I have used streamlight products for over eight years now without any issues. Last month was my very first problem. An older 65018 Stylus LED penlight had broken from A LOT of use. I didn't really expect much when I wrote Streamlight to inquire about warranty repair or replacement. I no longer had the receipt. I did not know if the original light was even had any warranty covereage left. To my tickled surprise I not only received a rapid response to my query, I also received rapid resolution to the request. I sent Streamlight my broken flashlight. They sent back a brand new replacement. The new LED light is even better than the one I originally purchased. The new light also came with the hard to find "AAAA" batteries. I have owned one streamlight LED for about seven years and another for six. The older flashlight wouldn't turn on so I sent it back east, was called when it arrived with an estimate. The only problem was a dead battery but they installed a new switch kit and LED F/C kit for no charge and no freight back to California. Talk about 5 star customer service, I am impressed. I purchased a Streamlight TLR8 (a weapon mounted light with laser) over a year ago. Due to my negligence, the lens became very cloudy to the point of the light was dim and not as bright as it should be. Last Wednesday, I sent an email to Streamlight stating that the lens was very cloudy and it was entirely my fault. I asked if I could purchase a new Facecap Assembly and what the cost would be. That same day, I received a response from Lesley at Streamlight. She said she would send me a new Facecap Assembly as an accommodation. In today's mail ( the following Monday) I received the new assembly. Just wanted to give a shoutout to Lesley and Streamlight for the outstanding customer service. Due to the damage being my fault I was more than willing to pay for the new part. It's nice to know there are still companies out there that take care of their customers without hesitation. Disappointed. Ordered 8 Stinger DS flashlights for employees. Received only with DC charger for vehicles. We work on Navy ships. $900 and no AC charger. We're a military organization and cannot issue these lights for personal use to charge in their own vehicles. read more

Bob went over and beyond , I sent two flashlights to be repaired, they were delivered somewhere else, Streamlight sent me two brand new flashlights at no cost which they were not obligated to do so, So I made a claim with FEDEX, two weeks later they denied my claim FYI my package was signed for I shipped it through Postal Annex, FEDEX was aware of that after a month has passed FEDEX told me that I had to file a claim through postal annex so I went to postal annex and to find out that my flashlights were sent back to postal annex by Streamlight and they repaired both of them. It was my fault that I didn't put my information inside the box prior to shipping them . I called Streamlight and informed them that I didn't do so I gave them the tracking number and they were keeping an eye out for them. Thank you very much Bob read more

I've had a SL sidewinder flashlight (and loving it) for some time when I thought; well, an IR led is actually not very handy for me, I'd rather have a red led instead. I figured I'd 'macgyver' that IR out and solder in a new red led... Well, I f'ed up and ended up shorting the electronics board:P When I mailed SL customer service with this story I got a response immediately saying; what's your address we'll send you a replacement free of charge!
