This is a hidden gem, literally. I passed it several times before seeing the location and security sitting outside. We parked around the corner and had to pay the meter $1.50 for the hour. It kept forcing us to download the app and add $25 to park when we aren't even NY residents and don't intend on coming back. Glad we had coins. In front of the building, a gentleman is sitting outside and has to punch in a code to let you in. Once in, you smell exactly where you are . There were several TVs playing sports and they were blaring old-school rap, I loved it. 2 people were working there, the cook and the person who takes your order and delivers it to you. Everything is about $10 and we pretty much had to try everything. The soda they open and infuse it for you. The chicken wings (BBQ) were really good, nice and big, crunchy and the sauce was good. The pizza was OK, had a sweet taste to it, wasn't my favorite. The garlic knots were good, the flavor was on point. We also had the icy which is infused as well. The table was prepped for you to relax, rolling tray and ashtray along with parmesan cheese, chili flakes, oregano, and pepper. The food and experience was good. I didn't wall out feeling the way I anticipated but it was still an overall fun and good experience.

It's a bit hidden but once you step inside you know exactly why. This location is newly opened for about a few months now. It's not like the one in the city where there's a set price for a person, you can just order whatever you want on the menu. We had gotten to drink the grape soda and watermelon slush. Both were really good but I do like the grape soda a tad bit more. It was just 3 people and we got a pepperoni pizza and an order of wings. There was more than enough food. I'm a bit of a lightweight so 1 slice and 1 wing had gotten me type wavy lol. We came in on Sunday afternoon and it was not crazy at all. Just the type of vibe we was looking for. I would def recommend the pizza here especially the pepperoni with the honey drizzle is chefs kiss.

Nothing wrong but just a pretty typical slice of nyc pizza. For a place that does slices there's a LOT of searing options, both inside, and this area out the back which is pretty good.

The GOAT of Bronx Pizza. Period…read more If you want to know what real New York City pizza is supposed to taste like, stop looking and get to Louie & Ernie's on Crosby Ave. This isn't just a meal; it's a Bronx institution. The Vibe: Old School & Authentic This place is as "old school" as it gets. It's located in the basement of a house, and walking in feels like stepping back into 1959. There are no fancy decorations or "artisanal" gimmicks--just the smell of fresh dough and a gas oven that's probably seen more history than most museums. * Pro Tip: It is CASH ONLY. Don't be that person who gets to the counter with a card; come prepared. The Pizza: The Best in the Bronx I've had a lot of pizza, but this is easily the best in the borough. * The Crust: Paper-thin, perfectly salty, and has that signature "Bronx fold" with just the right amount of char on the bottom. * The Sausage: This is their claim to fame. They use huge, fresh chunks of sausage that are packed with flavor. It's heavy, it's greasy in the best way possible, and it's legendary. * The Sauce/Cheese: The ratio is perfection. The sauce is tangy and bright, and the mozzarella is creamy and never "rubbery." The Service The staff here are exactly what you want in a legendary neighborhood spot--friendly, fast, and no-nonsense. They keep the line moving, but they treat you like a regular even if it's your first time. Verdict: 10/10. It's simple, it's classic, and it's the king of the Bronx. If you haven't been, you're doing NYC wrong.
