Pizza, gin, Long Island iced tea at window seat

Was in the mood for pizza so decided to try this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza is amazing and has some of the best cheese I've had on a pie. The prices aren't too bad given the area. Anticipate crowding or inability to get in during the summer time as the building is very small and seating is limited.

what a disappointment! paid $22 for their chicken pesto pizza on cauliflower crust and they didn't put a single piece of chicken. insane!!!! such a rip off. also the man who answered the phone was sassy and hit us with a "you know you actually have to talk into the phone, buddy." tomato was cut soooooo chunky and it was literally like an entire tomato.

In the heart of downtown Lewes, Half Full is known for unique gourmet handmade pizzas, sweet treats, and a great selection of beer and wine. There are so many options to choose from on the menu. It's a small restaurant, and it does get busy during the summer months, but the food and drinks are worth the wait. It's a casual dining experience with friendly staff! If you are looking for a brick oven pizza or a quaint little restaurant to take your significant other, then this is the place for you! You won't be disappointed!

We visited during a Saturday night in July, they were very busy. Regardless the service was good and unstressed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a relaxed atmosphere which features gourmet pizza.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were happy to be seated quickly. The server was fantastic, the pizza was good.

Party of four Wednesday at opening 4pm our first time here the special was buy a bottle of wine get a free pizza, be prepared they are more like flatbread but both were very good so was the wine Tom our server was good but [[HIGHLIGHT]]you have to order at the bar it got busy pretty quickly so good luck scoring a table which are mostly high tops[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Ok... it is loud and very crowded and there is a Wait but... Fantastic pizza! We had a bottle of bubbles and I am quite sure we will dream about these pizzas. Beef & Blue and Croque Monsieur. The pizza crust is crispy and wonderful. If you're in Lewes. Stop and check it out!!

I love this place. I have come here for the past 3 summers with my friends who live in town and it is my only request! My favorite is the crab corn pizza. This time I also had the Dublin pork and the goat cheese and artichoke pizzas. All three were perfection. I love the size of the pizzas, the crust, and the cute little boards they come out on. We sat outside as the location is in the adorable downtown. The service is always great and the drinks are good too! I can't wait to come back next summer for more crab corn

As soon as you walk in, you can feel that polished, higher end atmosphere, and the canal views make for a really nice setting. I went during the off season in early March and caught their Wednesday night Steak and Cake special. For $36 you get a six ounce filet mignon, a crab cake, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a Caesar salad. For a restaurant of this caliber, that's a pretty solid deal. The Caesar salad came out fresh and crisp, and for the first time ever I noticed something you rarely see anymore -- two small sardine strips on top, which is actually the traditional way to serve a true Caesar. The entree was nicely plated. The filet was ordered medium. Parts of it were cooked perfectly and very tender, though a couple bites were a little chewy. The crab cake was the highlight. Very meaty with minimal filler, which is exactly what you want this close to the Delaware coast. Mashed potatoes had that homemade style with a few lumps. Some people love that rustic feel, though I personally prefer them a little smoother. The green beans were simply steamed but had great flavor. Service was excellent. My waitress Kim was friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept, including the restrooms. Overall, a very enjoyable meal with great flavor across the board. I'd definitely come back and would be curious to see what the atmosphere is like here during the busy summer season.

Their Thursday night steak special is great. An 8oz of filet mignon and a 10$ credit towards a glass of wine for $35. The cheeseboard is also really good. Service was extremely slow, ( we ate early and the place wasn't that busy). We ordered cocktails and then we find out (one at a time), they couldn't make mine (I'm not really sure why), then the other cocktail from there cocktail list -they ran out of ingredients....like really?? My appetizer was ok, was hoping for it to be a little better (the shrimp & polenta). We also had olives and the baked Brie. Entrees 2 pork chops, mine was a little thinner than our guest. He really enjoyed it; I did as well as I got closer to the bone it was better. The first couple of bites seemed to be dry. We also had the lamb shank and a burger to go with our Black Stallion Cabernet. We will be back again supporting local independent restaurants. I do wish they had 1/2 stars, I would then give it 3.5.

Once I saw shrimp and grits on the menu, I immediately zeroed in on that. I love shrimp and grits going back to my Winchester days. Succulent shrimp, cheesy grits, and a nice porky meat to give it extra character. Here they use chorizo. But ham or bacon are good options as well. I also like that they give you eight big pieces of shrimp. Not like other restaurants that only give you two or four prawns and call it a day. The crab bisque is good too. A tasty soup that works well this time of year. Even though it was cold the first go around, the second one tasted hot and fresh. Of course it would taste good. The Delmarva region is abundant in crabs. Just as I would expect a clam chowder to taste great in New England or Manhattan. One thing to nitpick, it should come with oyster crackers, not saltines. They work better when it comes to a bisque or a chowder. Besides that, I have little to complain about.
