Our first time trying Mr. V's. Shrimp cocktail, two beef and reefs, steak, creme brulee... My brother in law and I were shocked when they brought out the beef and reef with TWO lobster tails. Everything was cooked to perfection. Steaks, including the filet mignon were so tender they could be cut with a fork. Lobster tails were large and cooked perfectly. We arrived just after opening so restaurant was relatively empty and quiet. Server was great, attentive and helpful with menu. Definitely a place that goes on our "do over" list. read more

Came through in a big group for my brother's graduation. Parking situation was tough. The customer service from the start was TOP NOTCH! We ate to our hearts content the entire way through. I got the pan seared halibut, which was decent and nothing to rave about. My brother got the cowboy steak and I tried a bit.. PHENOMENAL. My Tia got shrimp scampi.. AMAZING. My sister's boyfriend got something with chicken.. WHOA BOMB. The breads with butter was a great bit on top because I can take tons of that down! Lastly, the calamari was just great too. This place has been recommended quite a bit so we decided to finally try it. After figuring out parking, we only had to wait about 15 min. Our server was Jorge and he did a fantastic job. He was very helpful, had great timing, and was not overbearing. The food was excellent, other than the sides. Brussels sprouts were not worth the upcharge, nor were the mushrooms. My steak was cooked perfectly, had a beautiful crust, and seasoned well. The parm crusted Chilean sea bass was spot on. We of course had to order dessert and both were delicious. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe to it, perfect date night or celebratory location, while the bar is more causal and good for watching a game. Parking can be tough. Mr. V's is located next to a gas station on a busy retail driven corner of town. However, once you pull up you realize Mr. V's is a happening place. They offer complimentary valet parking, how great is that? My party of four had a reservation (a must) and as we walked in we immediately felt the energy as the bar was busy and the foyer was as well, with diners waiting to be seated. We were seated on the side of the restaurant where later that night entertainment was due to start at 1O pm ( this was Friday night). Our waiter, Jorge came and opened the wine we brought and answered our menu questions. Service by him and the bussers was impeccable, professional, warm and attentive. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were well executed, and we were out the door to our show in plenty of time. This place just isn't family friendly. We brought our 12mo old baby here for a 5pm reservation and we were met with side glances and gruff service. We were not welcomed from the start and it progressively got more rushed, clearly trying to turn over the table faster. We had our appetizer and finished our drinks and skipped the main courses. First time at Mr. V's! Started off in the lounge and they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. He is basically a one man band but he was so good! So good we will be back just for him. Food was good and servers were fast and efficient. The only complaint I had was I asked for dessert at 10pm while in the lounge/bar area and my waiter said the kitchen was closed and that that area was closing soon. Last call is 10:30pm yet the restaurant stays open till 1am. So after we cashed out we asked if we could sit on the other side where there are dinner tables and we were relocated. I was able to order dessert there. Seems weird as it is all one kitchen. Had the crème brûlée which was well worth moving to the other side for. In the restaurant side they had live Greek music which was different for us but we enjoyed it. Will be back to the lounge and to try more menu items. read more

When I tell you this place is TOP TIER BELIEVE IT. Birthday celebration i had THEE BEST TIME. The blackened salmon was the best I've had in my life. Seasoned to perfection moist, it was like butter baby. Oysters were fresh and BIG. BUT BABY THAT TUNA TARTARE YOU DONT WANT TO SKIP. Drinks were not to be played with they do not skimp on the liquor. We were going to see mean girls and hadn't made reservations at any place for dinner. We happen to see Mr. V's and strolled in hoping we could get in there. They were more than accommodating and we were able to get us a table right away. We were hoping for some Greek food and it turns out the owners are Greek. We had some amazing hummus, tzatziki, baked feta. Tamara was an amazing server. The place feels like an old school steakhouse. The food was delicious and service was amazing. Made reservations as they get busy! They have live music and that's a plus! We opted to enjoy our dinner in the dining room, as we wanted to be able to talk without the loud noise of the music. Service was a little slow, but friendly. Pricing is a bit too expensive but our meals were delicious. I had their chicken kabob plate and it was very tasty and plentiful. A very good meal!!! Some loud New York sounding guests, but good overall. Steak was a perfect medium rare and the shrimp were exceptional.

This isn't too far from our house, so we'll hit it up a few times a year. At a glance, it's a higher end steakhouse with an okay bar and red leather lined booths. We recently learned that it's owned by the Tam's Burgers titan who converted this once Chinese restaurant into the dinner location of his desires. The menu is all over the place...steaks/chops, Chinese (an homage to the former establishment), Greek (to celebrate the owner's heritage), pastas, seafood, etc. There is something for everyone. I will say that the aromatic shrimp and kabob plates are pretty tasty. What we didn't know is after 10PM on Saturday nights, this restaurant becomes a hubbub of Greek entertainment. A full band sets up in the dining room complete with singers brought in from Greece. The dining room is made into a late night supper club with plenty of Greek seniors who stroll in at 11/11:30PM to enjoy and dance the night away. These folks get down! I know where I'm going if I need a good meal and some people watching late Saturday nights. read more
