Put new tires on my car at America's Tire and came here after to get an alignment. Seems simple enough, but they didn't help the in any way seeing as they made it significantly worse. The mechanic even tried to blame it on the tires and tried to convince me that moving the tires from the front to the back was the problem. Kind of funny that I've never heard of rotating brand new tires. That's because it doesn't exist. They ended up saying that it's my fault that they don't know how to do it right. Now I've got a sedan that in order to go straight the steering wheel is aimed at the driver's side mirror. Oh, it also handles poorly now, especially at highway speeds. Steer clear of this shop, pun most certainly intended, if you value your time, vehicle, and money. Laughable business. Update: The owner calls me and says that they saw this Google review and want to tell me why I'm wrong. That's not how you do business let alone improve an experience from a review. I said I was not interested in speaking to them and hung up. He immediately calls back. Arrogantly attempting to coerce someone into changing a review about THEIR OWN experience is unacceptable and an act of harassment. I don't even feel safe now that they have my information. For good measure, it's not like I'm a person who know nothing about vehicles. I'd do not myself but obviously no one has to means to align a car in their driveway. Even if I was somehow wrong (which I'm not) this shop and its unbelievable behavior from the mechanic/owner have earned them a poor review. After giving a reasonable estimate, I was charged more to which I was ok with ( I don't mind paying for quality work ). What was bothersome is that I had to take my car back a second time and would have had to take it back a third had I not chosen to take it to another garage to have it serviced properly. Customer service was good about everything, and communicative, I even believe the quality of work is probably better if not rushed. read more

I truly can't say enough good things about Storck's. I made the mistake of buying an old Mustang sight unseen, and it arrived with multiple problems. Storck's was able to get it running great and treated me so much more than fairly. Another garage in Napa gave up on it, but they kept working until they found the problem and had it fixed. They spent far more hours in diagnosis than they charged for, and when a part failed they fixed it again under warranty. They are honest, do quality work and stand behind what they do. That is rare to find these days, and so greatly appreciated. For as long as I stay in the area, I am not going to take my cars anywhere else. I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee into the local dealership for a regular service review, oil change, etc. After waiting an additional four hours after the car was scheduled to be picked up, I received a call from the service technician regarding service that was recommended. The major component required(according to the tech) was a complete brake repair which included front calipers, pads, and rotors. Since the car did have 65k miles on it that seemed somewhat reasonable, but I was just a bit put off by the technicians attitude. Being a local resident and having had many occasions to use our local experts at Storck's, I called to make an appointment for an evaluation. I was able to get an appointment that met our schedule within a few days. That very same day I received a call from Anthony at the garage. He told me quite unequivocally that the Jeep did not need and was not even close to needing the $700-$800 estimated brake repair that the dealership was recommending. I am so very thankful to have the honest and qualified auto repair shop like STORCK's GARAGE in Napa. Please be aware of the lack of integrity of the local Jeep Dealership. While I was extremely angry and disappointed, I still have not made an appointment to meet with the local service manager, which I fully intend to do within the next month. Last Jan.my 2006 Trail Blazer began to have to wobble in the steering. I took it in to Tony. He made a quick survey and showed me where the problems were. It was easy to see the worn bushings, loose connections and worn spots. What really impressed me was his approach to how do the work, He noted the items that were a real safety issue, ones that were not critical and ones that were suggested to upgrade the steering. We agreed to do the critical right away. I brought in the next morning and left it for the day. Got a call about 2:30 and ready to go. I felt the prices were fair and worth the money. I noticed the difference immediately. About about a month a later, I set it up to come in for the additional work. Same good service and repair work. Steering felt even better, tighter and more responsive. About a week ago I heard a little "knock" sometimes when working the steering. I took it in and once again, Tony was right on it. He, and one of the other mechanics, spent 45 minutes going over every nut, bolt and connection. Afterwards, the "knock" was gone. I highly recommend Storck's. They have been in business for many years which adds to their good reputation. read more

Tim S. Almost a year ago, Storck's repaired serious front end damage to my small Mercedes and I haven't had a concern since. Because I was impressed with that repair at a very reasonable price and on time and with Anthony/ Tony's personable way of doing business, I went back for an estimate when I was due for an oil change. I had been going to a foreign car specialist for years so when Tony quoted me a price $20-30 cheaper than the specialists, I told him, "I'll take two." Possibly, since before Storck's did my front end work, my "Check Engine" light has been on. Using Autozone's diagnostic tool, I researched the code that showed up. But my car wasn't suffering any of the problems associated with that code and still isn't so I kept driving paying close attention for any signs of malfunction. But I recently got my registration renewal with a smog cert due and knew the "Check Engine" light would have to be dealt with. Five times Tony or his people spent ten or fifteen minutes trying to get the car in shape to pass the smog test without doing major repair and never charged me a cent. The work didn't prove successful but that wasn't Storck's fault. Finally, I had to face the repair but I needed it soon because I am moving a few hours away this very next weekend. Storck's was booked into the next week but Tony had the integrity to refer me to an import specialist/ competitor a couple blocks away. That shop was also booked but the owner knew something that actually saved the day. I went back to Storck's and had to bully Tony to take my check for an hour of his shop time. In a sentence, these are good people who do good work for a good price. I refer everyone I talk to to Storck's. You can't go wrong. read more

I am so happy to have found this place. When My 2009 Volvo surpassed its warranty period, I didn't know where to take it for service. I was referred here and I have since referred others. This is a family business and their reputation is gold. Recently, my low tire pressure light came on and I stopped in at a tire place to get them checked. The guy filled my tires and told me the front ones were absolutely dangerous to drive on and I needed new ones immediately. I then drove over to Storcks to double check. Anthony said they just needed a rotation. That's just one example. Every experience I've had with Storck's has been excellent. I was referred to Storks from my brother in law who does high end 4x4s and custom builds. He was to busy to fix my 2000 Ford Excursion that kept shooting out spark plugs. I sent my fiance and her parents in after getting reamed and overcharged elsewhere. They have been very pleased. When I decided to replace my engine I went and talked to Anthony at Storks. I told him what I wanted and expected. He was very honest and clear and gave me a price up front. After bringing my vehicle in they kept in constant communication about time and how the build was going. Some of my injectors needed to be replaced and so did some of the electronics. They paid for the electronics and I paid for the rest. The staff is highly skilled and fast as quality work can be. They do NOT just throw parts at your vehicle and charge you for it. These guys went above and beyond for me!!! It was a Friday evening around 6pm. My car wouldn't turn over. I asked the tow driver to take it to them and he said he couldn't leave it there on the street as their gates were closed. I called Steve who called one of the other guys that works there. He came and met us at the gate, unlocked the gate so the tow truck could leave my car on their premises. I am beyond appreciative as I had no way of leaving it there. Today I witnessed the worst customer service I have seen in my life. I'm going to tell everyone I know to avoid this business. The prior owners had a fantastic reputation, this is where you went to get things fixed, correctly, things have changed. My friend took his vehicle in for a brake problem. Their fix didn't work, the vehicle still pulled dangerously to the left. After doing a test drive and witnessing the problem, the response was, "your just dicking with us", unbelievable!!! read more

I have had plenty of work completed succesfully by them over the years; most recently my Prius for a break service, tire rotation and oil change. I tried to convince Anthony to swap out my shocks as I felt they could be upgraded. After taking the vehicle for a drive himself he disagreed. Here was the perfect opportunity for him to sell me something at my encouragement but he wouldn't, as it was uneccesary in his opinion. The definition of trustworthy! My daughters Subaru was pulling to the right in a dramatic way. It was more than a bit of a concern. My usual mechanic could not figure it out so I bit the bullet and took it to the dealer who told me that it needed $1500.00 worth of work. I am not sure why but I found it a bit hard to believe everything that they were telling me was true.
