Was referred by a friend to this shop. I had my front brake pads replaced along with rotors and pads for the rear on my 2018 Lexus RX. Overall a pretty quick turnaround and pricing was excellent. Probably saved about 1/2 of what the dealer would have charged and saved based on quotes had received from other shops around the area. Avoid this place at all cost. I took my 4runner for break replacement. After installation the front right was making a grinding noise. Took it back and he refused to take the wheel out to check where the noise is coming from. Took it to another shop to find out that break wasn't install properly and the Shim was hitting the rotor which cause the noise. The customer service is horrible. Bruce has bad business practices and he does not honor commitment. I spoke to him on the phone to repair my brake booster. We agreed that he would order the part and I would have my car towed to his shop by 10am. At 4:15pm, Bruce called to inform me that he could not work on my car and gave a lame excuse as why he couldn't. In addition, he said the shop next door is interested in the work. Peter's is just as shady as Stop Brake Shops. I picked up my vehicle and a more reputable shop has completed the repair. read more

The work area is clean and well lit. Being able to watch him work on my car from the sitting area is comforting. He has 2 hydraulic lifts that allow him to work on 2 cars at the same time. Well I do not know about you but it is most embarrassing to come to a stop and your brakes are squealing, and grinding. You really feel like you are damaging your car, less alone the publics ears. I called Mr. Lee explained my problem he advised me right away. I thought I was going to have to come deep out of an empty pocket. But I did not thanks to Mr. Lee. I brought my own pads. I came to this shop 4 months ago and Bruce (the owner) told me that I needed rotors. I trusted his word and told him to go ahead and install the new rotors. He then stated that I needed a special type of rotor for my 2006 GS Lexus so the cost would be more. I still took his word and told him to install the rotors. However, I'm back 4 months later because my car is doing the same thing from when i brought it in the first time, he test drives my car and immediately states I need rotors. Bruce how could I need rotors in just 4 months when at the same time i got new brake pads installed as well????? What I now know is that Bruce never put new rotors on my car which is why I'm back with the same issue. Bruce sanded my rotors down and led me to believe I had new rotors and brakes. Its really disheartening to know that a man would take advantage of a women and charge me $250 for parts and labor that was NEVER performed on her vehicle. So pretty much I just gave him $250 and now I have to go to another shop to have new rotors installed. I would suggest you sit there the entire time he's working on your vehicle and or request your old parts. read more

I got referred too bruce thru a good friend.i have a 2012 bnw 740li so my initial contact with bruce was in june of this year and it was good and he did my back brakes by installing my pads and 1 sensor but,he did not know how too reaet the system too clear the brake light fault so,i had too take the car like that on the day in question so,he bring it and he has a friend in the same complex that has a computer too reset it so,i can back that following Saturday and that didnt work so,i advised bruce then that i would either A. Take it too the dealer or B.i would find a place that could reset it and i had been in constant contact with him via phone and 2 in person visit just too let him know the staus of things concerning this situation so,finally last week i was able too get it fixed and i called him on monday and told him how much the bill was and i would bring it too show him so,he could pay me back for the unfinished job that he performed and this guy says he isnt gonna pay it . My whole problem with bruce is that he isnt a stand up guy and doesn't jeep his word as a man & business man and furthermore who brings their toi get the brakes done with the brake light on and has too leave like that? That is whole reason for getting them done so,your light would be turned off and you brakes are replaced right so,it looks like small claims court so,word too the wise before you spend your hard earned $$$$ wirh bruce find out if knows what he is doing and if he doesnt he will not be fair with you going forward!!! read more

I'd took my car here to replace my two front brakes. After it's replaced it is STILL MAKING NOISE when braking !!! I've already took it back to him twice since he replaced the brakes. The first time he said he clean it out and don't see any problem. The noise still there!!! The second time he changed the pads with new ones but still making NOISE when braking!! All three times I was there I just dropped off the car and left with my wife while he's fixing it. I called him today and told him about the issue and said He told me he never hear any noise while he's driving, that if he drove it?? And, he said am I sure it's coming from the front brakes? I said yes, it's so obvious and hear it every time when braking! It's get very annoying. I can tolerate a little noise here and there but this is loud and consistently!
