I was greeted by a young man, Phoenix (I hope I'm spelling his name right) in a very pleasant and non aggressive way. He was very helpful and informative without making me feel pressured at all. I test drove a beautiful car and when we got back to the shop he told me that I could take it to my mechanic while he pulled up the Carfax on it. I was still unsure about the car when I left the dealership, but I was sure about one thing: this is my kind of used car dealer. Helpful, honest, accommodating, and absolutely no pressure. Phoenix even told me a story about Guy (the owner) that made it clear to me that people are more important to him than money. I didn't make the purchase that day, but Phoenix did not pester me with phone calls or emails like a lot of dealers would. He called me one time a couple of weeks later and was again very polite and respectful. I located a car privately, but I have a high regard for the way they do business. Aldo, the day I bought this truck, it was a very sunny day, did not notice the paint on the hood is screwed up, until I got it home to wash it, standing up on a stool, the paint job is streaked, drive to hobblit, you are going to have to find a place to get it fixed, we don't have a body shop, I called a few places, got the same thing, I am just wanting to advise you to ask about the warranty, the transmission, if the vehicle fails what do you guys cover. Keep in mind, check the paint job out, if something is wrong with the paint on your vehicle, hoblit as stated by them, they cannot fix the problem, I was told by one of the guys that worked there, you used the wrong soap.....what??? Why then isn't the rest of the paint on the truck all streaked then? I called hoblit yesterday, August 13, 26, asked to speak to the owner, a young guy answered the phone, response was, nobody is here, nobody? No, not one person, this is a quote. I just called a few minutes ago to talk to Chris hoblit, he's not here, as I have mentioned, when I call, management will not come to the phone, when I complained about this harsh shifting, nobody at hoblit would not help me, I alllllways got that is the way it shifts, you will get use to it. Hoblit finally, now that my truck is out of warranty, checked the transmission, they stated nothing is wrong, I wished anyone reading this could hear this truck shift into reverse, how it surges when driven, not like what I am reading on line about these trucks, how people are getting a run around, I strongly advise you to do some on line searching for this and yes, Ford is still selling these trucks, you buy one, I guarantee you are buying one big headache, everything I stated here is the truth, now I am very worried about driving this truck, it should not be this way, not driving nor taking any long road trips either!

While traveling home from Oregon I noted a dealership in Colusa and tried calling. I spoke with Ryan Larson and ended up stopping by to have my pickup appraised. I was greeted by Ryan and Sales Manager Zach in the lot. We made a gentleman's agreement on a handshake regarding my trade in, since they were going to have to locate a truck for me. The following day, a pickup fitting my need was located and brought to the dealership. I live over two hours away and had to put a lot of trust into Ryan to ensure everything was correct.
