This is a great sandwich spot. Honestly nothing to complain about. People complain about a long line, well it's a brand new spot in a popular area what could you possibly expect? I go during times it's not too and only wait 10-20 minutes in line. It's not like you have to wait for ur food to be ready after that. It's super nice inside and easy to take to go. I just got back from a month long trip to Italy and the food I've been missing the most are the focaccia deli sandwiches. I was so excited that this place opened up just in time for my cravings and it did not disappoint! It was better than most (not all) of the Italian deli's we visited in Italy. I really wanted to like this place. We came here on a Friday evening, and the line wasn't too long. We waited for about 15 minutes to be served. They have a pretty diverse menu, and there are a lot of options for any taste bud, along with the robust kids' menu. They also have alcoholic beverages and a nice wine list, so that's also a plus. I got the Tuscan ham sandwich, and my partner got the turkey artichoke spread. Both of us felt as though the sandwiches lacked adequate seasoning, mainly salt. It seemed like there was no additional seasoning put into any of the spreads, the bread, or even the deli meats themselves, which were tasteless, even for a ham, which is really supposed to be salted relatively well. It culminated in a bite that was rather disappointing. The focaccia was fine, but again, it lacked any semblance of seasoning or salt. I think if I come here again, I would request extra salt to be put on my sandwiches. I do urge the owners to reconsider and revisit the seasoning for the individual components to make it come alive a little bit more. read more

This sandwich in every aspect knocked my socks off. Inside is set up perfect, looks great. They have like 13 people behind the counter getting after it, fresh bread out of the oven brushed with olive oil. Staff absolutely on point. Sandwich is big and not over the top thick, great price. The soda machine definitely needs to be moved to the other side in that far corner. There is too much traffic at the door and it's a pain to get to the drink station when it's busy. The sandwiches are good and especially the baked bread but I didn't know the pickles were sweet which was a bummer, don't really like the sweet one's. It would be nice to serve the regular pickles as well. It was my first time in this establishment and I would try something different from what I ordered but overall the sandwich was good. Average. Not worth the wait as of right now. Service was great, employees are very personable and nice. Best part of the sandwiches is the fresh baked bread, delicious and toasted perfectly with that crunch I love. I got the Tuna (that's how I judge a sandwich place, my standard) and all it had on it was the tuna and their marinated peppers. No condiments or sauce, or toppings which made for a very dry sandwich. Also got the Pesto Turkey, this one wasn't as dry (still no sauce other than a light spread of pesto) but it was so bland! I was hoping for more since this place was so hyped up, but if I'm gonna be spending $14 I'll just go to Deli D. This Sandwich place is good. Decent quality. Focaccia Bread is good. Nothing over gold and nothing below average. Now, if you customize your sandwich with any spread any toppings and meats without adding on 3-5 dollars extra, this place may just be a 4 or 5. Fair price, but long wait time and loud and cramped space. I did try all the sandwiches and my favorite is the Turkey Brie with extra roast tomato, extra sweet peppers and an extra spread of artichoke, but keep in mind this is a 16-17 dollar sandwich by itself and it barely get me full. Keep it up, the restaurant won't be my usual but I do recommend people to try it and support the business and I will eat here once in awhile if I am ever near there. read more

Wonderful experience! The wait was a little rough but it's opening month ‍ so I'm sure things will get smoother! The wait was 100% worth it tho!! The sandwiches were very high quality with fresh baking bread, right in front of your eyes :) service was great and all my interactions with staff were helpful and pleasant. This was my second time at Strada's and while waiting in line and looking over the menu I decided to experiment and found a sandwich I hadn't seen before and the additional ingredients were appealing so I ordered it. It's the roasted turkey and salami sandwich with provolone, tomatoes etc. including a spicy relish. When I tried to described the ingredients to my wife and looking at an original menu we had I discovered this is something new that has been added and isn't even shown on their website or Yelp. LA also has some delicious Italian sandwich spots, and many of them tend to be much more generous with the amount of meat they include. I visited Strada today and had such a disappointing experience. I have Celiac Disease and asked if I could order a sandwich with no bread. The sweet gal working the door went to ask for me while I stood in line. She approached a lady at the front that seemed to be in charge. When she asked, this lady looked inconvenienced and quickly and abruptly said "no". She said they had no plates and no bowls and I could not be accommodated. Wow! It was ok. Not worth waiting in a line out the door for. First of all, the location on Apple Maps is way off. The sandwich's were just ok, I expected it to be more like a hot sandwich from the looks of it and that would have been better in my opinion. Also, I realize pesto has oil in it, but the pesto left the sandwich just drenched with oil which made it really messy and not that good. They only offer chips as a side which seems underwhelming.
