It's amazing how much this place changes from one night to another. We were staying in a condo literally right above this place so we became frequent guests here. When we first went it was a Thursday night and it was full of mid 30's locals. They had a laptop hooked up to some speakers and were playing mostly salsa. On Friday & Saturday, it was full of young kids (18-25) who were ready to party and the music was mainly hip hop. Sunday night it was full of local workers who were just there to unwind. The drinks are pretty cheap depending on what night you are there, but Heineken is always $2 and is what 90% of the clientele is drinking. Friday & Saturday nights the price does go up quite a bit for a cuba libre. Overall, its a great place to hang out but be warned that they don't have air conditioning and it can get really hot in there. read more

Whenever i am in condado area and want to get affordable beers or drinks, i stop by here. This place is 24/7 and they have a good variety of beers here from local to craft beers. It gets pretty packed on friday and saturday nights. For those that are a bit peckish, they have someone late night that make pinchos (meat on a stick or however you want to call it). The only downside is parking- like in most palces in condado you have to take your sweet time to find street parking or invest in a parking lot and once you do you have to walk on over to the To-Go. It was our first visit to Puerto Rico, a company sponsored trip that put us up in the Caribe Hilton, a resort hotel with nothing cheap open late anywhere nearby. After several failed attempts to order pizza, we stumbled upon this place. To be fair, I have no idea what the place looks like. From the reviews, it seems to be mostly a bar. However, having not tried but heard of the infamous dish mofongo and being desperately hungry, we ordered two: one with chicken and the other with pork. It took them a while to get to us but once they did, we were ecstatic. Cheap food, no delivery fee, and gigantic portions. And it was damn delicious. Honestly, some of the best food we had in San Juan. So, while I have no advice for those looking for a spot to drink, if you're hungry late at night and don't want to spend $30 on a room service salad, call this place. They are incredible. read more

Tables don't get cleaned, bathroom is disgusting, and we had the worst wings of our life. My stomach is rumbling as I write this & I fear that food poisoning is in my future. I found this place after looking for a place to go for about an hour because it was a quiet night. I went in and asked for a Heineken and a Madella and the bartender told me 3.50 for both, of course I was thinking in my head he had made a mistake but no he did not. This bar has some of the cheapest beer prices I've ever seen, Heineken is $2 and Madella is $1.50. The bar food is what you would expect for a local type bar and the other beer selection is huge and not so badly priced either. If your looking to save some money or just pre game in Puerto Rico this is your best bet hands down. I will be back here next time I come around for sure. Pretty much did as the name says, stopped here with my family for a quick bite to eat while we waited until our hotel room was ready to check into. Food selection is slim however beer selection is huge. Ordered two take out containers of white rice and carne guisada con platanos and the food was real good. (Which I was expecting as being here in PR). The overall look of the place is eh- definitely a locals hang, seems very dark from the sidewalk/street. Ordered the two containers, two bottles of soda and a bottle of water and the total came to $19.75. Fed all four people in the family so that was a plus for being on the cheaper side of feeding four! Definitely a plus. Knocked a star down because my mom was almost hit right in the face with a door that employees kept swinging on open, with no regard to who might be on the other side. Came in on a Friday night and it was packed, disorganized, and dirty. Everyone was cutting the line, and it took them over an hour to get my empanadas ready. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back the next day. It was less busy, I was seated immediately, but it took them another hour and ten minutes to prepare my food because they forgot... Again. And when I asked where my food was, and mind you this was an hour into me being there, they said "What did you order again? Oh, we will prepare it right now" even though I had followed up with them 20 minutes earlier and they reassured me that it was coming. This place is always full with a very strange crowd. The smell of the front sidewalk is horrible due to some trash cans nearby. The music is controlled by the crowd which can be very annoying if someone has already paid up about $20 of their favorite strange music. No air conditioned in a very heated environment and bathrooms are even worse than the trash cans outside. Drinks are cheap, yeah, but don't expect them to be well served or to be at least drinkable.
