One of the previous reviews recommended the chicken sandwich and, let me tell just tell you, if you think the Popeye's chicken sandwich is good, prepare to have your taste buds rocked! Stripes' famous buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with their house green chile ranch Will. Blow. Your. Mind. I have no problem saying that it was the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever eaten! The chicken finger basket is a rip off I have been getting it ever since they came out. I just got it today and asked for a large with extra fries and got the same amount of fries and 2 small chicken fingers. Would not recommend getting the chicken here just disappointing for how much you pay for it. If stripes needs to get good at one thing it would be sticking to burritos because their chicken has lost them a customer. Went to grab a cup of coffee Saturday morning drive thru was not busy it was about 7am. I ordered a hreakfast Burrito to try the food. I was disappointed. The potatoes were burnt to a crisp and very stale. The green sauce tasted gross!! I know for a fact that the ingredients could of been way better! But o know once people start going threw that drive thru it will be your money maker....... oh give pinion coffee......that will reel lthem in. A giant Burrito has to be great . This is hands down the best chicken sandwich in town and the fries that come with it are heavenly. I was excited to try the breakfast burrito since they named this location "stripes Burrito Company". I've tried the breakfast burrito 3 times now and have decided to get my breakfast burritos somewhere else. The main let down on their breakfast burrito is the potatoes. Every time I have tried one the potatoes were undercooked to the point of not being tender and had a pronounced raw potato taste. These baby's are $8 so one feels ripped off while eating partially raw potatoes for breakfast. I hear the biscuits are awesome but they are not served at the Juan Tabo location. Drop the burritos and bring on the biscuits. There are plenty of great places to get breakfast burritos quite near this location. The closest place to get an awesome breakfast biscuit sandwich is your stores on Gibson or Academy. Stick to what you've mastered. read more

The burritos here are insanely good, made fresh to order, they don't mind customizing. Friendly staff. My 2 big issues however is 1) lack of uniformity, IOW you can order 2 identical burritos, yet might end up with one monster sized and one which is so under filled, the fillings are shaking around in it's tortilla like a maraca. 2) the parking is very problematic if the drive thru is busy, which at the time, it was. I could not leave my parking space without backing into the drive thru line. Luckily the line made space for me to get out, but it wasn't over yet. Since it was my first visit, it was not immediately apparent to me how to get out. The lot traffic is set up like a one way horseshoe. It first appeared as if the only way was to go into the drive thru line snaking all the way around the building. When finally did see a way out, I nearly had a collision with the car that was exiting the drive thru window. Maybe next time I will call it in and try to park across the street, seems like much less hassle. I'm not even kidding read more
