it's taken 15 minutes or more to get a beer! I live and work nearby and I want to like going here as it is convenient but every time I go I'm reminded why I'd rather drive across town than down the street to spend my money. One particular time I went with a kind of large crowd (which is unusual, I'm usually there with just one or two people after work for a quick drink) and the server came over, Id'd my friend and took his order but completely ignored me. I thought maybe she just thought I already had something so I walked over to where she was ringing in his drink with my ID ready for her to check so I could order and save her a trip. I stood there patiently as I didn't want to disrupt her and she looked at me and didn't say a word. Another server came over and began speaking to her and looked at me as well. Still, neither acknowledged me. I stood there for a good while ID in hand, listening to them chit chat. after beginning to feel like a fool I returned to my seat empty handed. When the server brought my friends beer she finally asked if I wanted anything. Although I didn't want to, I ordered a beer and she didn't bring it until my friend was on his second. If she had at least acknowledged my presence and told me she would be with me in a moment, I wouldn't have minded one bit. But to just ignore me!? No thanks. Another time, most recently, two friends and I went after work once again and ordered a round of beer. Our server went to put in our order but came back shortly to inform us that our drinks would be a bit (even longer than normal) because the bartender "had to go do something". We inquired as to why there was no one else who could just pour a beer, she apologized and told us that only the bartender has those privileges. I work in the industry and understand that kind of policy with mixed drinks and stuff, but for a simple beer!? Seems a little ridiculous. Especially since that literally left no one to get drinks out while they took care of whatever it was. Had we gotten our drinks in a timely manner we most definitely would have gotten at last another round, if not 2 or 3. I would much rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

This used to be one of my favorite bars. I have been eating here for over 5 years. Ever since management changed, this place has been going down hill. They used to have the best burger in town. Patties made fresh. But now it is some kind of frozen crap they order in. Barely better then McDonalds. And now the service is extremely slow. After over 5 years of loyal patronage, I am sad to say I wont be going back. It has become very disappointing. read more
