For the area this is good Italian at a fair price. Friendly on the phone but they did not mention specific details between small and large orders of entrees... the francese is great. Delivery is fast...I call them directly, and they always arrive quick. I've tried their cheese pie and their margherita pizza, and although their cheese pizza is fine, their margherita pizza is my favorite, perhaps of all time. First off....I'm not a big pizza fan (nor Italian food for that matter). I'm from the old-school, where back in the day in the south Bronx they used to have THE BEST pizza (I suppose Brooklyn can also claim this title). Fast forward to modern day & the previous 20+ years and there is no pizza shop to match that greatness...until i was introduced to Venezia about 4-5 years ago. I was in shock at how their pizza reminded me of the back in the day kind. I've been going back every chance I get. My go-to items are the plain slice (extra crispy), their eggplant slice with a side of marinara, and beef patties. (Great...my mouth is salivating right now :) The place is very small and sort of hidden, which is good because it's definitely one of those hidden gems. The owner and his staff are super cool and always polite. Unfortunately, I recently moved and the last time I went, I told him (as I've told him before) you have THE BEST pizza period and I will miss it very much! I've had a few over the last couple weeks and they are really quite yummy (and large). Last night, I ordered their mozzarella sticks and their meat lasagna. Mozzarella sticks were NOT microwaved, but cooked to a crisp in an oven, AS THEY SHOULD BE! Their lasagna was seriously awesome. Large slices of pizza stacked, fork and knife needed if you're trying to keep semi- clean. Salad pizza is slamming!!!! And I feel I've gotten my source of nutrients and vitamins from my greens! =) Even their regular pizza is slamminggggg!!!! Salads are great. My coworkers usually get them.
