Crew always showed up when expected and cleaned up at the end of the day. Showed up in all kinds of weather as our timeline changed into Fall/Winter 2025/2026. Changes were needed and change orders were always clear and presented that same day for us to sign. Costs on bid and invoices were clear. Solid communication from all members of the team. The final punch list was dealt with quickly. The team was creative as we needed to solve some issues with drainage and access. Had them add sod at the end and that project was done quickly too. They worked in variable weather (rain and sun), were on-time both days, kept us informed throughout the project, worked around our existing outdoor furniture, ensured our existing sprinkler system stayed intact, and cleaned up after they were done. They were respectful, nice, and very professional. Our french drain, dry well, and river rock installation looks fabulous. It was well worth the money. They are truly service-oriented from the moment you reach out to them, and it starts with Dan. He's friendly, responsive and provides detailed estimates immediately for whatever work is needed. We have a 5-zone sprinkler system with a combination of drip lines and sprinklers in the front and backyard. It's a funky arrangement that needed a serious upgrade. His crew (Marvin and Jose) are miracle workers! They are real problem solvers who managed to reroute some existing sprinkler lines, fix several hidden leaks and provide more water coverage in several zones. Marvin and Jose are a joy to watch. They really enjoy their work and it shows. Marvin will even sing while he's putting in new drip lines or tying off others, and nothing seems to faze him. Both men are polite, courteous and appreciative of drinks and snacks while they work. They say "Thank you, so much" every time. After spending the entire day at our home, we tested the system and everything worked well, but there were a few dry spots I noticed the next day. Dan came by today to collect payment and I showed him the areas where water wasn't quite reaching and he said, "No problem." Marvin and Jose will come back to make a few adjustments -- at no extra charge. Best of all, the new parts they install are guaranteed for 5 years instead of one. Who does that? We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second…read morefloor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid ($6600 for a 13'X16' 4" concrete patio w/ hot tub reinforcement), but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid.

The project manager and crew worked hard, did excellent work, and were communicative whenever I had questions or specific requests. We think that this wall will last a long time, and we've already received quite a few compliments from people in the neighborhood. The one area of improvement I would suggest: there were a couple times between when they first scoped out the project until it actually started (about a month) when there were delays in communication and I wasn't sure what was happening, if my email was received, etc. It wasn't a huge deal and they made up for it in spades, but just something to note.

We needed to replace a rotting railroad tie retaining wall, along with a shared fence and gate. Our…read moreneighbor also needed part of their front yard fence replaced. Artistic Landscapes was fantastic to work with. When Robert came out to provide the bid, he explained everything in detail, and we were kept informed throughout the process. They even started the job early. Jeve and his crew did a fantastic job removing the old wall and fencing, building the new block retaining wall, and setting new fence posts. The original retaining wall ran right up to the property line with the fence attached to it. We wanted the new fence to follow the property line, so the new wall was set slightly back from the property line with enough room that we can easily take care of any weeds that may grow between the fence and wall. Bonafacio and his crew built a beautiful new fence and gate. He also installed our gate so it would open wider than the old one. Both crews kept the work site extremely clean and they were very work-from-home friendly with the only noise heard was them working. Robert came after the job was done to do a final inspection of both the work and job site cleanup. He also gave us information on how to care for the new fence and retaining wall. I would not hesitate to use Artistic Landscapes again.
