The pasta sienna with salmon extra spicy is delicious. The service always feels like going home & sharing a meal with family. The ambiance is upscale but refreshing & very relaxing.

    Seafood Stew... delicious!!! :P

Ok the system glitched... it added my update and completely removed my actual original review :(( So.... we came here last week and were so happy!!! The ambience was as we remembered, really nice spot for lunch, dinner, great covered patio area for events... the service was great the food delicious! As in my photos, you can see we ordered the bruchette, salad, rolls, spaghetti and one very large meat 'a' ball :)) I had the seafood stew, which in my previous review remarked it was the BEST seafood stew/entree of anywhere else I've ever been, from Seattle to SF to Vegas etc... even in Canada... I love seafood but many times you will order it and regret it because the seafood is overcooked and rubbery... nothing worse than eating chewy seafood... THIS was Succulent, soooo good, I was drooling just thinking about it now... I wish I could order a big pot of the sauce..(or get the secret ingredients for the sauce ;)) ... ) We really loved the food... service was great too... very prompt... I also did a takeout order for a calzonne... it had cheese rolled into the crust... my guy and I shared it for dinner, it was Very Large...delicious... and still only eating a half of the calzonne...I was stuffed.. Again...if you really want some great Italian food, go to Strings Italian Cafe.. you won't regret it... :)) We will be back...

Tasteless, small portions and pricey. You're better off cooking a box of Pasta Roni at home. At least it would have flavor.

It's quieter and less busy. You can tell the staff take pride in cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. The pasta is definitely fresh/ homemade. I disagree STRONGLY with the other review that suggested it's pasta-roni style sauce. The ingredients are fresh and food was good. We've tried the Rigatoni, Gnocchi, Lasagna, Fettuccine, Lobster Ravioli, Mango Panna Cotta, and Torta Al Cioccolato and their fresh hot bread; all were enjoyable. When we've come the staff took some time to tell us a bit about the family history- passed along traditions and it's clear the recipes as well. This is a family-oriented legacy for these folks. And there's honor in that. If you're into just food, vibes, and low prices- this is NOT your venue. This is a place to celebrate a family (the owners) sharing a bit of themselves with you and yours. Note- people who complain typically mention price without thinking it's not just the food cost, but the lease, utilities, the insurance, staff wages. You're not going to get out to dinner here less than $60 for 2 (with a nominal tip and no booze). But THATS THE POINT- I'm thankful for the care, time, and heart that is put into each dish. We will be back and share this oddly-located, pretty tasty place with our friends and family.

I can't eat a lot at one time, so despite some adverse reviews I'd seen online about the fried calamari and shrimp, I went ahead and ordered it-and I'm so glad I did! It was hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked-not greasy at all! My hubby had the meatball sub-despite it not really being available during dinner hours, but he's not really a fan of pasta, so the waitress (and chef) kindly made special accommodations for him. We didn't ask, they helpfully offered to do so. Hubby said the red sauce was really good, and he enjoyed the sandwich. I felt bad because they appeared short staffed for the amount of business they had, and they had run out of a few things, but the pressed on gamely and made the best of it. All of the staff was kind and very helpful. We will definitely be going back again soon! I want to try the yummy sounding seafood risotto.

She took our order and recommended some of her favorite dishes, which turned out to be great choices. The food was very good. I had the spicy shrimp and salmon pasta, and I really enjoyed it. It seemed the restaurant was short-staffed, and she handled the busy evening with a positive attitude. Overall, the restaurant offers great value for the quality of the food and service. It was Cesar's first time there, and I told him he wouldn't be disappointed. When the food came out, his portion was noticeably taller than the others, but I didn't think much of it at first. As we started eating, I noticed both Misha and Cesar pushing most of the pasta aside. When I looked closer, the majority of the dish seemed to be mostly ricotta cheese. Neither of them ate more than a few bites before stopping altogether. I politely let the waitress know the lasagna just didn't seem like the quality we were used to. She immediately took the plates to the back and brought us the bill, still charging for all three dishes. I asked if I could speak with the manager, and she told me she was the manager. I explained that we were simply disappointed with the meal and would have gladly shown what the issue was, but she told me the dishes had already been thrown away. She said she had shown the chef and that he makes it the same way every time. She eventually removed two of the lasagnas from the bill, but then came back and said the chef's response was, "If you never come back again, that's fine." That honestly surprised me more than the food itself. I've owned a business for 30 years, and I can't imagine ever responding to a customer that way, especially a returning one. I'm not writing this out of anger -- just genuine disappointment. We had always enjoyed coming here, but after tonight, unfortunately, we won't be returning.

The menu isn't too big but they do have a menu for lunch and a separate menu for dinner, the dinner menu has a bit more offerings. The prices are a little on the high side but the quality and taste of the food justifies those prices. I have been trying to come to this food truck for a month or so now but I'm usually in the area on the says they are closed which are Sunday through Tuesday. They also are only open for dinner on Saturdays from 4pm - 8pm. I happened to pass by during dinner hours on a Friday and immediately stopped. The dinner menu had a variety of items such as fettuccine alfredo, penne romano, penne pesto, shrimp linguini, chicken parmigiana, chicken marsala and many other pasta/chicken & fish dishes. They also had a kids menu, various sides and drinks. I decided against getting my basic fettuccine alfredo and instead got the penne pesto, I was told that the pesto is made daily and it's one of the most popular dishes on the menu. The penne pesto was so delicious, the sauce was creamy, nutty and had such a good flavor and was not too oily. The pasta was cooked to perfection and was topped with fresh parmesan and parsley. I definitely could taste that the pesto was made from scratch. The dish also came with fresh baked garlic bread that was so divine. It was light and airy, had the right amount of garlic flavor and tasted even better dipped in the pesto sauce. Overall, I'm so glad that I gave this place a try and I will be back when I'm in the area and craving pasta. I now have two amazing Italian food trucks that are my go-to in the Central Valley, Braulio's did not disappoint!
