I just wish you could refill popcorn that wasnt large. If you want to sit somewhere its first come first serve which could suck if you dont get there early enough. I've seen movies in the regular theaters as well as the Dolby. The seats in the regular theaters are fine, I've definitely sat in worse. The Dolby is really where it's at. It's hard to go from the Dolby experience and then back to regular chairs and screen. But, the place is pretty clean and the staff are nice.

The seats and trays were not that clean and popcorn remained from prior showings. Also I didn't love that I couldn't put my own butter on my popcorn, I like to layer the butter on. Would I return yes but only to shows with little seats occupied as I would like the option to be able to change my seat if needed.

The seats were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, the staff had a positive friendly attitude and the snack bar was well stocked. The only negative feature were that the escalators weren't working and a number of people had difficulty navigating the quantity of steps to get to the theater. Elvis, the movie was stupendous. The photography was breathtaking, the music was amazing, the acting was awe-inspiring, the story was spectacular and overall Elvis the movie was very impressive. The cast is to be commended as it was evident that a huge amount of effort went into transporting you back in time. It would be most appreciated if the theater would make an effort to bring back more movies like this one. Out of 14 theaters, at least one could be for people who enjoy a story that doesn't include violence, profanity, deafening sound effects or a bizarre story line.

Management's got your back and doesn't disturb any of your fun. I think it's the best place to go in Connecticut. You can also buy snacks or soda if you wish. There's some great seating as well as private areas for us to gather for a little more privacy. I highly recommend the Fairmount Theatre!! There are men of all ages - most of them are middle age to older gentlemen. It tends to be busier in the a.m. to early afternoon, then picks up in the evening hours after 5 p.m. But anytime you go, you can find someone that enjoys adult films the way most of us who go to adult theatres do! I don't think you'll be disappointed. I know I never am!
