One word... AMAZING! We stopped in the day we got into town and we were starving. We're both super picky when it comes to low country boils and Storming Crab didn't disappoint... We got every flavor for the sauce? Juice? Idk. Whatever you wanna call it lol. I will say the garlic was the best part. We got medium and wished we would have gotten hot or extra hot. The cheesy crab bread the server brought us at the beginning of our meal was awesome. Idk what the chunks of seasoning were in the bottom of our pan but I need a whole dish of just that to dip my stuff in lol. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!! And btw, one plate feeds 2!! Service was great, and it was awesome being able to write our names on the wall

Mary was a wonderful server. She made the experience so much better and we really enjoyed our time there. She went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met was great company. Would 100% come back if we didn't live in New Jersey. :) ps. If we do come back we hope to see Mary there again!!

This was one of the best seafood boils I've had! I got the dinner combo 4 with the Cajun seasoning and I liked that it wasn't too spicy. SO much flavor on each one and lots of meat. Some of the crawfish were quite small but the majority were normal sized. This combo fed two people so it was well worth it!

It is the only place in this county that has Alaskan King Crab Legs, and those legs were delicious. The staff was very friendly, and the service was fast. Most of the customers looked and acted as though they bonded out of jail that day. Not a safe feeling. The plentiful wall graffiti - encouraged by the staff - is very lower-class. The prices are too high, even for a tourist trap like Pigeon Forge.

Outstanding Experience! We had an absolutely incredible time at Storming Crab! The food was top-notch--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was our server, Tiffany. She was amazing from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and so knowledgeable. She made us feel genuinely cared for and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our kids absolutely loved her and so did we. They even took our photo at the table and gave us a keepsake photo to bring home. At the end of the meal they gave our kids something extra to remember their awesome time here. I honestly can't say enough good things about the service and the food. If you're looking for a fantastic crab boil experience, this is the place to go! We will definitely be back!

Family Combo, added 2 extra lobster tails, and subbed crawfish instead of the white clams.

Came here with the family for my mom's birthday while vacationing in Pigeon Forge. It was noon and not busy, but they had only been open for a couple weeks. The decor was cute and you could write on the walls. Our server, Dre, was amazing. He went above and beyond with our 7 member table. The food was amazing and huge portions. The first batch of the seafood bread is complimentary, and we got an extra order. Try the bread, you won't regret it! We got the Family Combo and subbed the white clams for crawfish. We should have kept the clams because we didn't care for the crawfish. We also added extra lobster tails to the combo. All the seafood was cooked and hot when it came out. We took about half of it home to the cabin and reheated it, tasted just as good. We got fried okra to share and it was delicious. For my mom's birthday they brought out a cool lighted sign, sang, and gave her a free ice cream sundae with a sparkler in it. Dre was amazing and all the staff was so friendly. We will definitely come back!

Food was ok, service was good but wasn't what the hype made it out to be. We were hoping for a little bit better quality in seafood.

Unfortunately we got our days mixed up and our reservation was the following day. However the hostess told us it was not an issue and still seated us right away moving our booking to the correct day. The food came out in a timely manner and our server was very helpful as well. I ordered the seafood lasagna and it was very flavorful. Personally if I were to come back, I'd order another dish that was more filling. The server raved about how good it was and she was correct. It did have a lot of flavor to it. However it lacked seafood in the shells. At some points, I felt as though I was only eating shells and sauce with tomatoes unfortunately. Upon finishing our meal, unfortunately my father became ill after sipping water and going down the wrong pipe. We were so embarrassed seeing as though we were sitting in the middle of everyone dining. However the staff were so kind resulting us that it wasn't the first and dropping everything they were doing to tend to us with wet napkins and checking on my father. While we were deeply embarrassed, it really meant a lot to us that you all made us your priority in that moment and I greatly appreciate you alls service!

As for the food, it was honestly pretty underwhelming considering how hyped this place is. The crab dip was okay, nothing memorable. The steak and lobster was disappointing- the lobster had that soft texture that overcooked or not-so-fresh crawfish can have. The baked shrimp wasn't bad, but definitely not something I'd order again. Strawberry shortcake was decent enough. Ironically, the bread basket ended up being my favorite part of the meal-absolutely delicious. The service, however, was genuinely warm and hospitable. It was a bit slow, but the staff was kind, friendly, and personable enough that it made up for it. That was honestly the highlight of the experience. Was I excited to try this place because of all the hype? Absolutely. Would I personally recommend it? Probably not.

The buffet was around $60 for all-you-can-eat crab legs, which sounded promising. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned, the crab legs were cold when we first got them. They were overcooked and lacked flavor. We did manage to get a fresher batch later, which was better, but still not great. The promotional video online clearly had some Hollywood magic--what we experienced was far from what was advertised. Overall, the buffet was a letdown. Much of the food wasn't fresh, most dishes were bland, and a few were downright inedible. The crab cakes looked like sausage patties and were just as tough. The fried oysters were slimy and mushy--not the kind of texture you expect, even for oysters. I love fried oysters, but these were a hard pass. The crab-stuffed flounder was bland, though the stuffing tasted more like what a crab cake should taste like. The frog legs were surprisingly decent and did taste like chicken. Mussels and clams were a disappointment. Green beans tasted like they came straight from a can, and the mac and cheese reminded me of frozen Stouffer's. The peel-and-eat shrimp were good, but the raw oysters were a disaster--visually unappealing and smelled off. And yes, September is an "R" month, so they should've been fine. We asked for fresher ones, and what we got still didn't pass the sniff test. I love raw oysters, but I wasn't about to risk it. Vegetable options were limited: mushrooms (which were good), canned green beans, corn on the cob, and fried okra. Service from our waitress, was hit-or-miss and didn't leave a lasting impression. The atmosphere was awkward--no music, just the hum of kitchen staff talking. It felt more like a quiet cafeteria than a lively restaurant. While that made it easy to chat with our party, it also made the overall vibe feel stale. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean. But for the price, it wasn't worth it--and we won't be returning.
