A bit disappointed with Musa as it was rated across social media apps. To begin, they were extremely slow with service and attention. We requested dishes with a few dietary restrictions and they were oblivious to them. Overall, their food is also extremely over salted. It's a shame because they have such a cozy and well maintained location. Overpriced food and not up to par. Their drinks were 10/10 though, the bartender was really great.

The Mongolia beef is super salty. I drank two cups of water after that but still can feel how salty it was. Kind of disappointed. The service is good

Musa did not live up to its expectations. When we arrived, a few minutes before our reservation, we waited for 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. Our table had been ready & set yet we continued to wait while the host(s) were on their phone. Our waitress was very nice, however the experience is not on par with the ambiance and overall vibe that the establishment is trying to accomplish. I ordered the caesar salad appetizer which was very tasty: the dressing and lettuce were both so fresh. The dumpling appetizer was very tasty - the Asian inspired sauce with the plantains were a nice touch. The ribs did not meet expectations- the sauce tasted exactly like the dumplings and we did not taste the guava at all. The gnocchi sauce was good, a creamy white truffle sauce, but the gnocchi themselves were harder than al dente... Overall it was a very mellow vibe, the food was alright.

Saw the ropa vieja mac & cheese on the menu and knew I just had to try them out & I do not regret it one bit. I recommend making a reservation as the place fills up for dinner time. The tostones were nice and crispy & had garlic on them for a little extra flavor.

the kind of dim restaurant where you can barely read the menu. they brought us a tiny lamp. food was good except the pork was way tough and the lava cake was not lava cake

Really great flavors! Drinks were excellent! The croquettes were amazing and so was the cheese and guava. The restaurant was nice but for the prices I could expect a little more like table cloth and free water.

We came right when the place opened at 10am & I'm so glad we did! We experienced wonderful service & the food was delicious! You can tell they really take their time with their menu. Everything we ordered was great including the drinks. The ambiance was nice, too, & it did get busy while we were there.

Service was great. The food was amazing and portion size was very large. I was able to take half of it to go because I was so full. The water they serve there is also really crisp and makes you want more.

Absolutely loved Musa! Have to give a shout out to our wonderful waiter Tomas, he was awesome. This place was a little hidden from where we parked, but they had their own parking close by. We came in for a late dinner and this place was pretty empty, but we did not let this draw us away. The food here was delicious! We had the dumplings de churrasco, empandaillas bistec, camarones al coco, and asaragus. Loved the Puerto Rican twist to the dumplings, literally hadn't tried anything like it before! The camarones de coco were to drool over! The empanadillas were savory. Honestly can't go wrong with anything at this place. It's dimly lit with fun funky aesthetic that makes this place so cool. I'll definitely come back to try a brunch whenever I visit San Juan again!

"No más!" If i wanted to create a caricature of a pretentious version of a Puerto Rican restaurant, this would be it. You'd have better luck walking blindfold down the streets of Old San Juan and walking in anywhere for a better meal What's to jeer - Overpriced - Every dish is either too salty or too sweet/creamy - The "risotto" is so bad, the death penalty in Italy would be extracted for producing this - Service looks labored and understaffed - Do not order the "chewy" tuna tartare, the bland Caesar salad, the cement like Mac and cheese, or the bucatini, or the tostones which are greasy than the godfathers hair - Terrible wine that was corked What's to cheer - Decent spicy margarita cocktail - Bacalao (but it's fresh cod not salted cod)

Amazing brunch spot with creative dishes! Highly recommend the Mongolian chicken and mac n cheese. As a bonus, their cocktails were great too. Definitely worth checking this place out if you're looking for a great meal.

Came in for lunch after our flight into Puerto Rico. The place is welcoming and the staff was great. Very knowledgeable and attentive. However the food I ordered was not what I expected. I got the NY Strip steak and eggs and my girl got the chicken and waffles. Her plate was great. However I asked mine to be medium rare. It came out seared on the outside and cold and blue on the inside. Had to send it back to be cooked a bit more. It was a bit better but still was disappointed in how it came out. This isn't a knock on the staff at all cause our waitress was great. But my plate wasn't great.

Came here straight from the airport at 10am on time for brunch & bottomless mimosa! ($25 pp) Service was excellent. The waitress, Neyletzi, was amazing and attentive. The food was very delicious and large portions! The appetizer we shared, fried cheese, was not worth it. However, everything was amazing! Definitely a place to brunch!

I was so excited because I'd heard so many great things, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Be aware that this is a very small restaurant with only about 15-20 seats, so it fills up quickly. We arrived with no wait, but by the time we were eating, there was already a long line outside. Also, if you're in a hurry, this may not be the best choice. Everything is made fresh from scratch, so the food does take a while to come out. Service is definitely on island time, but once the food arrives, you'll understand why--it's well worth the wait. I ordered the California Surfer wrap, and wow...it was absolutely amazing! Everyone in our group raved about their meals, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice was out of this world. I'm honestly sad we only made it here once during our week in Puerto Rico. I would absolutely come back again and highly recommend Pinky's to anyone looking for a fresh, delicious breakfast. Everything we ordered was very good, and on an extremely hot day, I was especially appreciative of how well the A/C was keeping up. I was actually a little cold--and I'm never cold. It felt so nice after getting overheated right before we got there. One thing I noticed while wandering around Old San Juan is that some restaurants likely survive on location and foot traffic alone, while others earn people seeking them out. Semilla definitely felt like the latter. It's tucked just around the corner from some of the busiest pedestrian areas, so it felt like we escaped the crowds for a little while without actually going very far. Overall, I'd happily come back. If you're staying nearby and looking for a good meal without being surrounded by the busiest tourist crowds, Semilla is well worth checking out.

This is global techniques blended with locally sourced Puerto Rican ingredients. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. I was there to celebrate my birthday (a reservation is a must). I asked if I could be seated in a different section of the restaurant, and even though they were packed, they said absolutely and found me a lovely seat in the bar area. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I suffer from severe food allergies but wanted to experience their tasting menu. My server spoke to the chef directly and then took the time to walk me through every option. I TRULY appreciated that they did not take anything off the menu but rather told me how they could adjust for my allergies. That is very rare and so very much appreciated that they went that extra mile for me. I highly recommend the tasting menu. It's 5 courses and they give you 3 options to choose from, within each course. And for the price ($85), a great value. Everything was delicious but I highly recommend the Breadfruit Gnocchi, Rainbow Runner Crudo, and Criollo Duck Mofongo. Chefs kiss! What I also noticed was, even though they were insanely busy, they didn't make you feel rushed. The invited you to savor the experience - which I did. Next time you are in San Juan, make a reservation and go. You won't be disappointed!

Everything else was very well done. The two of us split one order of the five-course tasting menu plus an additional starter, and it ended up being a nice light meal. Had we each ordered our own tasting menu, it would have been far more food than we wanted...something we found to be a fairly common theme with portion sizes throughout Puerto Rico. The standout of the evening was the Criollo Duck Mofongo, which was absolutely exquisite and easily the best mofongo we had on our trip by far. The cocktails were tasty and unique, but a bit small for the price. This definitely isn't an every-night kind of restaurant...the prices are on the higher side. I've bought them at the grocery store for my mother over the years when I couldn't find Menier. I was hoping to see some unique desserts at Chocobar Cortés. Let's just say that the chocobar at this location was not what I was expecting. It's like an express version of their original one in Old San Juan. This is located in the lobby of the Condado Palm Hotel. There are 2 entrances. Don't make the same mistake we did by trying to access at street level. That door is locked. You'll need to enter through the hotel lobby. The service is very slow here. There was only one other person there. We ordered a box of 6 chocolates and payed for it. I'm guessing he was making a drink for the other guest because he asked us to wait a few minutes. It ended up being longer so he told his colleague (who just came back from a break) to make up the chocolate box for us. Unfortunately, it took even longer as this other guy was more interested in the 2 young girls who just walked in. The chocolate bonbons were good, but nothing unique. It's the same artisan chocolates that you see everywhere for the same high price. Perhaps this location is better for their specialty cocktails in the evening time. I was looking forward to trying the choco-latte at some point. I doubt there will be a next time.
