Bellhop said don't worry, we have another company lined up for the next day. Bellhop calls back at 1500 saying that the other company fell through. I am left scrambling to find movers because they couldn't do their job. If you are doing a DITY, look somewhere else, don't waste your time with Bellhop.

CitySpace on Main Self Storage is a good place to get a storage unit. I've never personally had a…read moreunit here, but I helped a friend with theirs for several hours, and I thought CitySpace was great while I was there. It's a huge space (as most self storage locations are), but I found it easy to navigate. It's gated, and locked from within, so it seemed very secure. I helped my friend clean out her storage unit, organize everything, and dispose of many unwanted items. We had no issues pulling everything out of the unit, as the hallways are quite large. I really like that aspect of this location, because many other storage spaces I've been in have much more narrow hallway spaces, making it more difficult to move items in or out. I have also had experience with storage units where the doors are accessed from outside, so I like that in this location you have to enter through a gate, and then go into the building to access your unit. If you're looking to get a storage unit, I think CitySpace on Main Self Storage is a fine place to do it.

The storage units are inside and climate-controlled, which will be particularly nice when I have to get into my unit and move some stuff around in the winter and summer months. You can also pull your car into the facility to load and unload it -- again avoiding the high heat, cold, sleet, snow, rain, zombie apocalypse, what have you. The whole place is very clean, and the lady at the front desk has been nice and helpful. CitySpace is downtown and close to my home. Plus you can pay online. And I just learned that CitySpace also serves as a K-9 training center for the Louisville Police. Crazy stuff. The rental prices seem comparable, skewing a little high -- but again you get a lot of amenities for you and your stuff. The one thing I don't like is that I can't access my unit 24/7, but, then again, if I need into my unit at 3 a.m. something is likely very wrong ... or I've just procrastinated in some way.

I've just completed my third move (in 6.5 years, hopefully this is it for a while lol) with them and each time I have counted it 100% worth the cost. The guys arrive on time and handle your stuff with care. They moved my very heavy mirrored dresser - like backbreakingly heavy - down two flights of stairs in my old apartment and up another flight at my house without even a peep of a complaint. When I had someone coming to pickup some furniture I was donating while they were finishing up, they took a 15 minute break (which I do think they needed) and didn't charge me for that time while I was getting the other people situated. This kind of gesture is how you keep customers! A couple of doorframes were nicked in the process of moving in but all of the walls were perfectly fine and all furniture was setup in the spots I wanted it. Holders Angels' crew was polite and friendly and they went above and beyond to make sure our move went smoothly. They even flipped on their hazards and slowed traffic on 71 making sure the antique buggy that has been in my family for generations didn't shift in transit! We knew what was happening every step of the way and owner Alex was with the crew to make sure all details were covered. We had checked other moving company estimates and thought their estimate for our needs were fairly priced. To be fair we also did our part and got all of the furniture ready to move, cleaned out drawers ahead of time, cleared paths. It's a two way street to move well! After the move Alex checked in with us asking for feedback and to make sure we felt like everything was taken care of before he considered the job done. I would use this company again for future moving needs and I was happy to be able to support a local start up clearly working hard to provide the best possible service to their clients.
