    Prime rib and ahi tuna

I was so sad when my friend told me that Stoney River would be closing in June2026. I had been wanting to try it so we made a reservation there this past Saturday night. It was a good thing we did have reservations because the place was packed. I enjoyed the southern martini and the prime rib which you don't see on a lot of menus. My boyfriend got the ahi tuna. Both were excellent! Service could've been better but I'll keep this at 5 stars.

Awesome experience! Every visit to Stoney River is always a good one. The food was excellent. I highly recommend their shrimp toast and steak rolls to start, and their house-made rolls with whipped honey butter are heavenly! They're also very generous with the lamb chops--serving six in the dinner portion. The ambiance is amazing as well, with plenty of comfortable booth seating and cozy fireplaces in the dining area. The service was a 10/10. Angel took great care of us, and I hope to have her again.

I have been coming here off and on. I had my wedding reception here back in 2013. It was fitting to dine with my sister friends this past Friday night. I made reservations online and it was quick and easy. We were immediately greeted at the front desk and was escorted to our table which was near the fireplace, which is my favorite spot to sit by for fine dining. We all were able to review the menu and specials and didn't feel rushed to order. We each had our pick. I had the calamari, where one lady had the lobster bisque, and the other lady tuna dip. For our entrées, two of us had the coffee crusted steak, and the other had the salmon. Everything was amazing and we each enjoyed our meal.

Monday Happy Hour Bartender/server : Jalen Jalen was very attentive and had great food recommendations . Stoney River only has 3 apps available for happy hour. I chose the deviled eggs. They were good but the bacon was so hard ! Like , you almost can chip your tooth trying to chew it. Maybe it was fried another day and stored overnight? Idk. I think the kitchen should make bacon crumbles if they're not going to make fresh bacon. I chose a Malbec wine instead of a Meiomi because they only serve Meiomi by the bottle. My entree was the steakhouse burger and I swapped fries for Gouda Mac n cheese. I asked for medium well done but the burger arrived Raw . The Mac was piping hot ... no complaints. Jalen made sure the kitchen fired another burger for me and I just took it to go. The best part of this early dinner was the service and the fresh rolls with honey butter .

Stoney River is such a hidden gem. From the hostess to the wait staff, it's always a welcoming environment. You have options to sit at a regular table for four, a booth or one of the two seaters near the fireplace. The food is flavorful, rich and abundantly portioned. For this visit I had the steak trio, cheesesteak egg rolls and the cheesecake. I would certainly recommend these dishes as well as the ribs, steak and biscuit, shrimp toast and the massive slice of carrot cake. The restaurant doesn't miss!

Stopped by for lunch after a tech visit at the Towson Town Center Apple Store. We were seated at a booth facing the gas fireplace- very nice! Our server was friendly and helpful. Loved the warm rolls and whipped butter to start. Good iced tea. Ordered the shrimp appetizer and wedge salad to start. Followed by chicken sandwich and meat loaf dinner. Lots of food, took enough home for dinner, which worked out great. We would definitely return! It was a little tricky to find best way to get there is to walk past the Apple Store on level two all the way to the escalator at the end where you can go down to Stony River restaurant. Cheesecake Factory is there also.

It was my first day back in the country and I wanted a good American lunch! This hit the nail right on the head. It was absolutely delicious. I sat at the bar but the restaurant was pretty empty so there were plenty of seats available. The bartender was very attentive and nice. The chicken tenders with a loaded baked potato hit the spot! I'll def be back for dinner so I can try the lamb chops.

My husband wanted a quality steak for his birthday, but also a family friend place for our nuggetarians. Our service was great. The waiter was prompt and checked in often. Our steaks were just OK. Not seasoned as well as we'd prefer but the add-on accoutrements added flavor. The mashed potatoes were meh. It's hard to find a steakhouse with great steaks AND great sides. The standout was the steak eggrolls. I could have made eaten 10. Not sure if I would refer but overall it was a good experience.

Stoney River delivers lively service, delicious offerings, and a warm ambiance. Greeted with delight at the host, we were immediately sat by the fireplace. We warmed up to drinks, starters, complimentary bite-sized rolls and butter, and salad. Mains followed thereafter, and everything came out on time. Wine pours were steady, and our server was incredibly attentive. Everyone complemented their dish, and all were so pleased. We appreciate the care and attention received as we celebrated a special milestone of a colleague. Oh, the chocolate cake is heaven on a spoon... so dangerous. I'll be sure to take one home next time.

I found every part of this experience to be great. The interior was modern but quiet. The bathroom was also upscale. The service was really prompt, and my water glass was never empty. Starting with the bread, it was a unique and incredible cinnamon poppy bread with a soft and creamy butter. I had the prime rib which was thick and juicy and didn't need the au jus, but it still added amazing flavor. Each entree came with a potato, and the parmesan fries were just loaded with cheesy goodness. His steak was cooked perfectly and the baked potato was cooked perfectly with crunchy salty skin. We shared the broccoli which was good, and the smoked gouda mac and cheese really had great smokey flavor. Every dish was great, and the place started to get packed later in the evening. Reservations strongly recommended. This place is great for a special occasion or if you just want to treat yourself to a nice dinner.

Ordered: Bourbon voodoo: 7/10 I got it randomly and it wasn't bad Coffee cured filet mignon: 9/10 ordered medium and it was amazing. Juicy and the coffee crusted well. Would get again. Creamed spinach & Mac and cheese: 10/10 both were creamy and extremely flavorful Customer service was overall very good. No complaints from me. Will return

How are the gluten and dairy free options? Do they customize or just here's what you can order?

My daughter has both dairy and gluten allergies. She had the salmon with french fries which she said was delicious. You can ask them to leave off the dairy based sauces.

I attended a wedding celebration there on Thursday and am happy to report I was wrong. The staff was professional and welcoming. It was pretty chaotic with people randomly showing up. They took it all in stride. We were offered water and drinks immediately as we waited for the bride and groom. While we had a "set" menu, every option sounded delicious. Finally the happy couple joined us and we could order for real! I doubled down ordering both hot crab dip and crab cakes. Hot rolls. Yes and they were fantastic. The dip was good. Our servers brought out to go containers almost immediately. It wasn't possible to eat all the food available. I ordered a blue margarita. Strong and yummy. Tasted the crab cake which was good as well. The broccoli seemed an afterthought. Cooked well but NO SEASONING! Who does that? All in all it was a wonderful celebration with family and friends. On 3'13'2026, I visited w GodSis, and was assisted by Kyle. Kyle had a big personality and was very pleasant. Collectively, we ordered the following. HH-House Wine (White) - Amazing as usual. HH-House Wine (Red/ White) - Refreshing Broccoli - Came out cold, sent back for hot broccoli. HH-Steamed Shrimp - Plentiful and yum. HH-Grilled Lamb Chops - Tender, well plated, savory. HH-Thai Chili Wings - Amazing flavor, great texture and temp. Fries - Ok. Room temp. HH- Spinach and Artichoke Dip - Very good. Plentiful. During my recent trip back to Baltimore, my friends and I made reservations for four on a Saturday night. I'll admit, I was convinced my GPS had failed me when it led me into a business park. Just when I was ready to question my phone's navigation , BlueStone appeared like a hidden gem. The restaurant was large and looked upscale from the outside with plenty of free parking, making the first impression even better. We were seated immediately, and the hostess greeted us with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a perfect blend of casual elegance. There are several dining spaces throughout the restaurant, including private rooms that would be ideal for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, or other special occasions. Our server was attentive without hovering and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our evening. We kicked things off with cocktails, including a French 75, White Cosmo, and Blackberry Bandit. Every drink was expertly crafted, but the French 75 was the undeniable star of the night, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second. When it came to dinner, my friends all chose the crab cake entrée and they all enjoyed their food ( they are locals), proving that Bluestone knows exactly what they are doing when it comes to a well made crab cake. I ordered the Ocean & Gulf entrée. My dish included a jumbo lump crab cake, deep-sea scallops, and Gulf shrimp served over forbidden black rice with sautéed vegetables in a honey garlic beurre blanc. Every component was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended together so well that each bite felt like a little celebration. It was one of those meals where the conversation pauses because everyone is too busy enjoying the food. As if dinner wasn't enough, we finished with Taharka Brothers Honey Graham and Vanilla Bean ice cream. It was creamy, rich, and the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. BlueStone exceeded my expectations from the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the last spoonful of dessert. Great service, good prices, decent portions and expertly prepared food and cocktails. Definitely an atmosphere that's perfect for everything from date night, a family celebration, to a girls' night out. This has officially earned a spot on my list of must visit restaurants every time I come back to Baltimore.

It was busy because of the holiday but Bluestone has a lot of seating. I asked the 3 girls at the front for a table with good lighting. The hostess didn't hesitate and we were seated immediately. There was a Fathers Day special of 2 separate entrees . Our Server Jake told us the Steak was sold out . That's pretty good for them. Sounds like I should try the steak another day if they have it. I wanted a small plate and Jake gave me 3 recommendations: BANG bang shrimp, mini crab cakes, & Crab Spinach dip. I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp and the beet salad. This was another "live in the moment" dinner for me. I am deciding to be more deliberate about enjoying my food and not taking as many pics. Everyone on Yelp has the same pics of the same food. The beet salad was so good. Very appealing plate. The Bang Bang Shrimp were swimming in sauce but still tasty. I really wanted to try a new red wine Jake recommendations were : JEZEBEL & Alta Pavina. I chose the Alta Pavina (a high alcohol content you may only need 1). I wasn't feeling like a Jezebel on Sunday and decided to wait for a Friday night for that red wine.

Well folks, I have enjoyed this place since we held our wedding reception there, 22 years ago! (It…read morewas still known as Sander's Corner back then.) We moved to AZ 7 years ago and quickly learned that there is no such thing as a good crabcake outside of Maryland. A few years after our wedding, the restaurant changed hands and became McFaul's Ironhorse Tavern. Initially, we were a bit concerned but that concern proved to be unfounded! With every trip back to MD, we always tried to stop into McFauls for - yup, a Maryland Crabcake (broiled), an ear or two of MD sweet corn and a cold Natty Boh! (My Dad used to work for National Brewing Co., so the beer choice was nostalgic, but honest! There is NO Natty Boh west of the Mississippi!) Anyway, nostalgia played a role in our choice of dining at McFaul's - but only ever so slightly! Until last night! We arrived at 5:30pm and had our choice of seating. It was a bit too warm to dine outside, so we chose a table for four near the fireplace. Two other tables were being served and the entire restaurant had not hit it's peak customer load! I settled in for my latest crabcake dinner. I chose the single crab cake with two sides. (Dinner: $35.00) but I am getting ahead of myself. Service was slow, waters only came right out and then the wait began. 10 minutes later, our server arrived to take our drink order. Of course, I ordered a can of Natty Boh. I also asked for a glass for my beer. 8 minutes later, the beer arrived (no glass.) Other drinks wandered in, but still no glass for the beer. I drank my water (which was also served in a beer-type glass) and waited. Our server returned to take our dinner order (still no glass!) Orders now placed and my can of Boh still needing a glass, I finished my water and poured (properly, of course) my Natty Boh into my empty, but still cold water glass. I enjoyed the first sip! Ahhhhh! Table talk proceeded and I started to dream of my cake! (BTW - no choice of broiled or fried!) Our server returned with a menu adjustment for one of our guests - kitchen was out of something. Oh yeah, my frosted glass finally arrived. (Too late!) Here's the sad part... our dinners were just so so. My small crabcake was surronded by about 25 fries and a mini Caeser's Salad. I had asked for two cups of cocktail sauce - I received one cocktail sauce and one tarter sauce. I have seen bigger crabcakes in the frozen food section of Giant Food. I was even served a cake twice as large at Camden Yards - of all places - for $28.00! One of our guests that ordered Fish & Chips received a full plate Caeser's Salad and about 50-60 fries (for way less money!) Here's my rap... I was not even mildly impressed by our food, service or ambiance! My, how the mighty have fallen. I will now remove McFaul's (with great sadness) from my "Must Visit When in MD" list! Reasons are as above, but for those that don't like to read all the dastardly details - Mediocre Food, Slow Unattentive Service, and A Tavern Ambiance that sorely needs a refresh! Sorry Folks, but Baltimore has WAY better to offer! SMH!

This restaurant is pretty large - there are several dining rooms and spaces available. They sat us pretty fast considering we had a reasonably sized party. You could definitely bring a party here - they have many rooms available. Next, service was quick and prompt. You have to order steak and ramen through your server. I recommend both! Both were of good quality and my aunts in particular loved the seafood ramen. Of course, the main draw of a buffet is the food! The food here is pretty good! They have a good amount of variety and keep the quality good as well. They offer a lot of sushi options, and some hot food options as well. Their crab was excellent too - I haven't seen any good buffets recently with crab offerings. They also offer milk tea in the fridge and ice cream for desserts. The milk tea is pretty good - the thai tea was my personal favorite. Overall, a nice place to grab some sushi at an affordable price.

This is a quiet, clean restaurant with a very nice variety of dishes, including some "adventurous"…read moreoptions like jellyfish and frog legs. I was a big fan of the sushi and my friends thought the mac n cheese and ramen were surprisingly good. The NY strip was not my favorite, but the dessert options (including milk tea!!) made up for any meh dishes. Waiters were quick to refill drinks and clear plates, which made this a super efficient meal!
