Tried something different when we didn't want pizza, so we ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich and ravioli. Both were less than average. The chicken Parmesan sandwich with extra cheese seemed quite small, in fact we thought it was the garlic bread that was supposed to accompany the ravioli but didn't. There were small pieces of chicken on bread that was about the size of a hotdog bun, so not quite as expected. It seemed so small that we actually weighed it- and it was 6.05 ounces. The ravioli was supposed to come with bread but the bread was missing. The pizza is usually decent but I probably would never order this sandwich or ravioli again. read more

Always loved ANTHONY's. Stopped in after a pedicure at Le Nails for a quick slice. It's my favorite thing to do when I lived in Mayfair/Park Hill. Now that I'm in Aurora I enjoy picking up chicken wings, pizzas, pasta and calzones to go for large gatherings. They also have a Anthony's lunch weekday special for two cheese slices or a cheese slice and salad for $9.59. Today I just got a slice and added Pepperoni and mushroom toppings. Total with tax and tip was $6.47 for my slice with toppings. Friendly and quick service. The fresh slice comes out of the oven and incredibly hot but YUMMY! There is limited seating inside and more of a grab and go spot. There is a collage of photos on the wall and a menu board to the right of the entrance. read more

I'll start by saying the pizza tastes good. I have no issues with that. My husband and I came in and ordered 2 slices. One with pepperoni, one with sausage and mushroom. We sat in there for 7 or 8 minutes.And another man walked in and asked for his usual, and he got his five minutes before we did. And when I did get my slice, it's not even a complete slice. It's not the end of the world.I just really couldn't believe it as someone who's owned 4 pizza restaurants.I would never serve a customer this. If you're looking for that big New York slice this is the place to go, but if you're not into the grease I would skip it. The staff are nice and friendly. The inside is small yet has lots of seating for those wanting to dine in as most people take it to go or order delivery. I don't particularly enjoy overly greasy pizza and Anthony's pizza is very greasy. I love the huge slices, but the greasiness makes the dough soggy and collapses when you pick it up. Pizza was brunt, stale, and nasty. When I called in about it, the manager said he would replace pizza if I brought it back. However, I ordered it with romaine and received a spring mix and the salad was very small it looks like they just put it in a large container with a total of FIVE pepperoni's talk about a colossal rip off. Hated everything! Nuff said!! I was teetering on 3-4 stars for this this place. The pizza is very good by the slice, but lacks a bit of oomph if you buy a whole pie. I don't know what they do different, but whether you buy pizza by the slice, or by the pie matters. They taste completely different, so if you are looking for a well-oiled NY style slice, this is a great spot. You want the whole pie? It's alright. The service in house is very good. We ate at the location at ILLIF and Buckley tonight 2/24/22. Never going back, ever. The pizza was bland and had not enough sauce or cheese. The sauce tasted like unflavored tomato sauce. The peperoni was tasteless. There was not a redeeming quality about the of the pizza. That really was $30.00 down the tubes. I expected much better from such an established pizzaria. Serious folks Domino's pizza is better. The crust on one of the pizzas was burned black. The service was great but not good enough to make up for the yucky pizza. Too bad for this pizza joint.
