    Organic salad
    Shirin P.

Menu is not that exciting but their food is decent and staff is attentive. Continental breakfast was our least favorite item on the menu. We also ordered the organic salad with eggs, ola burger and beef flat bread. The bread on our burger was kind of old but the meat and toppings were flavorful.

    Delicious burger.

Stopped by Ola Ocean Front because it seemed to be one of the few places near our hotel that was open around 11:30 am on a Tuesday morning/early afternoon. We treated ourselves to the Puerto Rican styled empanadas (they have a real name that escapes me at the moment) and a couple of burgers. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I do not have a single complaint. Actually, a small complaint: I thought the mojitos (strawberry mint and regular) were waaaaay too sweet. However, my other cocktails were fine. Also, Our server Gabriel was pretty awesome. The view of the ocean/beach is absolutely breathtaking. The best part is one can sit indoors with AC (very important on a hot afternoon) and see this the beautiful ocean. Since the restaurant is located within a nice hotel, menu prices will be on the higher end ... but that's the point of a vacation.

Had another delicious breakfast here and it did not disappoint. I loved the aroma of the cappuccino with cinnamon. The second cup just missed the mark because they forgot the cinnamon which is standard on their menu. They had forgotten my French toast so I had to watch everyone else eat which is a no no in my option. The sausage link was a special treat because it wasn't like the ones I had at home. We had a great view sitting outdoors. Looking forward to Sunday brunch options tomorrow.

We were in the mood to have dinner with an ocean front view and we decided to visit this restaurant as it was a short walk from our hotel. This restaurant is located inside the Vanderbilt Hotel. We were greeted by a doorman in the lobby who took our temperature and provided us with hand sanitizer. He then directed us to the restaurant. We were promptly greeted by the hostess, she was really polite and made small talk while she took us to our seat. Jerick was our server and bartender. He was great! Super attentive and funny. We tried different cocktails and all were delicious. For dinner, we started with the octopus empanadas as a starter. Octopus was nicely seasoned and portions were just right for an app. For my entree I had the fried Red Snapper while my boyfriend had the margherita pizza. He said his pizza was okay. I enjoyed the fish, it was fresh and flavorful but the sides were a little underwhelming. For dessert, we had the churros which were served with dulce de leche and nutella dipping sauces and you can't go wrong with that. The restaurant has beautiful views of the oceans and the venue itself is gorgeous. The service was lovely and hospitable. Perfect for a date night.

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, and the service was excellent from beginning to end, from the hostess to the servers and bussers. Our server, Jeffery, was amazing! He was energetic, professional, attentive, and you can genuinely tell he takes his position seriously. I loved that! We were greeted with complimentary sopa de plátano and bacalaítos, and I was NOT expecting to love them as much as I did. This was by far the best sopa de plátano I've ever had. I never thought I could fall in love with a soup, but here we are! (I ordered a whole extra regular size bowl )The bacalaítos were another surprise because they're normally not something I order or even particularly like--and I've tried quite a few in my life--but these were absolutely delicious. My S/O and I shared the churrasco with arroz mamposteao, along with a side of avocado salad and majado de viandas. Everything was a straight 10/10. Not one disappointment on the table. They also make an amazing Rojo Pico, which was the perfect addition to the experience. 100% recommend Casita Miramar. Don't overthink JUST GO! Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and most importantly, genuinely delicious, quality Puerto Rican food. This place absolutely deserves the hype and its spot in my top two!

The food was incredible. Everything we ordered was flavorful, comforting, and clearly prepared with care. My mother even commented that the arroz y habichuelas reminded her of her grandmother's cooking, which is probably one of the highest compliments a Puerto Rican restaurant can receive. The meal felt authentic, homemade, and deeply satisfying. I ordered the stuffed avocado, and it was absolutely to die for. It was one of the standout dishes of our entire trip. The staff was attentive and worked hard to keep things moving despite how busy the restaurant was. You can immediately tell that this place serves a very high volume of customers, and for good reason. The only thing that may confuse first-time visitors is the seating process. People generally line up in the hallway adjacent to the dining room and wait to be seated. At first, it can feel like organized chaos, but the staff clearly knows how to manage the crowd. Given the popularity of the restaurant and the amount of people coming through the doors, the system works. The quality of the food for the price is outstanding. This is the kind of place you visit when you want authentic Puerto Rican food that tastes like it came straight from someone's family kitchen. If you're visiting San Juan, you owe it to yourself to eat here at least once. Our family loved it, and we would absolutely return on a future trip.

You get the real deal, real Puerto Rican dishes, with the greatest flavors and fair prices. Unless you prefer playing overpriced, find dining restaurants with average Puerto Rican food, which there are plenty of in the area. I'm not able to emphasize how small this restaurant is, it's located right along the main walking strip in Coronado Beach. Maybe 10 tables or so. No reservations walk up wait in line if you have to eat and leave. Not only will you eat the best tasting food during your trip, but probably also pay the least amount of money. We went here twice!
