    Beer in a themed glass

In town for a few days and decided to grab a bite to eat somewhere close to the hotel. This place is very divey, but a great place to sit, relax and eat. Our server was great (and graciously) split our check for us after dinner. Good selection of food and drinks (beer, wine, cocktails, etc). We focused on the HH menu and we were not disappointed. I had the Mac-n-Cheese and a side of boneless chicken "wings" and a beer. The food was quickly served and tasted great.

Came here for a quick lunch this week. Love their gluten free buns. I get a BLT without the bacon on a gluten free bun and add cheese and onion to make it a veggie sandwich. My mom got the fried mushrooms which are one of her favorites. Service is always friendly and fast. Can be busy for lunch and right after work. Lots of TV's to watch sports on.

We came here on a Sunday, and they do not do reservations so be prepared to wait some if you have a big party. However, for just 2 of us, we waited about 15minutes. This place is your classic cozy brunch spot. Lots of decor on the wall very much feels like a homey spot. Out wait staff was friendly and accommodating. They even helped us move to a larger table when they realized we ordered more food than would fit comfortably on the first table we were sat at. And on that note, the food portions are HUGE. We both ordered an entree of the Homestead benedict but then ordered the famous apple pancake to split. We definitely would have been fine splitting both dishes as the portions are super generous and we ended up having to box some for later. The apple pancake is massive, sweet and very tasty! It's closer to a cake than a pancake, just in thickness, but if you have a group of folks with a sweet tooth, I highly recommend getting this! Overall, this is a solid spot for brunch in Walla Walla!

The 1st time I went, not long after I moved here, I got a burger at lunch time. I remember thinking it was meh. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. That's about all I remember. 2nd time, I got their version of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked (jammy-to-dry yolks) and the cheese sauce was terrible. 3rd time was the salmon filet, which was significantly undercooked in the middle. 4th time, I got the Country Biscuit Breakfast: gravy was terribly salty and the scrambled eggs were rubber. Tonight, it was the corned beef hash with two poached eggs and a Belgian waffle: the hash was more green pepper than meat or potatoes, the "poached" eggs were white hockey pucks with completely solid yolks and the Belgian waffle was a fluffy waffle-shaped pancake, no crispness on the outside at all. The waitstaff are fantastic and extremely nice. The setting is ... dated, but serviceable. The place is still better than the truly awful Denny's in town. I really hate ripping the place because the folks are so nice. I guess I'll sum it up this way: I've never had a truly bad meal at Clarette's, but I've never had a truly good meal there, either.

While everyone I spoke to was kind, the team at Mama Monachelli's went completely above and beyond. Before they would even accept my order or take my money, they wanted to spend the weekend testing out recipes in their kitchen to make sure they could deliver exactly what I needed. On Monday, they called to confirm they had it down. I placed the order, picked it up a few days later, and wow--whatever they did in that test kitchen was pure bakery magic! The dessert was absolute perfection. Thank you so much to the team at Mama Monacelli's. Your dedication to your craft and your customers is unmatched. I will definitely be back!

You get two halves of a GF English Muffin. Each half was layered with wilted spinach, a thin slice of sandwich ham (you could see the dark of the spinach through the ham), a tomato slice, the poached egg. Both halves were then covered with hollandaise and a sprinkling of parsley. Flavor-wise it was just okay. Nothing to set it over the top one way or another. It was plated on to cold plates. I watched as my plate was assembled and then sat on the counter while a single Eggs Benedict was assembled and then a Mama's Muffin sandwich was assembled. I told my table mates my Benedict has been sitting there for several minutes and it's going to be cold. Sure enough it was delivered with cold hollandaise and Luke warm egg. I asked to have it popped in the microwave to heat it up because it was cold. I think she gave it 30 seconds and then served it stating any more time might "break" the sauce. So I ate a cold eggs Benedict. I ate all the first one (then remembered to take the picture) and then ate most of the second one. Timing for cooking needs to be addressed to ensure customers receive hot food. Maybe a plate warmer would help or just serve one at a time as the plates come up. Our final party member had to wait as his was served a few minutes after the rest of us. Again, this place has a great concept and if we were just getting coffees and pastry it would have been 5 stars but for the breakfast service, there were too many bumps for more than two.

We were seated quickly and it wasn't too busy so we were able to get a booth seat. The inside was nice and the booth was comfy. I decided to try a few items from the happy hour menu. Got an IPA for $8. Started with the k-pop wings. They were delicious and juicy and had a great flavor, and I enjoyed the sauces it came with. Also got the lamb burger. Honestly pretty disappointed. It was pretty dry, with barely any sauces and the bread made it more dry so it was hard to eat. The lamb was pretty good but wasn't the best. I also wish it came with fries or something else as a side. Finally got the Bibimbap with tofu. It was beautifully plated and had a lot of toppings but the rice was inedible. It seems to be at least a day old, not fresh, and it was not warm at all. The rice made it hard for me to enjoy as that was majority of the dish. The tofu was pretty good but overall I wouldn't return here unless for the k-pop wings. After dropping off the bill our waitress didn't come back at all so we had to wait a long time to get checked out, even another waiter had to come in and check us out because he realized she didn't come back. Kinda disappointed :/
