Anne & David were warm and welcoming innkeepers and their residence was clean, homey, even kitchy with old ski relics and pictures from yesteryear adorning the walls as decoration as well as a unique assortment of mugs available for coffee or tea left on a shelf for your choosing, a very simple but pleasing touch). It was pretty much exactly what I would have imagined a BnB to be in a northeast ski town. The hospitality was second to none - warm smiles and helpful local hints, great big breakfast with toast, fruit, with eggs, bacon, and sausage all from local farms. The cat was even friendly, who curled up with me as I worked to catch up on some business in one of the many open gathering spaces late at night. If you ask nicey, David might show you his ski collection or even take you out for a personal tour of the mountain (although he did say he rarely gives lessons anymore, but something tells me he's still game). I couldn't be more pleased, and I would go again without hesitation. My highest recommendation!

There is also some bad to that...."bad" FOREVER we have ALL dealt with front desk employees. So...we all have gotten used to that, right? Of course. There is some kind of comfort in having a front desk employee there. Thats about all the good...I would say lol The BAD! What if you lock your key in your room on accident? You are basically screwed. Not sure if there is a way to contact anyone to get you back in and yes....they are actual keys! Not the little cards we all see at regular, mainstream hotels. I DID! lock my key in the room the following morning. THANKFULLY! there was ONE employee there...BUT she was there to make the continental breakfast...which I will talk about in a min. She was able to give me my spare key. Thank God. If you need something in the middle of the night...oh well. There is no one there to assist you. They tell you where extra towels are and stuff like that on the paper you get when you check yourself in. It's an Inn...and Inn very close to the slopes. So when there is actual snow and the place is packed....I would assume its similar to being in a college dorm lol Don't get me wrong tho, place is very homey. The common room is incredible and I kept imaging it when I was there....FK! this would be so much fun during ski season and this place is full of people! HOWEVER! People drink and drink a lot. The walls here are THIIIIIIIIN!!! So be prepared for that! BRING. EAR. PLUGS! and use the in room ac unit for the fan to drown out noise from other rooms. You will need it. The views from the rooms are beyond incredible. I have some attached. Beautiful views of the slopes and in the Fall...the colors. The breakfast! FKN! INCREDIBLE!!! She put out all the basics, bagels and whatnot, full muffins...amazing! She made these cinnamon muffins....SO. GOOD!! I too a few home with me to give to my mom haha! Overall, it's a great place. Really is. I would definitely stay again. OH! They allow dogs....for a fee of course...even the super tiny ones. They will know too if you have a dog with you. Cameras....everywhere. It's located on a busy road..so keep a close eye on those pups. The grounds around the Inn are amazing. Cute little pond out back, sitting areas all around. It's a wonderful place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going through Manchester or anywhere near there. Very unique experience. I honestly can't remember ever staying at an Inn before. My kids loved the inn and the great room gave us a wonderful place to connect with cousins but...there is very little soundproofing in the rooms and, as a result, it was a bit stressful to try to keep our two (under ten) quite enough that we felt we weren't disturbing other guests. We had issues with the Roku television maintaining a connection to the internet and the hot tub (while lovely) is directly outside a room - you can see into the room while you're sitting in the hot tub. Most other guests seemed understanding...but we definitely got a few frustrated glares.

We absolutely never expected the art installations across the grounds -- including 18 x 26-foot Egyptian statues! The art and decor were eclectic and unexpected, and I found them very intriguing. It's definitely not your traditional resort, but that's what we liked about it. And the statues made for an amazing night with smores by the fire pit! The Reunion House was spacious -- we particularly enjoyed the living room, as it gave us enough room to comfortably host the other half of our family (about 25 of us) for a casual birthday party. There was plenty of seating with cozy leather sectionals and two large dining tables that seated about 8-10 people each. My daughter loved playing the piano in the living room, and the rooms downstairs with the daybeds were a great place for the kids to hang out and watch TV together. (The galley kitchen is a little small, but we were aware of this ahead of time because it was mentioned on their website.) We were there during a massive heat wave and all the air conditioners worked very well and kept us cool. Our kids loved the volley ball/badminton area steps away from our house. The outdoor pool is beautiful and it was so wonderful to be able to gather there easily with our whole family. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. And we enjoyed looking around the mansion as well. There was so much do to in nearby Manchester -- great restaurants and shops, the bookstore is fantastic. We also enjoyed the ropes course and alpine slide at Bromley Mountain. We can't wait to return next year -- we'll be staying at one of the other properties even closer to my extended family's rental house and I'm so excited for its private balconies, jacuzzi tubs, and even more beautiful mountain views!

The grounds are beautiful, serving as an outdoor sculpture garden, perfect for strolling or meditation. The inn is located away from the bustle of Manchester Center, but only a few minutes away from Main Street and the state roads to reach nearby towns. The main house was rented out for the weekend, so we were unable to go inside, but Melissa graciously offered to give us a quick tour when we checked out (contactless, as was the check-in), so we had the opportunity to meet Melissa, as well as the "doggie concierge" Jetson, and sampled some muffins baked on the premises. Top-notch service and hospitality, would love to return in the warmer seasons!

From the moment you walk in you are treated with warm hospitality by the owners Judy & Phil along with their staff. We stayed in the main building, in rooms 17, 15, 12 & 14 all have cozy accommodations that are spacious and very clean. Room 15 was a two-room suite with a gas fireplace that we enjoyed in the evening. Room 14 also has a gas fireplaced that we enjoyed. Our favorite room is 12 on the first floor with a private balcony. All the rooms have very comfortable beds, and each room has a small refrigerator. Each of these rooms all had a view of the mountains in the background. Breakfast is included and is served in the lovely dining room. Thersa is very friendly and always ensures we have everything. Breakfast starts with fresh baked muffins and fruit. There is always a selection for breakfast from eggs, omelets and either French toast, waffles or pancakes. I have enjoyed different omelets, the Cinnamon French toast, waffles w/strawberries and blueberry pancakes served with warm maple syrup that comes from a local farm. In the afternoon you can relax by the fireplace in the parlor and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a variety of fresh baked cookies that are set up for your enjoyment. I highly recommend having dinner in the dining room that is right on the premises at least one night during your stay. The chef prepares great meals, and the menu has a very nice selection. Service has always been exceptional. There is a nice selection of wine, beer and specialty cocktails to choose from. I would highly recommend taking a ride to the "Vermont Country Store" during your stay. The store brought us back to our childhood with the nostalgic toys, rows of penny candy and the original tins of "Charlie chips and much more! Yelp asks what could improve?…read more Well, for starters my now wife and I booked an elopement package here. We booked the Tier Two package as we thought it was the best value. Based on what we saw on their website it looked amazing! Unfortunately after the experience it felt extremely over priced. We were under the impression the manager Cheryl was going to be there and was assisting us with any questions or issues that came up leading up to our special day and then the day before found out that she was on vacation and Jen would be helping us. Upon checking in we went to our room the "Lucinda's Suite" which by the name sounds great. The room itself was large and rustic which isn't bad and was what we were looking for however when i went to use the shower i barely fit never mind the shower head was at my chest level. I'm not a tall person either. On Saturday the day of our "special day" we went to the included breakfast which was nice but were left wondering what was going on for our big day as we were introduced to absolutely no one and told nothing besides a time to show up. When my wife and I went to the gazebo where the ceremony was to be held it was a rough site. Paint peeling, rotting floor boards and things of that nature, not something you're imagining to take pictures in on your big day. As we sat in our room we watched as they decorate led the gazebo...with a table and a table cloth. About 30 minutes prior we were finally introduced to Jen and our Photographer Greg. The best thing i can say was Greg was truly an amazing photographer and did the best he could with our photos. He honestly made the day for us a lot better with his energy and his enthusiasm. After it all we decided to just cut our losses and go home even though we had paid for 2 nights. The 3 hour drive and staying in our own home sounded better. Overall if you're looking for a nice place to elope this wasn't it, as our day did not feel as though it was made very special. The absolute best part was the photographer Greg Nesbitt.

This is a small motel close to Mount Snow, 3 stories. The parking lines aren't clearly drawn out…read moreunder the snow, and they don't shovel it all of the way (there's a good shovel on the central walkway but sometimes people park there), so sometimes cars are double-parked or tight. Watch the parking lot exit - snow piles up and makes it hard to see folks coming on the road so several near-misses. Check-in on your phone (they text you a form and then send you a code to your door when the room is ready). Doors use a security code to enter the rooms. Desk hours are 9-5p, so if you go down at 4:45p and ask about why your door code doesn't work - and then find out the staff is already gone for the day, that was a problem. The day we checked in, a lot of people had issues with their room (all different reservations from different groups, too), and the staff left early that day. Eventually after texting a number and the hotline for customer service goes to the closed room (no one picks up on the number and there's no central phone line staffed), they get back to you via text - I believe the staffer on duty was apparently in the shower as she came down with wet hair after about 45min of folks getting anxious about what to do, and she had folks take a key to use instead of using the door code. Rooms are small, simple, and have an exit to the long shared balcony areas; good to put food outside and let it chill since there's no room fridge. Lighting is a bit dark, but suffices. TV has no issues, cable channels. Bathroom door opened the wrong way so you can't come into the room and open the bathroom door at the same time. Was clean, though, so that was good. Breakfast on the weekend included bagels, boiled eggs, and yogurt in a small fridge to the side. They also have a coffee machine, so you could get hot water and coffee. Breakfast bars and tea by the coffee station. There was also a water cooler to the side, but the staffer didn't have any water to refill that after it was empty in the first hour we were there... so only hot water for the rest of the long weekend. Hallway had a closet for self-service on the towels and supplies. Another closet at the entry for your skis, boots, and snow board to hang and dry a bit. Shared common room for folks to eat and play games. Downstairs, a little library, fireplace, pool table (needs some repair, had to put some logs into the bottom to avoid losing balls, ripped surface), a bar with plastic cups, a piano that's out of tune, and some card and board games. Good for the kids to run around and enjoy talking loudly away from the rest of the motel, which was good. Outside a hot tub (we didn't use it). Upstairs some seating and fireplace area, too. Overall, value the place for the location, 5 min from the mountain, and it's a motel. Don't expect 24-7 service, and it is convenient to restaurants and other areas nearby. Shuttle stops by to get to the mountain, too.

A sign on the wall stated which rooms were on which floor, that was it. Never saw any public spaces at all. I will say the bed was very comfortable and had a flat screen TV but that's it. Tiny Bathroom with very dim lights. The room looked like a mud brown box, no decoration at all and very ratty old rug. Odd that some things looked good, but others were unfinished. Clean, very basic. All in all it appeared like it was the middle of a hotel flip. Construction, ladders in entrance ways, and workers pounding at 9:30 am.

The many awards and accolades this place continuously receives year after year speaks for itself. Let me tell you about our experience: We booked the Mustard Room and since Jackie had other rooms available, she upgraded us to stay in the Rose Room. Bonus. The bed was fit for a king and after a long drive we snoozed until the wee hours enjoying pure luxury. If only we could have spent more time exploring the rooms which were decorated with rich detail. Have fun playing board games in the front room or pick up a cozy book in the library room. The bathroom feels like a spa and the sunroom is where you need to spend your time. Better yet...get outside and explore the grounds! Learn how to build your own compost, collect eggs, pick vegetables, play with the animals and so much more. Lola just comes out and gives lots of love :) The 3-course candlelight breakfast was delicious! On how many occasions have you enjoyed a beautiful flower with your meal as you chat with the cook about how many more blooms you should eat for a balanced meal? My first popover was steamy and tasty. Too bad I filled up on the complimentary cookies in the pantry that I couldn't eat more. But you know what? These cookies were the number one recipe in town. No, really. They won the local contest for best cookie. I think I ate like 10 cookies in one hour. You have to stock up on the town's NUMBER ONE cookie!! No shame! But the food really is incredible. All straight from the farm. All organic, all sustainable. The partnership with local farms and shops is inspiring. Jackie gave us great tips on things to do in town and the best way to enjoy hot cocoa at Burdick's. (half and half). Probably the best tips she gave us were life-changing and inspiring for our future farm to table efforts. One day, Jackie! One day! You really need to stay here and taken an apprenticeship on sustainable farming. I still find myself wondering how much Coco and Lola have grown (friendliest goats in the world). I never asked what the rate was because I didn't care, I was going to pay whatever he requested of me. But to hear David tell me he didn't have vacancy and know this was a full blown lie was absurd to me. I would never recommend a business to anyone that treats potential customers like this. Very sad and disappointed to say the least.
