Loza is very aesthetically appealing, with hanging flowers and diamonds from the ceiling. It's beautiful. The outdoor patio is quite large and for a warm day, it's shaded and comfortable. They have a fun drink menu, and do mimosa flights with unique flavors. I tried their red sangria and enjoyed it, it's not too sweet and more tart. My friend had the lemon drop, and at first it wasn't the proper color of one it was more orange than yellow. We had an accident with the baby and he knocked over the drink and water and they were kind enough to remake her the cocktail and the next time around it was the correct color and tasted better. The food menu also had unique items, I was intrigued to try a few things! We started with the ceviche, I really liked it! Typically I always go for chilaquiles so I was torn but I decided to be different and since it is a crepe place I went with the mushroom and bacon crepe. The sauce they use on the crepe is decently spicy, so if you're spice sensitive I recommend getting it on the side. My friend's daughter had the breakfast crepe and it also had the same sauce and she had to eat around it, but she trooped through! Had a girls brunch at Loza on Friday morning and honestly... such a vibe. We got seated right away, and although they initially sat us inside, we asked to move outside for the aesthetic. The staff was super accommodating about it, which we really appreciated. This was our first time here and let me just say... it's so cute! The outdoor area has great lighting, pretty setup, and perfect for pictures. We started with a mimosa flight and some steak fries to share (10/10 combo btw). The service was a little on the slower side, but our server was super friendly, and honestly, it worked out since it gave us plenty of time to catch up and take more photos. For my entree, I got the salmon and let me tell you, I was gagged. It was amazing! The sauce was so yummy and full of flavor, the salmon was perfectly cooked, and I left feeling so full and happy. This location was the best place to hold my daughter's baby shower. We had eaten here a few times. We tried the crepes, pasta, dessert, and breakfast. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The ambience was perfect. The staff were friendly, kind, extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. When we vetted them for our shower venue they immediately connected us with, Ellen, their event coordinator. Right from the start Ellen was attentive, professional, and detailed. They hosted 43 people in our party. We had a choice of salad or appetizers, 1 of 2 different main dishes, and 1 of 2 different desserts, both of our choosing. We also added a mimosa bar and 2 charcuterie boards. The cost of the entire venue, menu, and gratuity were more than reasonable. The day of our event was magical. Very little was needed for decorations as it's already beautiful set. They printed out individual menus for each of our guests. They took everyone's individual order and made accommodations for those with food preferences. My daughter, the mama, was unable to eat meat since pregnancy. Ellen and her staff made a special plate just for her. They also allowed guests to order drinks off the menu. The location was beautiful and perfect for my girl. Guests were also able to take their meals home if they wanted. Any food left from the charcuterie was given to us. Our guests were impressed with the decor, the food, and service. Everyone was pleased and happy with everything. The place was clean as well as the bathroom. I would absolutely recommend Loza Wine & Crepes for any shower or birthday party. Some people say it taste better than it looks. But at loza we say it look better than it tastes. Just because the hasbrowns look red doesn't mean they taste good. They tasted like charcoal aswell as cold and undercooked. Instead of coming to me and asking if I would like to change my order, the waitress brings me my food and says, "We are out of ice cream, so you just get whip cream." She walked away. Is this her first day on the job? Horrible customer service. She barely came to our table. We got there at 10a.m. today. It's Friday. There was only four other tables with people there. Some of those people were sat after we ordered. And the only options they have at the bottom of the receipt for suggested tip are 18%, 20%, 25%. She didn't even deserve 15. This place does get very popular/busy so be prepared for a wait if you are coming during peak hours. They have a great selection of soda, juice, beer, wine, and various mimosa flavors to choose from. They even have flights! Of course, if you are to come to Loza I do recommend trying the assortment of mimosas or cocktails. With a big order we got a side of fries, the Jalapeno Pita Club, Seared Rib Eye Steak, Pesto Pasta, the Classic Crepe, and the B.E.C.A. Everyone in the group was really enjoying the food and drinks. With only positive compliments here it was safe to say that all the food and drinks were done. Each of the food was created with perfection and cooked very well. My rib eye steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare and the chimichurri sauce is to die for. The Classic Mimosa Flight was shared and everyone enjoyed the taste plus agreed it was still pretty "strong". Another positive tip is that this location also has an automatic fly fan to scare away the bugs. Luckily, they still had one and our server brought one out for us during this summer time. I'm am really disappointed. My husband and I used to come here all the time with great experiences. People give us gift cards because they knew we liked it...but that was 4 years ago. Then we got seated but waited a whole 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or gave us waters or drinks. Once someone finally came up, we gave them our whole order, both drinks and food. We asked to speak to a manager, and they told us that they are understaffed and currently hiring to help. My sister was looking for a job, so I sent her there, then they had the audacity to say they weren't hiring. So the manager is was giving lame ass excuses. This is such a shame. Hate to give a bad review but had the worst experience here yesterday. We were sat next to the dirty dishes and honestly could not eat my food due to the flies. Employees park in most of the available spots in and around the shop. I ran some extra errands hoping some spots would open up, but to no avail. I got back @ 1130 to see if parking had improved. Staff was speaking and laughing to reckless abandon as I triednto get someone's attentionm. I had to approach kitchen in Español to finally get service after wandering around restaurant. It turns out restaurant staff was parked crossing the lines marked behind restaurant which took up two spots. So....I at first had to park poorly behind another vehicle.....I wish I had taken pictures!!! I attempted parking in the one available space, but it just wasn't going to work....so....I parked very badly behind another vehicle. I walked in to the restaurant realizing that no other patrons were in the restaurant, but I did bring to their attention that a vehicle had parked very poorly which prevented my ability to park into an available space. The receptionist was willing and able to find the poorly parked staffer, but I was then asked to re-park my vehicle (mind you that this was on a 30-minute lunch that I extended with my employer who penalized me for every minute of missed return to work). No offer was made to see if there was something that could get started while I used the restroom. No offer was made to see if I could get any service of some type. And so....while another couple got their order ahead of mine....i watched as my allotted lunch time tick away and was forced for a boxed version. I was on limited time (30-minute lunch). This then resulted in me requesting a very limited lunch order and a to-go box to come with my meal.....which didnt happen...and then an immediate dump of what was supposed to be my lunch into a to-go box....which had to go cold....which had to be microwaved....BTW....I still left a generous tip over 20% because I know what it is like living off of tips in addition to wages... read more
