Great Persian food. The meat is flavorful and juicy and service is fast. I've been to both locations and like this one a lot more.

Love the cute address number sign, love the ergonomic wood benches, love the copper cups and etched aluminium plates, love the cardamom tea, LOVE the food. The meats are always meltingly tender and perfectly seasoned. The portions are always generously two-meal sized. The first visit we did the 2-person meal, which fed two adults and a kid for lunch and dinner. This time we ordered a house salad to share, two individual plates, baklava, and the saffron rice pudding. The baklava was the only thing "small." The rest was multi-person sized, and the leftovers will easily cover dinner and dessert for three tonight. We go to Sunday services nearby and it's tough not to want to eat ourselves sick here every week! read more

Great spot for authentic Persian food. Growing up with Persian food means I am very picky about what restaurants I'll eat Persian food at but Stone Stew is my go to. I usually order to go on days I don't have time to cook. The Gheimeh and Kashk Bademjoon always hit the spot, the Shirazi salad is fresh and the homemade Doogh is great. Did a doordash for this food. Food was tender and flavorful. Chicken wasn't dry at all. There was 1 piece that was a bit more charred than I like. Could taste the burned flavor but it was just 1 piece. Was so full when done. Large portions. Would recommend to try if you're in for some kabob! Ordered for pick up during shelter in place. Lamb, beef, chicken kebab/koobideh are all absolutely delicious! Super succulent and spiced nicely. I had gorhmeh sabzi for the first time ever here and really loved the taste. This is definitely the restaurant for meat lovers. I especially loved the yogurt that came with our dishes, as well as the Persian ice cream, which I had little chunks of pistachio and was flavored with I think cardamom and a bit of rose water. Next time, I'd like to try the lamb shank with polo and another dessert. Will definitely be coming back for more in the future :) read more

We had lunch at this place on Sunday. Four of us ordered 4 dishes and a basic appetizer, plus 2 non-alcoholic drinks. The food is tasty, but total bill was $180 which is way over priced. We were surprised that the Chicken and Koobideh Kabob with rice (already high priced at $25.99) did not come with grilled onions. We added grilled onions, only to find out that they charged $6 for few slices of grilled onions!! I think this place, is a rip off and I would never go back to it again. I was forced to leave less than 10% tip because of that. It is a standard average restaurant with average location and seating, I would probably give it as 2-star restaurant but they like to charge as 5-star restaurant. The food here is excellent Persian food but he service here is close to terrible. I have been here on two occasions where the service is just very bad. First time it was just one Hispanic woman who was busting her butt but waitressing 6-7 tables all by herself. She did good but I don't know why they couldn't have another person helping out, maybe they are too cheap? The second time was the owners themselves (they were sitting and paying bills). They were super lax, didn't wait our tables even though they were working and seemed like they didn't care that they had customers. My family loves this food but I think I'll pass unless I'm REALLY wanting Persian food. read more

The koobideh has a little more bite and structure than I'm used to, more like an uncased sausage or gyro texture, and is a little oilier but it's flavorful, beautiful, the portion is huge and it's reasonably priced. Bad customer service! I ordered from Doordash for a party of 10. We didn't get one of the entree's and when called them back they just said we can have the missing entree next time we order from them. Next time, we ordered told them about the last incident but they said they won't give us the promised missing item or reimburse or anything like that.
