came today 9-13-23 for lunch - there were a few people outside on the patio. our server had long dark/purple hair. she was very nice ! i got a tavern burger with a side salad. the burger was huge. the horseradish sauce on it was amazing. my friend got a thin crust margarita pizza - also delicious. he has numerous food issues due to health issues and our server let us know the thin crust was made in house and the flatbread crusts were frozen. so we went with thin crust because of less sodium. White Castle or Wawa or Walmart is your best bet before coming here. My partner and I came on Friday night. After waiting about 30min our food came in pieces. I ordered the salmon, sweet baked potato and garlic spinach. Salmon very bland, no seasoning and it wasn't wild caught. Sockeye salmon is the only wild caught salmon. Spinach was ok littler watery. My partner ordered filet mignon medium. The steak didn't look like a filet Mignon and it was cooked all the way. Dry. Waste of time and money. They did take off the steak and the waiter we had was vey nice he had been on the job for 2 weeks a and tried everything he can do it make it right but the food was just horrible. I never write reviews but i just had to. You would think this place is good from the outside but inside was dirty floor wasn't swept. They sat us at a dirty table it was just a mess. Visited for the first time last night. My wife and son have been there while I was away. First of all the environment is way better than when it was the lube. Darker, nice bar and better acoustics. They have a large craft beer selection, but unfortunately nothing I was crazy about. They need to get some Invertase, Sunken Silo and Czig for locals. Had the blue burger, was very good. Roll was not huge, just enough to keep it together. Could use an upgrade on the fries. Fresh cut would be awesome. My wife had some pizza with arugula on it and she enjoyed that. read more

Food was Ok , but they charge a fee for using a credit card, and up charge to grill some onions for the hamburger, which already has onions. If you ordered the next level burger with grilled onions and bacon they would not credit you the bacon. There whole approach just causes you to be pissed off. Is this a sign they are not doing well. I like the clean vibe when you enter the restaurant. The restaurant wasn't that busy but it did took awhile for us to even get a drink. I ordered lobster ravioli and it was really creamy but I think it could be better taste wise. Had a birthday dinner here. Made a reservation for 18 people and the owner didn't believe 18 people were actually coming. Unprofessional. Weird vibes whole time, owner kept peering over at us while we sat a table with no food menus for the first 30 mins of being there. Getting a drink was a challenge on its own, having to reorder some multiple times, and some people even just got up and went to the bar. Not the waitresses' fault though, it was one waitress for 18 people. Should've been more prepared (again why I made the reservation). The icing on the cake was when someone ordered sweet potato fries and just got a sweet potato. Lol. Have not heard any good things about this place and have had multiple friends get food poisoning from it. Unfortunately, will not be going back. Great interior. Positive upscale change from the prior restaurant. Service... 1 star Sat at the bar, received first drink. Was slow rolled for second round. Another couple sat 10 minutes after us, left after 15 minutes... bartender was too backed up trying to cover the bar and make drinks for the restaurant. I understand being short staffed. As an owner/manager you then need to only seat people that your bar/wait staff can handle . Still waiting on food... will update after that arrives...... Never received my salad before or with my meal. On the food side, halibut was great, risotto was great as well, both worth a 5 star review. Wife's chicken sandwich and fries were also very good. The food is why I gave this review a 2 star, and wasn't 1 star. Charged .50 for side of honey mustard for sandwich, yet never received my salad... with honey mustard dressing. The ambience is nice. Very factory like. Tables arent crowded together. Server was very accomodating, almost too accommodating. She did refill our drinks without us having to ask. We both had pasta dishes. He had the carbonara. Sauce was very thick and really rich. I had this burrata vodka penne dish. My wife and I went for lunch - 1st time . There must be 20 EMPTY tables . The host seats us literary next to the kitchen and wait staff station - I looked at this guy and told him if I wanted to eat in the kitchen , watch the dirty dishes go in and out and the musical symphony of banging glassware I would have made a reservation for that spot . Honestly.. Not good. Atmosphere was very nice but didn't enjoy the food. Got a chicken parm meal and there was about a tablespoon of sauce on the pasta and I hate dry pasta. (Wish I took a picture.) and didn't really enjoy the chicken but maybe that's just my opinion. Another kicker was that my wife ripped her pants on a nail sticking out of the booth, wasn't expecting anything for free but not even an offer of a free drink or anything. Was at the store and had skipped lunch so I was hungry. Kept it simple and just ordered a cheese burger No lettuce, medium, Swiss cheese and red onions. Like I said I was hungry so when I got the burger and bit into it I realized it was , not Swiss , had lettuce and jalapeños , avocado and was medium rare. So I just shut up and ate it. The staff is very friendly, they could not be nicer. The burgers are unbelievable cooked right every time. I've tried the stuffed mushrooms and could not taste any chorizo. The house salad was very fresh however for $11 you'd think it would be more than a few cucumbers and a few cherry tomatoes. I had the ribs they were supposed to be dry rub. After we were done eating we couldn't wait to leave so she brings our check and tells us she took off the drinks for out trouble. We only had three sodas. While we were waiting, we got a chance to take in our surroundings. Walls were baron and bland. The room was loud and echoey, like a school cafeteria. My husband noticed walls plumbed for switches or outlets , but not finished. I know they opened quite a while ago but it seemed unfinished. Also while we were there, a woman came in with her dog, service dog? Im not sure, but the owners wife seemed more interested in petting the dog than running the restaurant. The next day I messaged the restaurant to share my experience rather than blast them on social media. 2 days later, I received a response. A heart emoji. Wow! Yes, a . Went out last month with my mother and boyfriend. Had to wait for a table, no big deal. But to have to ask the waitress if our appetizer is ever coming out shouldn't have to happen. We received one of two apps. Second never came and we were billed. My mothers main dish was a salad that came 15 min after we received our food. Server was aweful. Food was ok. Will not be back. The staff was really sweet but the food was not great. The fries were not cooked all the way and tasted freezer burned. The salmon had no seasoning and was dry and over cooked. We stopped on our way home to New York at this Resteraunt for a quick bite. The waitresses were friendly they even brought my little dog a bowl of water we sat on the patio. I was nervous from the reviews but the food was good. I had the coconut shrimp and my husband had a chicken sandwich. I LOVE this place!!! I was reading some of the reviews, people complaining of pricing- which is ridiculous! You cannot expect for prices to remain low when everything else is going up after this pandemic. The food is very tasty, definitely worth the price! Steve and Amy are absolutely amazing people. They take care of the customers to the best of their ability. The entire staff is phenomenal!!! I visit at least twice a week. I have waited a few days to post a review on this restaurant because I really want this place to be successful. Then it occurred to me that how can they improve if they don't get any feedback. So here goes.... The atmosphere is phenomenal. It is pleasant on the eyes and the energy is good but the service is slow and uninviting. The food however leaves a lot to be desired. I have been here a couple of times. The pizza was mediocre, the burger came out overcooked yet cold, the octopus smelled horrible and was super chewy, so much so that I spit it out in a napkin, the mushrooms came out looking like meatballs with a brown gravy poured over them. Matter of fact, I tried telling the waitress that she had given me the wrong food. It turns out that there were mushroom halves under all that ground beef. Not only did they look like meatballs, they tasted like meatballs. You should know I didn't complain to anyone while I was there mostly because I am not only a foodie but a bartender and waitress as well. I would love to see this place be successful but they can't fix what they don't know is broken. I currently do not recommend eating here but I will be returning in the future to see if they have made any improvements.
