    Espresso martini & Mimosa flight
    Michelle R.

Walked in and quickly greeted and sat. The decor is so cute and definitely social media worthy. They offer lunch and dinner specials, such as the tea time. Will definitely be back to try! Cute for brunch, birthdays and special occasions. The espresso martini and mimosa flight was perfect! Also, give the adult green juice a try! Our breakfast was delicious, although it too awhile to come out. Overall a great first experience and will be back.

This place is so cute, being decorated with all things literary! My daughter and I went for tea on a Monday. The table scape was adorable and the food was great! Our server was very friendly and efficient! We each had our choice of a flavour of tea, so we had earl grey and ginger pear. For me, the ginger pear was a little overwhelming but the earl grey was delicious! I would definitely go back.

Walking into Story and my first impression was, as Benson Boone says, "..mystical, magical." Beautiful interior. Ample parking. Solid menu offerings. Fair to good service (depending on the server, I had the pleasure of meeting 2 on my visit). Spacious. Centrally located on the Boulevard as a prime meeting spot for large groups. The interior is so beautiful that any shortcomings almost take a back seat to the stunning interior. It's also so nice to see patrons consisting of couples, families, and those celebrating milestone gatherings. The restaurant garners a higher rating from me because of the overall dining experience and theatrics of their service combined with atmosphere, but also to note: Pricing listed on the regular menu is steep for the food quality. Happy Hour pricing is helpful in this regard. The Mediterranean salad was just ok, as were the buffalo wings. Wings were your standard fare (not flashed fried) and very crunchy. The salad sadly was soaked in dressing, I should have ordered it dry, so that was on me. Chicken and Waffles were super rich. The crostini was very tasty as was the banana dessert. I was overcharged for the crostini (happy hour vs. regular menu pricing) but the waitress did take care of it quickly. All this to say, this venue is a perfect place for celebratory occasions but don't expect the entrees to be the stars of the show, especially if you're dining with a food snob. I did not see the origins of some of the meat or fish dishes listed on the menu but then again our family are sticklers for locally sourced ingredients and prefer premium meats. Wine list is solid. Non-alcoholic drink options were magical and tasty. I enjoyed my experience but will return with the knowledge from my prior visit which will make for a stellar dining experience next time. Next entree to try is the burger!

We had a group of six women that went on a Friday for afternoon tea. Our server was delightful. The attention to detail in decor and the centerpieces was impressive. We selected our own tea from the available offerings. Good tea in cool packaging! Then we got tea pots of hot water to brew the tea in our cup to our liking. The food was delicious and exactly as described. This is my second time for tea there. I look forward to going again.

Finally booked a reservation for tea time here. My daughter, girlfriend and I had a delightful experience. Tea time is offered only on the weekdays . It's $40 a person ( plus tax and gratuity). The restaurant has whimsical decor to match the tea time vibe. I noticed many ladies got dressed up to have tea with their friends. The restaurant dedicated a section for tea time and the rest for lunch service. The servers were friendly and came around often to check if we needed anything and to fill our teapot. We were offered multiple tea bag options which was a nice surprise. A small printed menu was on the plate to say what we would be served . You start off with a glass of champagne! Food ,( savory pinwheel, cheese tart, ) fruit (stawberries& grapes) and sandwiches ( cucumber with cream cheese, chicken herb salad , ham and Dijon mustard) and pastries ( scone, danish& biscuit) were presented in the traditional way on a multi tiered dish. There were all sorts of delicious finger snacks . Everything was tasty and flavorful. We had an enjoyable time here . I think I'll bring my mom next time .

    Vegan Florentine Benedict

I really like that they have vegan swaps here without an up charge. It's really hard to eat breakfast out when one doesn't eat eggs. Anyways, I got the vegan Florentine Benedict. It tasted really good and was super filling. I took half of it home. I was confused by whatever the vegan hollandaise sauce was because it wasn't saucy and it seemed like something that curdled or was crumbly? Also, it came over toast for some reason.. the servers are friendly here. The decor is amazing. Kitchen can be a bit slow at times. Overall, a cool place! And I'll keep going for the vegan breakfast options!

Very beautiful and fun! I went with a group of friends for lunch and it was busy but not crazy. They got the chicken & waffles and let me have some - its a mini waffle and a fat tender, you get 4 of them with bacon jam - and they were very good. Savory and sweet and i think because it was a mini waffle you had a better ratio. I got the steak breakfast burrito and it was huge and also delicious. Did not reinvent the wheel or anything it was just a solid burrito. I also had the prickly pear mimosa - that was definitely a highlight because it was beautiful and sweet. Everything is a good portion. We shared the banana biscoff pie and even tho banana is not my favorite thing it was a very dense and sweet almost cheesecake kinda pie. Server was attentive. I think he had quite a few tables so i know he was doing his best and very friendly. I look forward to coming back for afternoon tea sometime soon. The decor is something else! Everywhere i looked i saw something new. Books and lovely art, flowers and butterflies. Chandeliers. Well stocked bar. Surprisingly a good amount of parking!

Made a reservation on OpenTable for 3pm not realizing that the mad hatter tea time ended at 3pm ‍. But the staff was so accommodating and so nice about it and didn't make us feel bad for making the wrong reservation time. The hostess and our waiter were awesome! And of course the kitchen staff for the delicious food. Parking was plentiful as well at the time we went. The Mad Hatter tea is $40 and come with so many pastries and sandwiches that left us all stuffed and happy. My faves were the cucumber sandwiches, apple butter, chicken sandwich, egg bites, and pastries. I ordered the jasmine green tea as well. The champagne on its own was drier but the little drink me bottle with simple syrup helped make it a little sweeter. For what you pay and what you get I really think it's an affordable amount compared to other tea places I've seen. This place makes for a great date night or if you're celebrating something special. Me and my friends enjoyed our time together with all the delicious treats and we definitely want to come back soon and try Story's other food and drink options!!

    Charcuterie board

This place was pretty good, I ordered the short rib with potatoes and steamed carrots. The gravy was flavorful. We ordered the charcuterie board as an appetizer. It was colorful and filled with lots of goodies. The service was great. The inside was a whimsical fun take on Alice in Wonderland. We came for the dinner. Considering going back to try the mad Hatter tea party. It was definitely a fun place perfect for date night.

My mom and I did the Mad Hatter's Tea Party for my birthday a few months back and I still can't stop thinking about it! The ambiance is so immersive, you can just tell how much creativity and love went into it. The tower set and tea were delicious of course. I'd like to go back once they've change their theme, or even to try out the restaurant/speakeasy sides. I will definitely be returning!

Enjoyed a late Mother's Day Tea here at Story. What a wonderful experience. The Mad Hatters Tea was beautiful. Our server was very attentive and kept the hot water coming. The tier of yummy treats were perfect. Very filling too!

We came to Story Bar + Kitchen for brunch and had a great experience. The décor is very cool, filled with storybook-style images and books, giving it an Alice in Wonderland vibe but for adults. It really sets a fun and unique atmosphere. My wife ordered the Horchata Matcha Martini, which she loved. I found it a bit on the sweet side, but that's just my preference, I like my drinks stronger. I ordered the Pork Chile Verde Chilaquiles, which I really enjoyed. The portion had plenty of meat, and while the sauce wasn't spicy, it had great flavor and came topped with two perfectly cooked over-easy eggs. My wife also ordered the Chorizo Burger, which was delicious. Overall, this is a great brunch spot, especially for groups. Fun atmosphere, good food, and a solid place to gather with friends.

Yes they do. Limited & tasteless

I dont think a small child would enjoy this. It's really for adults or maybe 10 year olds or older.

He made the reservations online with Nine Social but when he got the confirmation, it said for Macallans so he called and spoke to the manager and we got a table here. Wine list was extensive and since he knew a lot about wine.... I told him to just choose for me. We did a pinot noir to start and then went to a cab. The cab was great! I ended the night with a moscato. I ordered the mango tango and he ordered the wedge. Both delish! The mango tango had that sweet and salty blend perfectly. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse. It was really good! Service was excellent! They let you try the wine before you order a glass! They checked on us constantly and were really attentive. The place had an older feel to it and it's quaint. I like the coziness of it. They had live music going on and Tom the pianist did a great job! He sang to me when Tom was playing. Super sweet! Tom came over to introduce himself and told us about music nights and there will be singers there. We love this place so much we stayed until closing time. We were the last ones to leave! We were already talking about coming back for when the singers will be there. Our first time here... And definitely won't be our last!

Their front of house focus is the wine bar, but they also have a good cocktail and martini menu, as well as a nice selection of food items. The interior is warm and cozy with two different seating areas. The larger front area has bar seating, quite a few tables, and a lounge area in the back corner with several couches. There is another area in the back which is smaller, and houses their cocktail bar and a number of two seat high top tables. You can order anything on the menu from either area. We sat at the bar in front for some Sunday evening cocktails and small bites. We started out with the spinach & artichoke dip ($15). The dip came out very hot, was a big portion, and was very good. However, the menu said it came with toast points, but instead it was served with tortilla chips which were just ok. The advertised toast points or fresher tortilla chips would have made this appetizer better. My first cocktail was the Limoncello Martini (vodka, fresh Limoncello, lemon juice, $15). I usually love anything lemon and this was a good martini with light lemon flavor. She started with the Purple Martin Martini (vodka, raspberry puree, pineapple, $15). This was another good martini with light sweetness from the raspberry and pineapple, not a sugar bomb. We wanted a little more food, so we ordered the Caprese flatbread ($18). It was a good size, and the dough was great. It had a good amount of cheese and tomatoes, and I really liked the balsamic drizzle on top. However, it did not come with the basil that was listed on the menu. Next, I tried the Peperoncino Martini (vodka, Italian Peperoncino brine, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, $15). I loved this, one of the more unique martinis I've had. She liked her sip so much, she ordered her own for number three. Her second cocktail was the Carmel Apple Martini (carmel apple vodka, Licor 43, lemon, star anise, caramel cube garnish, $15). Most of the time, you would expect a caramel apple martini to be a sugar bomb, but not this one. The flavors were great with a light sweetness. And who doesn't like a caramel square treat? For my last one, I had the Cinnamon Sleigh (bourbon, cinnamon spice, maple, orange twist, $15). This was a good sipping finisher with light cinnamon notes and those great orange aromatics. KJ was our server, and she was very sweet and friendly. We came early in the evening and it was a little slow, so we chatting with her quite a bit. I'd take a half point off for the two food items not coming with the listed items, but rounded up to five stars overall. The bill had a 3% charge added for using a credit card. They have a music trivia night on Thursdays which would be fun to try. We enjoyed our first visit here, and will definitely return again.

We were even given rolls with butter as well. We actually chose this place because they have a cheese wheel and no one ended up ordering that. They also were very attentive and refilled our water without us asking. I got the rigatoni a las vodka with chicken, and my two other friends got the baked rigatoni and the fettuccine Alfredo. Our dishes were delicious and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the chocolate Gelato and tiramasu for dessert. Those were a perfect night cap to our dinner and catch up session. The restaurant is deceptively big and had a whole back area, I am guessing for large parties. It was very clean and we were able to catch up without any issues. I definitely recommend coming here for the food and excellent service.
