What great service from our rockstar server, Marilyn during our visit tonight. She was attentive, helpful and very understanding. After leaving the Palmer Park Mall, we decided to stop at this nearby restaurant for that delicious cheesesteak with broccoli rabe and provolone. The roll was toasted, lots of chip steak enrobed in melted cheese and greens. $13.95. Tasty and satisfying. It was early, the place was quiet, the food great. Our go to Friday night casual dinner spot. The only thing we don't love here is the bread they give you before your meal. Outside of that, everything we've ever tried has been delicious. It may sound silly but their sautéed broccoli is my favorite broccoli. The chicken parm is consistently good, the soups have always been good, and the chicken Saltimbocca has tons of flavor. Ordered the German Pizza! It was amazing and worth the cost. Waitress was good and handled our table efficiently and friendly. Italian music playing in background was nice touch and only negative was parking lot is tight parking when you have a big suv. Great place for a nice meal. read more

Food was great. No complaints there. However, service was less than stellar. It's BYOB, we had 8 people in our party and asked for 4 wine glasses. Waitress never asked if anyone else wanted something to drink. Had to ask for water for remaining party members. Waitress rarely checked on the table. Had to go to counter to get refills on water. Stopped in here for lunch recently, and was totally surprised by how good it was! I ordered the stuffed shells, which came with a salad, bread and oil - OMG. First, we love the food, atmosphere and pleasant service. Two main issues that we have and have determined whether we go back. Sadly, tonight was our third visit to the restaurant. When we arrived at 4:30 there was only one other table of 5 - we were two people. Immediately we noticed very little heat on, making us uncomfortable (dad is 85 so this is a major deal). Then, as was during our last two visits, there was only one person working the entire front end - waiting tables, busing tables, prep work, cashier, beverages. As the place filled up, the wait was unreal. We ordered sodas and one east course each. Two hours later we left after paying bill. Way too long. This place could be great if it valued the patrons time and hired more help. The poor waitress ran from table to table to counter to phones. She never complained so we assume she is an owner or family. We won't come again and I am betting neither will the couple that left without getting food. This can happen once but we experienced it on all three visits (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday - can't imagine what Friday and Saturday look like!) read more

Went at 6 on a Friday night, was seated fairly quickly. There were 2 large parties, but service was very slow. Food was under seasoned (the bread needed salt, the dressing was all Vinegar) my actual dinner of pasta with sausage and mozzarella was good, ironically salty. We didn't get food till 7:15 and didn't leave till 7:45, and we had to go to the register to pay without a bill. Nice enough staff, but we won't be returning. read more

Stopped here on May 14th 2017 for lunch. When we arrived, we sat down and someone took our drink order and gave us the "special Mother's Day Menu". Most items were from $15 to $30. When we asked if we could just get something off the regular lunch menu we were told that we could order to go but not to eat in!!! There was one table in the restaurant that had about 6 people other than that it was empty. Price gouging like this is very unacceptable. We just couldn't believe it. We paid $5.00 for an ice tea and Pepsi and left. We could of ordered to go and sat in the car to eat but we felt this policy to be insulting. It would be one thing if they were full or really busy, but they were not. Never got to try the food but the drinks were good..LOL. What a joke.... read more

Called ahead to let them know that our party of seven would be coming at 6 PM on a Saturday. The waitress who answered the phone asked us to hold but we could hear her whole conversation and she basically made it to that we couldn't come in I heard somebody else suggest putting two tables together and she snapped that she needed that table! She then got back on the phone and said I'm sorry but we can't seat you now. It was obvious that she just did not want to go out of her way to accommodate us but I'm sure that she would have if we would've walked in the door. I just called ahead to be courteous! I stopped for a quick bite last night. There was a family of three, two other ladies at a table and myself. Service was slow. There were about three to-go customers and one of them had to wait for her order to be "fixed". My bruschetta was slightly burnt. What got to me was the religious opera music playing Ave Maria and the Lord's Prayer...better suited for a church, not a restaurant!!!!!!!!! I've been here several times, and never failed to enjoy any of the dishes I've tried. The portions are large - even a big eater will often need to take some home. Their pizza is excellent, with a tasty sauce, pleasantly crisp crust, and a good variety of toppings. Their hot subs are fantastic, with the chicken italia's balsamic glaze standing out. Their dinner entrees, particularly the seafood and chicken dishes, are delicious - my favorites are the pasta pescatore and pollo scarpiello. And the mozzarella caprese appetizer is delightful, with enough balsamic to accent the flavors, not overwhelm the fresh mozzarella, peppers, tomato, and prosciutto. In addition, the service is very friendly and the restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming feel. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes good italian food. read more

This is a local favorite of ours. The food is VERY fresh and delicious! Could use a bit more seasoning, but added Parmesan and garlic bring it to top notch! Love the dinners and they deliver!
