I was surprise with the quality of food. It was pretty good for a fast food type atmosphere. My husband and I had the pasta and chicken, soup and salad. The bread sticks were awesome! They were all good with big portions, we couldn't eat it all. I would definitely come back and try the Tri-Tip since everyone else was trying it. I like these type of restaurant especially for my husband who like mostly American type food so I would put this on my list to be a regular. I went here with a friend and ordered the grilled chicken combo with the tri tip and it was not that much for how much I spent. The chicken was very oily and there was only about 5 pieces of tri-tip. I've officially given up on this location of Stonefire Grill. Seriously, every time I come here I get awful service...a screwed up order, a screw-up of the fix to my screwed up order, forgotten orders, etc. Something always goes wrong for me specifically, no matter what size group I come with. AND, they took my favorite item of their menu, some southwestern wrap that they either removed entirely or turned into a salad that is not the same as it was before. Don't get me wrong, the food and bbq is typically quite good here, but I am cursed by the service at this location and will never go again. I recently attended an event that had food catered from Stonefire Grill. I was very much impressed with the food. It was better than I remember it being from my first visit. The Greek salad is tasty, but maybe a little too overloaded with dressing. The lemon chicken was moist and flavorful. I always go to this place during my lunch hour because it's close by and the lunch specials are pretty awesome. I really liked it until recently when I found material that is used to wash all DIRTY dishes in my salad. Pretty disgusting-not to mention unsanitary and unsafe. Had I swallowed some of it I could have easily choked. Not sure if this place is the cleanest. Many other options close by such as Islands, Chipotle, Veggie Grill and Wing Stop! We shared the the shrimp with quinoa and an order of bread sticks. This is the first time I have had quinoa, and it is delicious! The shrimp were well sized, tender and flavorful. The dish comes with roasted garlic and an olive oil/lemon sauce with red pepper flakes and parsley(?). The bread sticks perfectly accompanied the shrimp dish. We will definitely go here again. There was one drawback. The shrimp dish comes in three versions, a small (with eight shrimp), as a meal (with salad), and a large (with sixteen shrimp). Our meal only had 15 shrimp. I am sure if I had said something another shrimp would have been provided, but I did't feel like it, and they should have caught it, so one star off for not catching it. I was introduced to this place my freshman year and have loved it since! It's a good place to go with a group. The tri tip is amazing! But my favorites are still the mashed potatoes and the salad because the basics are the best. The pizza here is also really good. I usually get the medium sized. That's enough to feed to people. The prices are fair especially if you split amongst your group. The service here is almost always on point as well. They do offer pick up order which is nice cause this place can get crowded. read more

I've been going to Stonefire for years and they're amazing! Especially great for large groups! Pro tip: Get the "stimulus" deal. Easily feeds 3-4 people as you get a pizza, a meat, salad, and breadsticks. The food is always delicious. All the staff is super friendly. I've come with large groups (of 15+ people) and their service is just as good if you go with a small group of 2 people. Which is super rare. This past weekend, when we came in our pizza took an extra 20 minutes? This was the first time anything like this had ever happened. Just when we started to get a irritated the server appeared with our pizza. Was super friendly, apologized for our wait, and offered us a free dessert for having to wait so long. We were starving and decided to come here since it has good reviews. We ordered the baby back ribs, steak and cheese sandwich, and Mac and cheese. I liked the ribs, my bf hated the steak and cheese sandwich and the Mac and cheese was decent. However there was a cute little dead lady bug in my salad and I just completely lost my appetite after that...I'm sure it was in their bulk lettuce packaging and didn't fly into the kitchen from outside which is why I wasn't really mad about it. This place has been there for years, and friends have recommended it, but we'd never tried it before now. The fact that it's been there for so long is an indicator of it's long-term quality, value, and popularity. Walked in, and there was enough space to peruse their menu without feeling like you're holding everybody else up. This is a great challenge that is handled quite well. Their staff is super friendly, helpful, and not pushy. They have been trained well, despite probably a high turnover as teenagers. Between the three of us, we ordered a combination tri-tip and ribs, with a cartwheel salad, and a half chicken dinner with a cartwheel salad. The meals came with their famous bread sticks. All of the meat was tender and juicy. The tri-tip lives up to the hype. It came with a scoop of what we first thought was herb butter, but turned out to be some kind of cheese mixture. The ribs fell off the bone. The lemon garlic chicken had a heap of garlic chunks that should provide vampire insurance. I really like this place, but have to knock off a star because something always lacks every time. My to go items are the cartwheel or Caesar salad, tomesto, mac and cheese and breadsticks. Service can be super slow at times and often they forget to bring out an item or bring it super late (like at the end of the meal). Once they forgot to bring my my teriyaki salmon. Both hubby and I had finished our salad and breadsticks and he also finished his pasta when we asked about my salmon. Turns out they forgot to make it for us so since we were at the end of our meal, we asked them to refund us. On more than one occasion they have forgot our breadsticks (come on now!), and most recently (last week) I had placed an order for pickup for a kids meal and cartwheel salad. Kids meal comes with drink, pasta and breadstick. I got home and did not find my child's drink nor were there any utensils or napkins packed in our order. I went here many years ago and really didn't like what i ordered. I revisited just a couple weeks ago with a friend. He has been to this place several times so had a better idea of what is good here. We ordered the tri tip for 2 special and boy was it good . You can't beat the price at 2 for $19.99. The tri tip with BBQ sauce was very good. We ordered a caesar salad to share and also a side of quinoa. Both were good though the salad was a bit light on the dressing. They will bring more for you if asked. Anyway i am now a fan. It is a very noisy place as since it is more family oriented there are a lot of noisy kids. Just know what to expect. I knocked off a star for that. This is one of my go to spots. The food is always good and the service always great. The servers are always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. This really goes a long way and keeps me coming back. The parking is always abundant and the restrooms clean. I love the kale salad. The tritip bbq salad and the tritip bbq pizza. I get there in 15 min, my salad is ready to go. I take it home and enjoy the Lakers. The salad is only $7, and if you don't drench it with the ranch they give you, you have a healthy, filling, very satisfying dinner. Tip: They don't give you utensils - you have to ask for them. Been here before so I can't complain much. I love the food and the generous servings. Tonight was a disappointment though. Our server was kinda inattentive. First she brought me the wrong wine.
