A basic cheeseburger with lettuce tomato onion was to complicated. Food sat in the wind ready for 15 minutes. I was the only customer. The 87 year old guy was busy trying to fix a beer fridge. Always enjoyed the food. Do not like that the woman at the front decided to put $5 of my change in the tip jar on her own, even though that is what I would have done myself. To do that and run to the back is sneaky. Don't think I didn't notice. I recommend bringing exact change. After careful consideration, I will no longer contribute to their tip jar. read more

Teresa's is a really nice spot for Pizza in an otherwise very limited food landscape. Let's face it, there aren't alot of take out options in this area. So when you come across a Great Pizzeria like Teresa's you definitely have to give it the well deserved props it should get.   I don't travel out this away alot anymore so this review only represents this one time experience but let me tell you the Pizza here is extremely delicious. The Meatball Pie and Sausage with Mushrooms Pie that we ordered were winners. And they don't skimp on the toppings either.   Plus I noticed a Yuengling sign in the window and you gotta love a place that serves Beer with your Pizza. Teresa's has greatb*italian tood and exceptional cheese steaks (1 "large" will feed 3 or 4 people. I've mostly done take out, which is very good. Favorites are the lasagne, chicken Marsala and penne Alfredo with chicken, although I can also recommend the frutti del mar with its clams, scallops, mussels etc. in either marina sauce or white clam sauce. All the seafood was sweet and tender and tasted extremely fresh . The entrees all come with a salad, bread, and your choice of pasta. You can dine in there (they have a limited bar--wine & beer), but it's more popular for take out.The prices are quite reasonable and portions generous. read more

The pizza here was delicious and the woman at the front was very friendly and helpful. I was glad that they took some covid precautions as evidenced by requesting people who enter to wear masks and having a plastic curtain around the area where you order food from but it was disappointing that I could see that the people in the kitchen were wearing their masks hanging from their ear and not even attempting to put the mask over their mouth or nose. Perhaps this area as a whole isn't taking covid as seriously as we are in Philly as we saw many establishments in this area where people were not wearing masks. read more

We are locals in the area, and we were recommended Teresa's by the owner of the Westgate Mall Pizzeria. Firstly, I want to say that we had exceptional service from Jossalyn. She was our waitress and juggling many tables simultaneously, but she was very friendly, helpful, and offered refills for us. As for the food...Meh. Our table ordered two margherita pizzas. It was ok. Not great. The crust was crispy and thin (which was was nice) and I can appreciate a crispy crust. But the pizza itself was sloppy and the cheese just fell off because the sauce was not thick enough and also nonexistent. We had tasteless sausage as a topping. The consensus was that there would be other pizzerias in the area that we would think of for dinner over this one, and I have to agree. Teresa's really has nothing to separate itself from the many other mediocre pizzerias in the Slate Belt region. Average is the word. read more

This place is disgusting. It used to be a good, little spot to go to. Pizza was always good. They did stromboli like no other. Steak sandwiches used to be a another go to. Not anymore. Absolutely foul. They've been steadily declining over the years, but my parents would tolerate it and I'd occasionally join them when visiting. Yesterday was the last straw. First off, check the pic. They don't even know what the top and bottom of a roll is. I could determine the top and bottom of a roll blind-folded. That sandwich is sitting and made on its side. Forget the fact that it was plain, boring, and accompanied with some cold rubber cheese. My mom was gonna just suffer through her chicken meal. She had me taste it. I said no. Nope. I was pretty angry, to be honest. My mom didn't want to make the drive back, and she's not one to waste. I'm not either. I don't recall the last time I sent food back, but this was that bad. I was not having it. This is why I don't go out that often. It's almost like the people eating there have never had a decent meal, so they don't know what good is. I wouldn't feed that garbage to my dog. I wouldn't it offer it to the neighborhood raccoons. If you've ever cooked a partially frozen chicken breast, you'll understand the next statement. The chicken was clearly cooked (probably in a microwave - not even kidding) partially frozen, then tossed in some batter, and probably cooked over a skillet. It was like chewing on hard rubber. I calmed down a bit, but we made the 15 min drive back. I told them it was absolutely disgusting and pointed out some of the issues. The one kid (he's been there for years, and he knows better) didn't argue. He simply stated, 'Yeah, I have to give you a refund'. If they hadn't, I would have just left the food there. Wasn't eating it, that's for sure. At least they gave us a refund. But we will NEVER be going back. The old dude at the front (toothpick Sal I think is his name) has let that place go down hill since he set fire to Dough Boys. (Kidding about the fire, but it's entirely plausible.) I'd give a 0 if I could. Do yourself a favor and do NOT eat here. Ever. I wish I was kidding when I say you'd be better off with a microwave dinner. But don't do that either. read more

It's the best in area for pizza/Italian but at same time theres not much in the area. But still better then anything in Bangor as well I believe for Italian. Pasta I would recommend Tortellini Bolognese and their margherita pie from the wood burning stove which they only do after 5pm. read more

so I did an online order to bring dinner to my mother's place. I ordered an ant pasta, which was very good. I ordered a chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato onion, which was good. I ordered two sausage rolls for my mother and I ordered a Sicilian special, which was my mistake. I wanted just a plain Sicilian pie. notes section. I did ask for the Sicilian to be well done. When I open the sausage rolls, they were so burnt and disgusting. My mother was unable to eat them. We basically had to pull the pork and the cheese out of the roll. They were un edible. My wife loves everything that was on the Sicilian pizza, which was not well done and did not have any taste. It's a shame. I should've driven the sausage rolls back and asked for my money back. Located at a strategic place, between Klein's farm and Del Water Gap, so you can visit the farm first, have lunch here, and then burn those calories by hiking at Del Water Gap. I am local and loved this pizza place when it was dough boys but after the transition into Teresa's the service went way downhill. Always crowded, angry people, they forget and loose orders what seems to be quite a lot. Only person who seems to ever be working is the older gentleman in the front with the pizza. Teresa's was formerly Doughboys; however, after Doughboys burned down (twice!) when the owners ultimately decided to rebuild, they changed the name. The menu is basically the same as it was when it was Doughboys but now with a few more dinner additions. Our family favorites are their ham/cappicola subs on crispy crusted bread but soft inside, sausage sandwiches, their pierogies, cheesesteaks and of course their pizza. The day after Christmas, Mom was pretty tired after having made a huge dinner the night before, so for this 2nd night of family gatherings, we made one huge order to Teresa's. We ordered the following: 2 pizzas, 1 sausage sandwich (me), 3 chicken parm sandwiches, 2 veal parm sandwiches, 1 eggplant parm sandwich, 3 orders of mozz sticks, 3 orders of pierogies, 1 order of fries and I believe 1 order of chicken fingers and fries. Dad and the younger brother drove to pick it up and returned shortly. They were so excited to have our business, they threw in a free cake. However, the reason they lose a star is because none of the sandwiches were labeled. So someone accidentally got the chicken parm mixed up with what they thought was the veal parm and a little chaos ensued. Good thing I ordered sausage, eh? At the end of the night, we still had about one whole pie left over but it tastes just as good warmed up the next day for lunch/dinner. Hopefully Teresa's won't fall under the curse of the old Doughboy's and succumb to some sort of fire. Got take out from here while visiting my friend. so I can't say too much about the establishment. The pizza was ok, nothing too exciting. It was a bit greasier than I've had but the sauce was ok. They didn't skimp on the sausage like some pizza places do which was good. My friends girlfriend got the gnocchi soren/pavora pasta and salad which looked pretty good as the salad was fresh too. The letdown here were the buffalo wings we got. They weren't spicy, nor were they saucy. They were edible... but definitely not the best wings, these were like C grade. Not worth the almost $10 per 12 price. So maybe some of their other offerings are better but this just seemed kinda like your everyday pizza spot with not so good buffalo wings. read more

Being from New York we had to stop at the abstract company down the block for a closing on our new properties. We got there early and we stopped at this pizzeria and found the food totally amazing (as we are Italian). Between the pizza and the other food we were totally caught off guard as we figured it was going to taste like cardboard yet we ate it all ..So ,if you're in the area and you're from out of state pull into the parking lot and treat yourself to a nice pleasant tasty atmosphere..I neglected to mention it is five minutes off route 80 right before heading into the Delaware water gap read more

The wait to pick up a phoned in order was 45 minutes...after getting there 25 minutes after calling as they said. Line was out the door so you sit there sweating for 20 of the 45 minutes until you could get into the air conditioning. There weren't even many people there, just horrible horrible service. To top it off, I get home and open the pizza and it was not the pizza I had ordered...The food is nowhere near as good as almost any other pizza. The service is miserable and very unfriendly. Absolutely ridiculous experience. Have been going here for years but this was the straw that broke the camel's back. Teresa's has always been the "oh i want pizza but I don't want to drive the extra 10 minutes to a different pizza place" type of night. But seriously, drive that extra 10 minutes. read more

I have never in my life experienced something this vulgar, so people need to know about this. I walked in here on a Sunday afternoon to order a pizza, and the owner I believe, was standing at the counter, next to the where the pizza is prepared, CLIPPING HIS FINGERNAILS. He did not even notice I was standing there trying to pick up my pizza, and he continued to do this for at least two minutes while I was right there. I was so disgusted I couldn't even eat the pizza after leaving there. I will NEVER go back, and I don't recommend anyone going here for anything, if they blatantly do that in the open, who knows what they do behind closed doors in there. read more

Placed a take out order. Was told 35-40 mins to pick up. When arrived 35 minutes later was told the order was not even started yet and it would be another 40 minutes. I told them to just cancel the order. Before I could even say a word, the Girl working behind the counter asked me not to yell at her because she was getting yelled at all night. I asked to see a manager and was told they were not available. I went elsewhere. Sent a message via Facebook and Email via website and was told that the person who monitors the accounts cannot do anything but give the feedback to the owner but there would be no return call or reply. Not bad for out of NY pizza. Attentive wait staff. Fast service. Grandma's pizza was good but cheese was too clumpy & can off with one bite. The Sicilian was too doughy & some of it felt like it was undercooked. Garlic rolls were right on & their side marinara sauce was delicious. Cheesesteak sandwich too thinly sliced, but flavoring was on point. All in all would stop by here again. read more
