After trying several other pizza offerings around the Stoneham area, I'm sad to say that Stoneham Pizza easliy wins the spot as my least favorite of them all. Although I will give them a few props for friendliness and fast delivery. It's no secret that I'm a thin crust type of gal, and this crust was as thick as it gets. The crust had absolutely no flavor, the sparse sauce was very sweet and the mushrooms were from a can - not fresh. The cheese was generously piled on, but again, there was no additional seasoning on the pizza, except the overwhelming amount of grease. A few hours after eating, I actually got a stomach ache, which is never a good sign. I'm sorry to say, I will not be returning to Stoneham Pizza. read more

Old, tired looking hole in the wall with some kick butt pizza. I travel for work and use Yelp to avoid the mundane chains and to find places like this. The inside has a few 80s style booths if you want to eat in but seems like most of their business is pickup and delivery. I ordered the ham and mushroom calzone. It's huge. It's tasty. It's awesome. Last time I was in Boston I had spinach and mushroom. It's so large I could only eat half. Definitely priced well at $10.65. It's really that good. Ask for extra sauce on the side. The food is very good. I went here when the folks at Johnny's Famous were on vacation, and the pizza is definitely on par with, if not a bit better than, Johnny's. The service is mediocre unless you're a regular (which I am not). It's a good local spot, but seemed to be running especially inefficiently on a moderately busy Friday night. It's OK if the food will take 50 minutes; just don't tell me it'll be done in 20 and throw it in the oven when I show up. That being said: don't order delivery from here. I can't imagine how long that might take. Definitely worth a try. Just keep in mind how busy the place is on a given night and stay home a few minutes longer. read more

Really good place! The inside is very clean and quiet (Not much people come in) and it's very spacious in there. Eating the pizza, I was dissapointed when I saw the extemely floppy pizza and grease stains everywhere. I took a bite and the cheese LITERALLY fell off. Not good for a place that's called "Stoneham PIZZA". The fries were EXTEMELY good, though. Some fries are crispy and they have really good texture. The steak and cheese sub is pretty good, but they add steak to the point where it's overflowing. Mozzerella sticks were really good. I will definitely be back. read more

Sometimes it really pays to give a place a second chance. My first pizza from Stoneham Pizza was less than inspiring and so I tried a variety of other places. None really impressed me and I ultimately went back to Stoneham Pizza. I'm so glad I did! Every pizza I've gotten since has been top notch. We've been going to these guys for years. And the food has always been excellent. They screwed up our order tonight and refused to refund us when it was their error. When we questioned them for not refunding us, they swore at us and hung up. It's pretty bad when someone makes an error and refuses to make it good. They lost our business tonight and I know it doesn't mean anything to them for losing 1 customer. Hopefully our bad experience will lead you to another family run restaurant other than theirs. Since moving to Stoneham, my husband and I have tried every pizza place, one by one. We LOVE pizza, but were disappointed with every new place we tried. Finally, we noticed Stoneham Pizza, and gave them a shot. Hallelujah! Delicious crust, not too greasy, doesn't leave us feeling sick after. I love their onion rings too. Stoneham Pizza not only has the best pizza in town, but the salads are amazing! The chicken ceaser is delicious-fresh lettuce, tender grilled chicken, and shaved parmesan that melts a little from the grilled chicken, makes all the difference! The dressing has so much flavor too. They use good ingredients which I can appreciate. Sub rolls come. from pantedosi so you know you're getting them fresh. Hot pastrami is the go to. 1 because it's extremely hard to mess up and 2 it's nice and quick. These guys do a great job and have a huge menu for such a small spot. Fast and friendly service. I live in Stoneham and we get take out here at least once a month. I'm not a huge pizza guy but I love their pizza. Their steak and cheese subs are also amazing. The bread is fresh and they use an appropriate portion of steak and condiments. I also recommend their Caesar salad wrap with grilled chicken. read more

Stoneham Pizza is the best pizza place in town. My friend recommended their salads to me and I'm glad he did. They have the most delicious Chicken Cesar salad and Steak Tip salad. The Chicken Cesar is filled with pieces of juicy and delicious chicken, the lettuce has melted cheese on top of it. Get it when it's hot, you won't regret it. The Steak Salad is as good, it's filled with steak that's always cooked to the right degree and always juicy. I recommend getting Light Italian dressing for either of these two salads. They also serve delicious Calzones, my friend and I have shared a viarety of them including the Steak and Cheese, Honey Barbaque Chicken and Chicken Parm. They're all great, although I'd say get a small since you'll probably want more. I did it and I was bloated by the end. They make great subs although I'm limited on this part, since I only ever order the Steak Tip sub, get grilled peppers and onions if you order this.
