My piercer was Xia Key, and she was super laid back and professional. The receptionist did a great job of going through and showing me jewelry options, because I wanted my current stud changed to a hoop. Their jewelry is of very good quality, so it can get super pricey, but we found pieces that I liked that fit in my budget. Xia did a fantastic job and my piercing is healing well! read more

I had previously been pierced by Alex at Adorn East in September and wanted to downsize and get another piercing. I made an appointment online (there are more availabilities for uptown than there are for the East location). I was the only customer when I stopped in around 5pm on a weekday. I initially wanted a rook piercing after looking at inspo photos on instagram. However, Ben looked at my ear anatomy and told me that a rook wouldn't showcase well. He had a few other suggestions. I appreciated that he was looking out for what would look best for my ear. They have a huge selection, so it was hard to pick just one. Once my earrings were sanitized, Ben selected the perfect place for my conch piercing. I like it so much! He gave me back my long backings and said I could use them for when I got more piercings for a discount (just bring them a few days earlier to be sanitized). There's an ATM machine right next to the register, if you didn't bring enough cash. I am looking to curate my ear so it looks more balanced. The conch piercing & 2 downsizings came out to ~$300. I've enjoyed my experience so far at Adorn, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable & experienced place to be pierced. read more

I loved the location. I drove up from Portland. The building was lovely. I enjoyed the porch, plants, and the style of the decor. I enjoyed the old house with the piercing pics in the piercing room. Everyone was knowledgeable and kind!  I'm sorry to say I forgot their name, but the person who helped me select my earrings was patient and reassuring. They looked up pricing and info for me multiple times. I truly ended up with jewelry I love. This process included me changing my mind on one of the earrings after they already took them back to the piercer. They handled it graciously and reassured me. I was so grateful! Dae was patient and supportive of me having a positive experience. I have a heat sensitivity issue and was embarrassed about it. Dae was kind and turned on a fan for me. He balanced being attentive without making me feel like the only focus of the room, which could have made me uncomfortable. It was obvious that he was trauma aware. He was respectful of personal space and fun to talk with!  I especially noticed all of this because I am trained and have trained others in support and customer service. THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS Save yourself time, money, and frustration- only go to Adorn!!!!!!! After two failed attempts (and $100) to replace my lost nose piercing with something that I found attractive, I made an appt. with Billy Wood at Adorn Uptown. I knew he was the perfect fit for me bc his business card read "the devil is on the details." I am a professional in my 40's and it is important to me to have a classic, understated, delicate appearing piercing. I don't have much experience with nose piercings, so I didn't realize the detail that was needed to secure my goal of discrete and classic. Two alternate piercing studios this week left me w metal hanging out of my nostril from a corkscrew style or a piece that was too big, despite asking for "the smallest size you have" and no clarification that that was a 2.0mm rather than the 1.25-1.5 I was looking for. Every time I looked on the mirror I saw poor aesthetic and wasted time and money. It drove me nuts. The staff at ADORN uptown was friendly, helpful, and willing to answer all my questions. When Billie came out, he immediately made a recommendation that would make my piercing blend better with my skin tone. He addressed my concerns directly and displayed pride in his craft by being honest with me: in order to have the smaller size you want, you need to let the swelling from the previous two replacements subside. He chose integrity over profit, something that I had yet to encounter on this adventure. He was friendly, reassuring, and did not make me feel guilty or act like I was an inconvenience. He genuinely wanted me to love my purchase and it showed. I immediately felt comfortable and supported in my quest for perfection He made a full examination of my swelling, current hardware, and came up with a plan. He really went above and beyond. I will never go anywhere else, I don't care if I have to fly. I can't wait to return in two weeks and have a piece of jewelry I love looking at every time I see my reflection. Finally, if it is important to you to take Covid precautions, staff were wearing masks at the time of this review- which demonstrates common sense as well as concern and care for the welfare of themselves and others given the current spike in cases and close proximity of the procedure. First off, she talked with my daughter - addressing her directly - about the process and opened up lines of communication from the start. She was INCREDIBLY patient with my daughter's questions and nerves. A pleasant surprise when my wife and I were scheduling this was their emphasis on consent. They don't allow clients under the age of 8, which after thinking about it more I HIGHLY respect. My daughter knew that she was the driver of the experience, if she didn't want the piercing, she knew she could say so. My friends and I all wanted to get piercings. We were all seen by Luke! He was very nice and attentive. He listened to what we wanted and what was possible. I wanted an industrial piercing but my ear anatomy wouldn't allow a normal industrial so he offered me some modifications so I could still get one if I wanted. Love it! And honestly it didn't hurt as much as I anticipated! I got to choose the ends of my industrial bar which were these amazingly cute opal gems! They shine so well! My other friend got a daith and she loves it! My last (birthday girl) friend received two helix piercings! Man do they shine! We had no issues with parking. Just a reminder they are cash only, and there is an ATM inside if you need it. I will say that while the piercings themselves were not expensive, the jewelry was very pricy. I recently received a piercing from Luke at the Vancouver location. I intentionally waited a few days to ensure I was as pleased with the experience as I suspected I was. Turns out, I am MORE SO! I initially went in hoping for an industrial, but suspected I did not have the correct anatomy to support it properly. Turns out that was indeed the case. I then asked Luke if there were anything similar I did have the anatomy for. He explained, that a straight bar wouldn't work, but if I were willing to allow him to customize a piece for me, he could bend the bar, and I could fully rock a unique, one of a kind, industrial. HELL YES!!!?!?!? * Talk to your piercer folks!!! There's so much variety they can do, that we would never even think of! Luke was incredible. He thoroughly explained every thing he was doing. He was profesional, thoughtful and kind. He treated me like a friend, rather than just 1 of 100 customers he sees everyday. The folks at the front counter were profesional, friendly and hospitable. My overall experience was beyond pleasant. It truly felt like hanging out with and being taken care of by friends Oh, and the entire place is IMACUALATELY CLEAN! It's like a sterile art gallery in there, rather than a typical dingy tattoo shop. 4 days in and my piercing is doing better than I could have hoped for. I am through the moon thrilled. I had my brows re-done by Renee and they look fantastic!! She put a lot of time and energy into mapping my face and outlining the perfect shape before even starting the micro blaring. Her attention to detail really allowed me to relax and trust that I was safe in the hands of an expert. She did a combination of micro blading and micro blading, as my skin was previously damaged with scar tissue from the last micro blader. My brows were a challenge to fix, and she def deserves 5 stars!!! I also had my septum pierced by Luke and he is also fantastic! He made me feel very safe, comfortable, and his piercing was perfectly positioned and straight. 5 stars! We were hard pressed to find a shop doing nose piercing during the mask mandate, but Adorn was more than willing to do the piercing while maintaining a beyond sanitary setup. Went into get my VCH done and I had a wonderful experience with all the staff, but Desta, as a whole and as a piercer, was wonderful. I've never been one to feel light-headed with tattoos or piercings, but I guess with the anxiousness of a needle going through your hood, I started feeling light-headed after the piercing. Everyone was wonderful and took great care of me (getting a cold compress, apple juice and laying me down). I really appreciated their kind hearts. I work in OBGYN so showing someone my lady bits doesn't really bother me, but Desta made me feel so comfortable as she was finding the perfect placement. She not only helped me pick out a great set of replacement jewelry, but really created a welcoming environment. Plain and simple, last year I had a terrible experience with a tattoo artist who got employed there recently (at the time). I was so disappointed. My whole family was. We had set an appointment months ahead, planned out pricing and small design for not only me, but for a family member too. At the last place the tattoo artist was employed, parts of my family met her and were thoroughly interested in getting tattooed by her as well. All of a sudden, a day before the appointment, the tattoo artist had to go on leave for personal reasons. Completely understandable, but then nothing. No follow up. I messaged her directly a few times. Still nothing. I called a few times and every time the staff at Adron reassured me she would communicate with me, but to no prevail. I had been with this artist for a year completing a passion project and thought we had a good connection. Turns out my relationship with her was just for profit. She emailed me a month later explaining that she was "not taking on any additional projects at this time as my {her} focus has changed." Adorn explained that she was focusing on bigger projects. On top of that, she lied that she had messaged me about this before that month where I was ignored by her. No screenshot of that message ever existing was given. I was hurt and took it personally at the time and am realizing now she would have done this to anyone. It was for her own benefit. So all in all, I would not recommend going to Adorn, figuring this tattoo artist is still there. Every person matters and if this tattoo artist still rents space there, it says more about Adorn than about the tattoo artist. read more

I went to Adorn Uptown last week to get my flat done (this was also my first time going there).Their jewelry selection had lots of beautiful pieces. The piercing was also done very quickly and i felt little to no pain getting it done which is amazing. The staff is very welcoming and professional! It's been about a week now and i've never had a piercing heal so well. Best piercing shop i've been to by far. I will be going to Adorn again in a couple of months for another piercing.
